Oprah and Friends" to teach course on New Age Christ

Jesus Christ being reinvented, redefined, and blasphemed and, this false New- Age Christ teaching is about to make huge inroads into the world, with the help of the queen of television talk shows, Oprah Winfrey.

Oprah Winfrey, beginning January 1, 2008, on her daily radio program will offer a year-long course on the New Age Christ , in a lesson a day and completely cover the 365 lessons from the Course in Miracles "Workbook."

Listeners will be encouraged to buy A Course in Miracles for the year-long course, and an audio version, recited by Richard (John Boy
Walton) Thomas will be available on compact disc.

Those who finish the Course will have a wholly redefined spiritual mindset-a New Age worldview that include the beliefs that there is no sin, no evil, no devil. A Course in Miracles teaches its students to rethink everything they believe about God and life, and, bluntly
States: "This is a course in mind training" and is dedicated to "thought reversal."

The Course in Miracles -in reality-is the truth of the Bible turned upside down.

Oprah told her television audience that Williamson's book, A Course in Miracles was one of her favorite books, and that she had already bought a thousand copies and would be handing them out to everyone in her studio audience. Oprah's endorsement skyrocketed Williamson's book to the top of the New York Times bestseller list .

I don't know about you, but I am tired of Oprah impersonating herself as some sort of Royalty. She is a talk show host, with a lot of money. Her personal aspirations or beliefs are of no concern to me - Oprah does not speak for me nor does anyone else. I have vowed not to support her programming from here on out - in any way whatsoever. She is placing herself on this high pedestal with a personal, private agenda, taken out of the pockets of people who do not even come close to the kind of money she makes. She is a user and a manipulator - plain and simple. And when she falls from that pedestal - it is a long way down.

Maybe I'm a heretic for saying this, but I really don't give a rat's behind what celebrities say, think, or do. Oprah is an entertainer. Not a religious guru, not a politician, not a military commander, not a neurosurgeon. If I have an issue with any one of those things I go talk to one of those people, not an entertainer. If I want to be entertained, I go see an entertainer. Fame does not equate legitimacy.

THIS IS TRULY THE ANTI-CHRIST.

Here are some quotes from A Course in Miracles:

"There is no sin . . . "

A "slain Christ has no meaning."

"The journey to the cross should be the last ' useless journey."

"Do not make the pathetic error of 'clinging to the old

rugged cross.'"

"The Name of Jesus Christ as such is but a symbol... It is a symbol that is safely used as a replacement for the many names of all the gods to which you pray."

"The recognition of God is the recognition of yourself."

"The Atonement is the final lesson he [man] need learn, for it teaches him that, never having sinned, he has no need of salvation."

Oprah is spiritually blind and so are her followers and the Word of God says when the blind lead the blind they both fall into the ditch. She is among the ranks of the many false religions prevalent today that are leading people to destruction. Only God can intervene and He will not let His own sheep be led astray.

Ok, New-Age, can be seen by many as a noble concept, and Oprah mucking it up with this New-Age Jesus **** is just retarded. I agree with everone that answered, and at the same time don't. I wouldn't follower her based sololy on the fact that it isn't an acredited faith. Now, Wicca, the original New Age and all those other faiths, those are more decent, than for lack of better terms what is actually Oprahism. Look lady, they all love you be, be kind and shut yoru mouth about religon, you're talk-shows have rotted your mind. You have no right to preach theology when really you don't seem to have a religon of your own to ground yourself in before you go coming up with this new faith of yours. Just please, put the book down and stop talking about matters that you are truly ignorent of.

Be free in love and blessed be everyone.

Talk about Demons masquerading around like ministers of righteousness- Oprah is Satanic at best. She claims to be a religious person- but she denies Jesus. Thats enough for me to know that she is a real fake-money or no money-she is dead wrong.

Oprah has traded in what use to be a real belief in God for a materialistic version which can not bring her salvation.

Can we now see why Jesus said that the rich would find it hard to inherit the Kingdom of God? They can not accept Jesus for Jesus, they have to try to change Jesus to meet their personal agenda and desires.

I have very little respect for this women anymore. Yes, she does good things for some people (but she receives glory for it, doesn't she? Is it PR or true heartfelt compassion?) She takes glory on herself and is FULL OF PRIDE (gee, wasn't satan also full of pride?)

She no longer has any desire to Glorify God, she is to busy being famous and making herself a demi-god, so she thinks!

Why are you asking this question? in case you needed to connect the e book club, it is advantageous--as long using fact the fabric which you would be examining isn't immoral, i'm confident Christ could approve of your examining, whether it is not taking you faraway from, say, working.

No, i certainly will not join the O in her new religion. Religions are about controlling the masses, and this part of the mass defies control.

But I don't need to study a book to know that, I already did

It sure sounds better than manistream religion

I'm so happy that Oprah is behind that movement... I'll take anything at all to weaken the iron fist of hate and dogmatism that has been the church of Jesus Christ for so long.
