so in my town the christian school only goes up to grade 8 so now that im a freshman i go to a public highschool. many of the kids here are not Christians but i usually ignore them until the other day. i saw two boys sitting on a bench around the back of the school AND THEY WERE KISSING ON THE LIPS.

i ran over there and forcefully pulled them apart and explained that what they were doing was sin and that they would burn in hell if they didnt repent.

this seemingly offended them and the bigger of the two pushed my away. one thing led to another and we soon broke down in a fight, mostly with me defending myself from the brute. the three of us got sent to the assistant principles office and his judgment was a surprise to me:

the gayboy that didnt attack me got off scott-free, while ther other had to serve detention for the next three days. I on the other hand got a weeks suspension. why was i punished when they had wronged?

You initiated the conflict so it is right for your punishment to be more severe. You may witness to those who you believe to be violating Gods law but you may not commit any act of violence (by laying hands on them you committed an act of violence even though it was slight) Jesus himself directed the faithful to follow the laws of the nation that they live in. Homosexuality is legal in the United States.

You do not participate in the actions that go against your God but you DO NOT strike at or cruelly ridicule those who are not on the Christian path. You may and should witness to them but if they choose not here your words then you go home and pray for them. Put the situation in Gods hands. Rash and thoughtless actions push the very people you wish to help further from the fold.

You might want to consider looking for a more effective method of discussion. If people might have listened to you, they will certainly not if the first thing you tell them is that they will burn in Hell. Hatred is abundant in this world, every action a christian takes should be motivated by love. We have no authority to bodily separate people in most any circumstance. Just remember that talking seriously but lovingly is the best way to communicate. Also, never let anyone forget that the "freedom of speech" we are supposed to have in this nation is not just for those who hate God.

U can't be puttin' ur hands on people. U don't have the RIGHT to make people believe as u do. U can offer some ADVICE & say a PRAY but that's the extent of it. Keep ur hands to urself. Exactly whose agenda were u enforcing when u got urself into this fight, u or Jesus? Isn't there a scripture, or some scriptures that tell u how to handle these situations.

It was wrong of you to pull them apart. Just because you're a Christian doesn't give you the right to decide what other people should do with their lives. You need to learn to respect other people and the way they live. Not everyone is going to see things the way you do. I am a Christian too by the way.

You were the instigator when you used force on them!! You were intolerant and a bully but most of all you carried out a criminal assault on them!!

Time to consider that had it happened outside of school you would have got a criminal record!!

You should also remember that violence has no place in christianity and that you showed christians in a very bad and nasty light!!

You were actually the aggressor. You attacked first. You did not respect their rights. You obviously crossed the line, because do you normally do that to all people kissing? No, it was discrimination against gays.

How would you feel if someone attacked you for reading the Bible? Yeah, it goes both ways.

Do you by chance live in the U.S. where people have the right to not believe what you believe? You could have mentioned your beliefs to them and not touched them and avoided this problems probably. Would you want them to run up to you and kiss you on the lips and say their religion requires it to be just? Didn't think so. Live and let live. Peace.

Ahahaha! You are either TRYING to cause conflict or you are an absolute fool.

If you say "many of the kids here are not Christian" how DARE you try and enforce YOUR beliefs onto them? That is just disgusting of you.

Ignorant.

Unfortunately, this is a very SADsituation that you will have to face more and more. (homosexuality) Stay strong in your faith. But it is not your responsibilityto pass judgement on others. That is for God alone.

Your faith is yours, it is not everyone else's. It is not your place to go around dictating to others that they should live by the rules of your faith. Get that into your head, or you're going to have a lot more trouble in years to come.

If this really happened, then the only thing I see wrong here is that he didn't beat you bad enough to put you in the hospital for a month.

because in some ways you triggered the fight you should not have ran over there and preached what you need to do is you can still have those views but just take the o i feel sorry for them approach but do not force religion down anybody's throats

You got the bigger punishment because you provoked the incident. Your punishment is well deserved. You have no right to force your views on other people.

As a Christian, I can say to you in love that you did not handle this right. It is not your place to forcefully break them up and tell them they are going to hell. It is your place to tell them that Jesus loves them and then pray that your word seed will grow.

i love God.

but yeah that was THE WORST way to go about that!

ok, yeah homosexuality is a sin, but so is lying and not respecting parents etc. it is not worst or no better than any other sin!!

and when spreading the word of God you use love and respect and patience, you DONT tell them they are going to hell for what they are doing!!!! again that's a horrible way to go about it. i recommend spreading Gods love, in a loving caring way instead of force full and rude way!!

Answer me this. How can a gay man or gay women change who they are? Jesus is a being of love. Do you really think Jesus, who is are lord is gonna lower himself to the hatefulness of mankind? I think the part condemning homosexuality was added by men, who seen it as wrong.

And to think that he's suppose to be a role model and set good examples like your principle suppose to. satan's world...

You physically assaulted two people without provocation. You're very lucky that all you got was suspension.

Because God is fake, you ******* Christians are stopping gay people from having what they desire, and you were raised to believe **** that is untrue. If gay people like to kiss let them be. I bet you don't even watch TV cause you say its a sin. ******* religion

Christians will always be persecuted more harshly. Jesus said the world will hate us, because the world hated Him first. Keep up the good work, your reward will be greater than those who sit around and do nothing!

BRAVO! for your courage!

wake up! not everyone shares your belief. what you did is like forcing a stubborn child to take his "medicine". if you want to "change" them then INVITE them to you church or something.......think about it, what if an (stupid) atheist attacks you and tells you that believing on a God is a very "stupid" thing to do. would you like that to happen
