As per my knowledge, through the self realization, we realizes the entire world and ourselves as one. A state of super consciousness. Meditation is the only way to have it ? If yes, please let me know the procedures. I only heard about Sri Narayana Guru, Jesus Christ, Buddha, and some others. Also interested to aware about the people who experienced it in this period.

The statement in the question, "As per my knowledge, through the self realization, we realizes the entire world and ourselves as one", needs to be clarified, otherwise there is room for misunderstanding.

The first lesson is that the individual soul (each of us) is minute whereas the supersoul is the Supreme Lord who is the creaor of the entire world.

Just as the sunshine is nondifferent from the sun, the cosmic manifestation is also nondifferent from the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The Supreme Personality is therefore all-pervasive within this material creation. When the senses are active, they appear to be part and parcel of the body, but when the body is asleep, their activities are unmanifest. Similarly, the whole cosmic creation appears different and yet nondifferent from the Supreme Person.

Purport:

This confirms the philosophy of acintya-bhedabheda-tattva, “simultaneously one and different,” propounded by Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. The Supreme Personality of Godhead is simultaneously different and nondifferent from this cosmic manifestation. In a previous verse it has been explained that the Supreme Personality of Godhead, like the root of a tree, is the original cause of everything. It was also explained how the Supreme Personality of Godhead is all-pervasive. He is present within everything in this material manifestation. Since the energy of the Supreme Lord is nondifferent from Him, this material cosmic manifestation is also nondifferent from Him, although it appears different. The sunshine is not different from the sun itself, but it is simultaneously also different. One may be in the sunshine, but he is not on the sun itself. Those who live in this material world are living on the bodily rays of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, but they cannot see Him personally in the material condition.

In this verse the word padam indicates the place where the Supreme Personality of Godhead resides. As confirmed in Isopanisad, isavasyam idam sarvam. The proprietor of a house may live in one room of the house, but the entire house belongs to him. A king may live in one room in Buckingham Palace, but the entire palace is considered his property. It is not necessary for the king to live in every room of that palace for it to be his. He may be physically absent from the rooms, but still the entire palace is understood to be his royal domicile.

The sunshine is light, the sun globe itself is light, and the sun-god is also light. However, the sunshine is not identical with the sun-god, Vivasvan. This is the meaning of simultaneously one and different (acintya-bhedabheda-tattva). All the planets rest on the sunshine, and because of the heat of the sun they all revolve in their orbits. On each and every planet, the trees and plants grow and change colors due to the sunshine. Being the rays of the sun, the sunshine is nondifferent from the sun. Similarly, all the planets, resting on the sunshine, are nondifferent from the sun. The entire material world is completely dependent on the sun, being produced by the sun, and the cause, the sun, is inherent in the effects. Similarly, Krsna is the cause of all causes, and the effects are permeated by the original cause. The entire cosmic manifestation should be understood as the expanded energy of the Supreme Lord.

When one sleeps, the senses are inactive, but this does not mean that the senses are absent. When one is awakened, the senses become active again. Similarly, this cosmic creation is sometimes manifest and sometimes unmanifest, as stated in Bhagavad-gita (bhutva bhutva praliyate). When the cosmic manifestation is dissolved, it is in a kind of sleeping condition, an inactive state. Whether the cosmic manifestation is active or inactive, the energy of the Supreme Lord is always existing. Thus the words “appearance” and “disappearance” apply only to the cosmic manifestation.

Of recent times, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and his disciple Swami Vivekananda are good to follow for a complete and comprehensive spiritual awareness and knowledge. But in particular if you already have started your spiritual pursuit and in particular want to know about Self Realization, then Sri Ramana Maharshi is the way.

I am not undermining Meditation, but Self Realization is in the domain of Jnana(knowledge) where as Meditation is mind control which comes in the domain of self effort and hence Karma (Work) and going to higher and higher states of spiritual experiences. Even a yogi has to come to the path of Jnana at last to attain Self Realization. So try to read Ramana Maharshi's books written by him and on him, and you will know. He had a physical existence from 1879-1950.

If a person truly prays to anyone of them, they will guide that person even now.

and then out of nowhere it comes. Is it the whim of God in all of its elegant, although capricious condition or the flutter of a butterfly's wing upon the winds of time? the main suitable laid plans of mice and men oft flow a stray and leave us naught yet grief and soreness for promised excitement. ----- Robert Burns (Ode to a Mouse)

1. True goal of Meditation

The nature of our true Self is formless and is in the pure state of consciousness during the split seconds from the time we wake up from deep sleep where we are recognizing our presence but yet not recognized the body/mind and stream of egoist thoughts. In this in between state of consciousness, we recognize its presence but yet not identified anything external to it (i.e. body/mind and other thoughts). In this state, our being is merged with its formless source. This state is just opposite of state of concentrated mind. If we take full concentration is as 100% attention on one side of the scale, this state is at 0% attention. At the 0% attension point the attention of the being is not yet focused on anything external to it.

This is the state we enter, when we go into deep sleep state but we are not aware of it. That is why in deep sleep, even though we are in that state of pure consciousness, yet it cannot produce effect of realization.

To go to this state, to be in that state and to be fully in awareness of this state, is the true goal of meditation. In other words, to stretch the split second of experience, where consciousness is aware of its presence, but its attention not yet has fallen the body/mind, to stretch it as long as possible is an attempt that we make through true meditation.

One is truly successful in this attempt, when one is fully comfortable to get in to this state, and be there. That is the time, one is fully aware of one's true nature of soul through direct experience. When that GOAL is reached through direct experience, all doubt souls formless nature will vanish from the mind.

2. A Simple Meditation Processes

1. Choose a specific place in your house, where you will not be disturbed by external sounds and other disturbances for the full duration of the meditation.

2. Sit in a comfortable posture; ensure that your back bone is straight.

3. Close your eyes. Take few long and deep breaths....deep breath in and deep breath out...few times

5. Slow down your breathing an do normal breathing for few minutes.

4. If you are comfortable, do any prayer which you like most.

6. Do long deep breath in and breath out.....after few cycles....slowly decrease the speed at which you do the breath in / out

7. Continue to decrease the speed of breath cycle and go to the cycle as slow as possible

8. Continue the reduction of speed and slowly stop the breath in / out cycles...

9. Allow the breath to go in slow and study phase from here on.

10. After this be in total silence.

11. Continue the silence as long as possible.

12. If any thought arises in this period, don't resist it, allow it to come and go, but don't engage with it. Thought will come and go, because there is no attention given, after some time it will stop coming.

13. If you feel thoughts are still pumping in, you can try the following

A. When the thought is about something in the past, label it as past, say it is past and don’t do anything more.

B. When the thought is about future, label it as future, say it is future and don't do anything more

C. This way what will happen is, after some time, you will waiting for thoughts, at that time, lose feeling that you are waiting and be completely in silence.

14. Thus continue deep in the thoughtless state and be there in total silence/ (total stillness) as long as possible

15. When you feel, you want to finish the meditation, slowly reverse the process.

16. Start taking the long breath cycles for few times.

17. After some time, open your eyes and complete the meditation.

Plan to do this meditation at fixed timing every day. Doing it at early morning hours is the best, but if one feels more relaxed in the evening, then one can do in the evening. Plan to keep the duration for at least half hour in the starting and increase to 1 hour as you feel more and more comfortable. Keeps this going for at least few months to several months.
