Hi i'm a Roman Catholic, but I believe when you get to heaven God lets you have the choice of being sent down as something or someone else or stay up in heaven. I also believe there is No hell and that You just get reincarnated over and over until your soul is Mature enough for a spot in heaven and there you can make the decision weather to live another life or hang out in heaven for a wile. I believe that our first lives we all have lived where the most sinful and we progress after each life.
And we have a conscious of this life and a spiritual conscious that is more aware of our lifetime goals, and writes down the paths that each life you live will take.

Dose anyone else believe this?
basically i'm just fishing for some thoughts and debates

i believe that we live many lives on earth, and that we choose to stay here and live until we are ready to met our creator and show to him that we are mature enough to be in heaven, to show him what we have done for him. i also believe that we have a conscious of our past lives and that in moments of need we can draw apon these memories.

and you can be catholic and have these beliefs i know several catholics like this, i am personally not catholic but i am married to a catholic, and am considering RICA because catholic seems to be more towards my own beliefs than just the christian demoniation i am now.

You say you're Catholic, but you have contrary beliefs. Maybe you might consider learning why these notions are rejected by 2000 years of constant teaching? Apparently, you don't believe in a loving and merciful God and Father, because what you describe says the opposite of that. God doesn't make salvation so difficult that we have to keep trying and trying for perfection!

You have some slight Buddhism mixed into your belief. Buddhists think that until you reach peace, you cannot stop reincarnating and live in nirvana. Your story seems similar. If there's a Buddhist temple nearby, consult them on this matter. The priests will be happy to help you on your spiritual journey. :)

where exactly are you getting the Basis for all these beliefs? Sounds like you just made some of them up according to what you think with no religious or scriptural backing whatsoever....

Btw your not a Catholic if you believe that stuff, your your own religion.

Then you are not really a Catholic. Your belief is not a part of our creed. Dissent from the creed = heresy. Sorry Pax Christy

I've come to a similar belief as yours, after many years of both Protestant and Catholic church doctrines.

I don't worry about church dogma or what other people believe--I figure it's between me and God. God is good, love is good, life is good.

You were just physically born into the catholic religion. (You are just an Agnostic pretty much anyway.) Become Born Again instead!

Holy Communion connects us to both the living and the dead.

Perhaps you are experiencing this.

And do you have any Biblical scripture to support this belief?
