John 20:24 Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have seen the Lord." So he said to them, "Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe." 26 And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, "Peace to you!" 27 Then He said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing." 28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"

Wow, you are obviously uninformed. There are tons of accounts of people who have had "out of body" experiences where they were about to die, and they went to a heavenly realm full of others of love and light...or they died and could look down and see their bodies being operated on by the doctors in a hospital. All of those accounts from people all over the world, religious and nonreligious alike, is certainly CONCRETE PROOF that there IS an afterlife, proof that is ASIDE from belief in any scripture that proclaims the afterlife as real.

What does the belief in afterlife have to do with Christians, or even God necessarily? The Egyptians believed in afterlife but it did not involve and God close to the Christian concept of God. And in turn, many Christians believe in God but do not believe in afterlife.

Your struggle to link after life with Christianity and God is clearly a struggle to disprove Christianity's beliefs altogether.

My question would be why Christians do not believe in an afterlife, when Jesus himself was brought back from the dead. Clearly afterlife is within the power of God. Why would he give this only to Jesus? Another question I would ask would be why Christians do not believe in the eternal soul as traveling from body to body.

Your question, in constrast, attempts lamely to link afterlife to Christians and somehow in all of that disprove Christianity's belief. Or maybe I've misunderstood, and you are saying that because of concrete examples of afterlife (people's out of body experiences), Christians are wrong?

Matthew 7

11. If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

12. So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

13. "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

14. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

15. "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

Evidence are more profound as you learn more about history and science. If you look deep into

our human history, it is full of things that are not explainable and something that are just

to much to call it an 'accident'

The thing is that you have to know where to look and actually put an effort to seek God.

Most people fall short, because they don't need God, and God usually does not contact someone

who don't seek God first

there is always TESTIMONY of life and death experiences who have been brought back from death. some (many) have been dead for more than 4 minutes and as much as 30 min or more.

but the real proof happens when a person qualifies himself (or herself) as a believer and who repents of their sins. personal proof is the best PROOF.

i tell you, i was raised by a single Atheist mother, as a free spirit, i sought to read study and learn and found that I have seen the Glory of Jesus, as though He were exalted above ALL others .

i had 3 visions of Jesus

i had 1 vision of an angel

i continually experience spectres and seeing face of people that seem to be in spritual holographic essense. i have dreams of visions and have seen some types of hell, and ghettos of hell. which is below heaven. i have had dreams of paradise and lower heavenly cities. it seems in almost all of these diverse existences of the afterlife, i see things that are similar to this life but without the evil.

Yes there has been proof, PROOF overflowing, but whether an unbeliever accepts it as proof is their own Failing.

It depends on your definition of "afterlife." If you mean "life after death" there's proof. If you mean something else, I don't know if there's proof or not. You sound a bit doubtful (in a negative way) about the possibility of it, so perhaps you need to find out the answer on your own, without asking others.

not afterlife....but ressurection. The ressurection is like the food but it has to be prepared by god (the cook) first. Right now we are in cooking time, he has not yet served the resurrection but we are still waiting. When he finishes we will have it but just because the food hasn't come yet doesn't mean that there isn't a cook or a meal at all!

i will tell you how...

read this scripture!

Hebrews 11

(New International Version)

1Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2This is what the ancients were commended for.

(The Message)

1-2The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It's our handle on what we can't see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.

(New Living Translation)

1 Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. 2 Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.

You're unsure, aren't you? If there was evidence of an afterlife, wouldn't the world know beyond the shadow of a doubt?

Technically... There has not been a "law" or "scientifically proven", However, religions and their books answer those questions, but they can only be classified as "beliefs"
