The Sabbath was given to Israel, not the church. The Sabbath is still Saturday, not Sunday, and has never been changed. But the Sabbath is part of the Old Testament Law, and Christians are free from the bondage of the Law (Galatians 4:1-26; Romans 6:14). Sabbath keeping is not required of the Christian—be it Saturday or Sunday. The first day of the week, Sunday, the Lord's Day (Revelation 1:10) celebrates the New Creation, with Christ as our resurrected Head. We are not obligated to follow the Mosaic Sabbath—resting, but are now free to follow the risen Christ—serving. The Apostle Paul said that each individual Christian should decide whether to observe a Sabbath rest, “One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind” (Romans 14:5). We are to worship God every day, not just on Saturday or Sunday.

In Matthew 19:18, Mark 10:19 , Luke 18:20 Jesus names the commandments but, Did Not mentions the sabbath. It was a ceremonial which ended at the cross with Jesus death. Paul had the first Sunday service on Sunday -Acts 20:7

One day out of seven is the Sabbath of the Lord (Exodus 20:10) and that Israel was to keep it (Deuteronomy 5:15) as a sign between Israel and the Lord (Exodus 31:16-17). Christ became our Sabbath (Hebrew 4:8; Colossians 2:16-17).

There is no Scripture that says Sunday is a holy day for Christians.

There is also no Scripture that says the sabbath is a holy day for Christians.

Scripture shows that the sabbath was a holy day of rest for the children of Israel through the vehicle of a covenant known as the "old covenant" which no Christian was ever a party to.

Why is it none of you ever explains how Christians can be held to the conditions of a covenant they were never a party to, and a covenant that ended?

the name of the woman who started Seventh-Day Adventism, Ellen Gould White, adds up to 666: Ellen=100, Gould=555, White=11. I think this "proves" that the foundress of the SDA's religion was the beast

(just something random I came across while I looked up this:)

Christ, while observing the Sabbath, set himself in word and act against this absurd rigorism which made man a slave of the day. He reproved the scribes and Pharisees for putting an intolerable burden on men's shoulders (Matthew 23:4), and proclaimed the principle that "the sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath" (Mark 2:27). He cured on the Sabbath, and defended His disciples for plucking ears of corn on that day. In His arguments with the Pharisees on this account He showed that the Sabbath is not broken in cases of necessity or by acts of charity (Matthew 12:3 sqq.; Mark 2:25 sqq.; Luke 6:3 sqq.; 14:5). St. Paul enumerates the Sabbath among the Jewish observances which are not obligatory on Christians (Colossians 2:16; Galatians 4:9-10; Romans 14:5). The gentile converts held their religious meetings on Sunday (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:2) and with the disappearance of the Jewish Christian churches this day was exclusively observed as the Lord's Day.

Did Jesus observe the Sabbath? Didn't he say the that Israels religious leaders were worshiping in the wrong ways? Does it really matter, we should worship God everyday, not just one day a week.

Under the New Covenant there is no day that must be observed.

The New Covenatnt was prophesied in the Old Covenant times. Jesus brought in the New Covenant. The church has never been under the old one.

Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Jer 31:31-34 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant ... this shall be the covenant that I will make ...I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.... And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Under the New Covenant we recieve the Spirit as the prophet Joel also prophesied would happen in th New Covenant. (Joel 2:27-32)

Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

The ceremonial law was not carried over into the New Covenant. Ceremonial law was a shadow pointing towards the coming of Christ. Christ, the reality of the shadow, has come.

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Col 2:20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,

Col 2:21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

1) The ceremonial law pointed to Christ and is fulfilled in him.

2) Jesus perfectly obeyed the Law.

3) Jesus paid our penalty for breaking the Law.

The Law could not give us the strength to live right but the Spirit that we receive in the New Covenant can.

Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

The moral law as you see is still in effect. The requirements of the moral law are righteous.

send for the New Book: "We Are Almost There" it is free or you can download it from familyradio.com . read it carefully and check every verse in it with the bible. Serious information in there. Very powerful info. Maybe you will have a different outlook after reading it. After reading it and checking everything in the bible, it took me about 3 days to calm down. I now definitely have a different outlook of everything.

How can Sunday be the new holy day when Yahweh never changes Malachi 3:6. The holy day is Saturday and not Sunday.

The New Testament doesn't teach that Sunday is the new "holy day" or that the Sabbath day is any other day than Saturday which starts Friday at sundown and ends Saturday at sundown.

What it does teach is that believers are no longer under the curse of the law and that we find our rest in the finished work of the Lord Jesus on the cross and so each individual believer has the freedom to honor God in matters of setting aside special days as their own conscience dictates.

Believers are not to look down on other believers who hold to the traditions of the law as their mode of honoring the Lord and believers who hold to the traditions of the law are not to judge those who don't make that choice. Each should be fully convinced in their own mind that what they are doing honors God.

Romans 14:1 Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. 2 For one believes he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables. 3 Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him.

4 Who are you to judge another's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand. 5 One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. 6 He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks.

Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, 17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.

It's "Sunday", not "sunday, "noooooooooo" is not a word, perhaps you mean "no"? "mens" is also not a word, "man's" is. Please capitalize the first letter of the first word on every line.
