The Bible writers came up with a weirdo God creating the first man “Adam” to mate NOT with Steve or Eve, but with animals!!! This is the most fundamental Bible TRUTH justifying having to put together a woman EVE so Adam can have “acceptable” sexual intercourse with GIRLS, not with animals! The Jews know this story better than the Christians because they wrote practically all the Bible! They are damn good at story telling! Most of the scripts for the Hollywood movies that we all enjoy were written by Jews ! Shortly after the “creation week” they have God patching up all kinds of goofs. They have him admitting that his original idea of creating Adam alone was inexcusably “no good” because no animal was found to be a compatible mate for Adam. Adam and God looked hard for an animal, “but no help mate was found for Adam!” (Gen 2:18-20). The Judaic Talmud, Yebamoth 63a documents Adam having sex with all the animals in the Garden of Eden until he FINALLY had sexual intercourse with Eve. Eve was put together much later on, and not in the same way Adam was! The Bible God created ADAM and THE ANIMALS long before God ever thought of putting together Eve! It takes a lot of time to name ALL the animals, birds, bugs, fishes, bacteria, viruses and what have you, and try some sexual intercourse with them in search of a “help mate.” God’s original idea about creating Adam to copulate with animals must have included the necessary libido for Adam to find sex with animals challenging, arousing and pretty gratifying! For obvious reasons Christians don’t wish to know anything about it!

Genesis 2:23 (KJV) And Adam said, This is NOW* (*This is the turning point, “NOW” Adam is no longer having sex with the animals!) bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman* (*name tagging was Adam’s last job in the Garden of Eden while he was looking for a sexual partner among the animals, with God’s help, of course!)

The Christian dogma used against gays and same sex marriage, that God created ONE MAN FOR ONE WOMAN from the beginning doesn’t square with any Bible story. Christians abuse gays just for the heck of it! God really wanted Adam to find a MATE AMONG THE ANIMALS. In the meantime, Adam certainly learned a lot about sex with animals. God created Eve as an afterthought! She was not created out of the dirt of the ground at the same time and in the same way that Adam was created! She was a put-together thing LONG AFTER THE CREATION TIME LIMIT THAT GOD IMPOSED ON HIMSELF OF ONE WEEK RAN OUT! When Adam finally met Eve he was not acting like a nerd with her! Christians are trained to flush down the toilet any crap in the Bible that is detrimental to their faith. That is the reason why they claim that the Bible can’t be taken literally, short of seriously.

To add an extra bit of drama to this cheap story in the Bible, the writers made sure that not a single “Guardian Angel” was available to watch over and protect Eve, and the bulk of humanity for that matter from the GREATEST “SIN” AGAINST GOD of wanting to KNOW what is good, and what is evil! It is obvious in the Bible script that Eve knew the risk involved, but most likely she thought that God was wrong again, like when he created man alone. So she took the slim chance of dying in the process of acquiring knowledge, and she was right. She didn’t die! The Bible writers came up with the story that Hell was a place of torment originally prepared for Lucifer and his angels (Mat. 25:41)! The Bible God created Adam and Eve with the capacity to acquire knowledge of good and evil only if they ate from a particular fruit tree! Without gullibility, aka faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God (Heb 11:6)!

The original idea about creating Adam was for God to have some cheap labor to till a little Garden of Eden the middle of the Babylon region. No angel was interested in that job! So God had to create Adam “a little inferior to the angles” – like cheap labor from south of the border! By the way, the Bible writers say that BEFORE Eve ate the forbidden fruit there was no such thing as death or decay! Saint Paul says that EVE caused death and decay to appear in the world when she gave Adam to eat the fruit of knowledge! This is Christian Creationist Science of an Intelligent Designer at its best!

According to the Bible writers God let the fate of the whole human race at the hands of an inexperienced and totally naïve woman! Adam and Eve learned that it was evil to eat the forbidden fruit of knowledge ONLY when their eyes were opened and they realized that they were naked. Now it is the way around, Christians severely shunt any nudity as evil, especially when it is cold outside! One “cool afternoon” God made a routine visit to the Garden of Eden and found out that his fears were well founded, Adam and Eve ate the fruit of knowledge. God immediately puts in motion his paramount plan of sending God the Son Jesus Christ to Earth in the future to be nailed to a Holy Cross to pay for Eve’s curiosity! Anybody failing to hear and believe this story about Jesus will not go to Hell created for Satan and the Demons,

Jesus is recognizing a higher “God” authority than himself that ordered him to be nailed to the Holy Cross, and that he is following the script in a book!

Because of Eve, there is no STANDARD SALVATION for women in the Bible scrip! THEY MUST FORFEIT ANY SEXUAL PLEASURE other than having babies. In Islam the local butcher carves the clitoris out when the girls turn teenager so they won’t be horny!

I Timothy 2:14-5 (NIV) And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the WOMAN who was deceived and became a sinner. BUT WOMEN WILL BE SAVED THROUGH CHILDBEARING.

The Catholic Church is dead serious about banning any birth control device, including condoms that can be used to prevent AIDS! The Pope wants to see all the women capable of getting pregnant going to Heaven when they die! Saint Paul makes it clear, Christian women’s salvation is conditional to making babies within the Christian faith!

One has to be very gullible and have a very low IQ to believe in the Christian or any religion! The moral values of the perverts who wrote the Bible need to be investigated. One of them claim that God forced him to eat his food cooked using HUMAN sh*t for fuel (Eze 4:12)! Another writer claims that God told him to go about preaching totally NAKED for few years at a time (Isa 20:2-3)! Still another one says that God will smear human excrement on his chosen people’s face (Mal 2:3) These are only a few sketches that explain a lot of the depravity, filth and immorality in the Bible that Christians want to subtly force on the rest of us! Christians hardly read it. They let their preachers skim of the Bible anything that is detrimental to the Christian faith, so their faithful giving to “The LORD” will not waiver! Only atheists dare to tell you like it is in the Bible without any bigotry! Anybody in the news media knows that it is suicidal to expose Christianity.

Incest is sexual relations with another of your family. The laws against it don't change the fact that incest existed. If the Bible is accurate then Adam and Eve had 2 sons. Those sons had kids. They had sex with their mom to get the kids. Then everyone but Noah and his family died in the flood. But there are billions of us again. More family fun.

If you don't agree with this concept or don't think that only a few people could successfully breed without having severe retardation and birth defects then don't be a Christian. If you believe the Bible is real then don't complain if your kids have sex with their parents and other family members.

Yes I know; lots of thumbs down for upsetting the religious folk for quoting their own beliefs at them.

EDIT: The Bible does talk about a city called Nod but since Adam and Eve are clearly stated to be the first humans. Nod had to be populated by some other species. That may be where dinosaur bones come from since some Christians think dinos and humans were on earth at the same time.

First, let's define what a true Christian is. A Christian is a true believer in The Father and The Son. A Christian is a person who has offered up their eternal soul to salvation and strives to live the life God wants us to live. The mission of a true believer in Christ is not to convert. But simply to "put the bug in the ear". Our responsibilty as believers and born again Children of God is to tell others what we know about God and His Holy Kingdom. We are taught in the Bible that if a person is not receptive to that to "dust your feet and keep walking". Converting someone is not the goal, it was never supposed to be. That right is soley God's. There is no sin greater than another. They are all equal in the eyes of God. Atheists are not the only immoral people. Everyone is immoral regardless of faith because of original sin. The original sin being direct disobedience toward God. Those who point the finger at others must cast the sin out of themselves first. For the Bible teaches us "let he who is without sin cast the first stone...". Just as with all groups of religious believers, a few bad apples ruin it for the few. Do I think the Islamic faith is immoral? Do I believe Catholics are crazy? Do I think Aethists will burn in hell? Is it right to worship Buddah or any other idol other than God? These answers I cannot give. Each person's fate of soul is between them and their Creator. God will decide who goes where in the end. It is not my place to tell anyone where they are going and whether or not they are wrong. My responsiblity is to share the Word of God with others as I know it. That is the real deal with missionary work and witnessing to others. Faith by force is not what God intended. The more Extreme believers make it hard to really understand the Word in its truth..... It is unfair to judge anyone for any reason, especially on the basis that a few of their believers have committed a sin.

Incest, which was neither outlawed nor repugnant until the time of Moses. How does evolution explain population?

We do not know how old Cain was when he chose his wife. We do know that people lived well over 500 years. I do not know why people think Nod must be a civilization inhabited by any but offspring from Adam and Eve.

Titania, you are the one supposing some type of chronology that says Cain was already married when Seth was born.

All humans are descendants of Adam and Eve. The Bible says that Eve was the Mother of all the living.

Forget about interbreeding and DNA issues. If one believes in Adam and Eve its clear that DNA issues are no problem for God.

Adam and Eve had many other children as well and lived to be of an old age. It doesnt give a time line for these events. When you read the story its easy to ASSUME that they occur in a short period of time.

Genesis 5:4

After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.

Over a period of this 8oo years and many children its easy to see how the family would grow to a very large number and that they would drift apart as a family by relationship and by distance as well.

Do you know all of your relatives from 8oo years to the present? No, more like the last 50 years.

There was a land of Nod (actually not a "land" or location so to speak but a group of Nomads. ) look up in a bible online.

Some don;t admit it because they say the Bible and the story of creation is literal. The land of Nod (also in the Bible) proves it is not. Interesting though how they would randomly add children to adam and eve that are not in the Bible (no mention of any other children or daughters) rather then accept what is there and take it for the allegory it is.

Genesis 4:16 Cain then left the LORD'S presence and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden.

I would love for one literalist to be able to show me where it says Adam and Eve had other children or where any were daughters at the time of Cain and Abel. Since Seth and the others were born after Cain's explusion.

I have been on what seems an endless search for answers such as this. I have been through every sect, believers and non-believers, known to man. I will not name the religious sect I have come to accept, as that does not matter, but I am Christian and I have many reasons to believe, and none not to.

In answer to your particular question, this one plagued me. On my journey I came to a conclusion and will outline it here for you. Please bear with me.

1. The Bible is not complete and is not in the correct order. The Book of Enoch answers many questions and is best understood in its Ethiopian interpretation ... translated to English of course. This is where I found many answers through deductive reasoning.

2. When we begin reading the Bible in Genesis, we start with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. And there are many interpretations, but I am a word-a-holic and read what it said. To keep it very simple, when God cast them from Eden we were never led to believe that Eden was on Earth. That was "man's interpretation." In fact, if the Bible is read correctly, there is NO way it could have been on Earth.

3. The natural question that came to my mind when I read this was: Which came first, Adam and Eve or evil? Obviously the answer is evil; and, Lucifer "the greatest and most beautiful of God's Angels," the Angel who was given reign over all the Earth and it's inhabitants and features, had already fallen from grace since he came to Eve as the serpent and tempted her.

4. With that said, and for the sake of space, I will try and keep this brief: When God cast Adam and Eve out of Eden, they were cast to Earth and they were told to "Go forth and 'REPLENISH' the earth." So what does the word "replenish" mean? It does not mean to "plenish," or it would have said that. When the prefix "re-" is added, it means to "do again" or to "plenish the earth again."

5. Next natural question: What happened that the earth needed to be replenished? What was here before?" And the Bible also answers that, but Enoch does it best. Lucifer was cast from favor because he wanted to be like God. He wanted to create (for one thing). And I cannot remember where the verse is in the Bible that says this, but with a little searching you will find it and it is in Enoch as well: Lucifer and his "followers" laid with the daughters of man and the offspring were giant creatures, that the earth was unable to sustain. It does not take a rocket scientist to see this was the dinosaur. And this obviously means that there was some form of man here already. When God made Adam and Eve in His image ... they were called a man & woman but were without sin and perfect. And would have had to have been in some spiritual form to have been in his image. When cast out, they were cast to earth and as all other men. Just as when Cain was sent away, one could ask where he found a wife. I believe a lot is left unanswered, but I think this gives the basics of what I discovered and concluded.

This would also leave room for science and evolution and explain why they have made the discoveries they have made. This would imply that Adam and Eve are the "Missing Link" they have long searched for.

I have come to understand in my 51 years of life that far too many people treat the Bible as a buffet. They take what they want and can accept and leave the rest. And that leads to great confusion. The Bible must be taken in its entirety and the parables understood. And it must be read with an open mind and with the knowledge that all answers are there, you just have to locate them.

Remember please, this is my theory, and while it is based on many years of research, it is still my theory. This is why man is born in sin and this is why Jesus came and died so that those sins might be eradicated. Our option is to accept or to not accept and God gave us free will. God does not intervene even though I am sure it must be very hard at times. But one must remember, Lucifer was given reign here on the Earth and man made all the wrong choices. Jesus was a way back to God and thus came and fulfilled the old law. I will leave it here as I believe this answered the question. Plus, this is a topic I really can get on a role with. In college (graduate school), when I was very much unsure of my beliefs, a very good professor gave me a very hard assignment that led me to the path I follow. My assignment was "Write a thesis analyzing the Bible and the concept of good vs. evil, with a special focus on the questions: Does the Bible contradict itself? and If you accept there is a God, if He is truly all good, why is there so much suffering on earth?"

I received an A and the grade was decided upon by a panel, not one professor. I am not bragging (much... I am proud of the work I did. It took me five years to complete) And for those who may think AH...a religion nut, No. My courses of study were History, World Lit, and Writing (Creative and Editorial).

And Ruth: You are mistaken. People DID NOT live to be well over 500 years old. This is what Titania was trying to emphasize in people taking things literally. Our calendar is based on the moon and it's cycles. The calendar in those days was based on a totally different system. So one year to them may have been one month to us. The claendar we use today is relatively new in terms of the age of the world. And that is not supposition; that is fact. I am not trying to argue with you, just want you to get your facts straight as this is what leads to misinterpretation and people misunderstanding the Bible.

One of the problems with the Bible...

It's not real clear on much of anything... there are two stories of the flood and at least two stries of the bith of Jesus and they don't match. All of these have created all sorts of stories needed to 'clarify' them and many of those stories don't match.

Good luck... some people can just overlook these things, it's up to you to decide...

The Bible never relates incest at all in the story.

Cain is cast out of the presence of the Lord and his family, and God provides for him. Adam and Eve were only the first.

There is only incest if you READ it into it and assume it. The text does not mention it, and, mentions people of the land of Nod.

There could be no incest before the law.

Genesis 3:20 And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

The law was given to Moses 1500 BC. There was no incest before Moses.

Because the bible contradicts itself. In the Adam and Eve story they have two sons one of which Able is murdered by his brother Cain. Cain is them marked but not visibly so, because other wise he might be persecuted. He then goes to the city. Hmm. Big contradiction. Where did the city of people come from to persecute him.

Try reading Origin of Species if you want an explanation that makes sense, and don't waste your money trying to derive logical explanations from Bronze Age mythology written by illiterate desert tribesmen.
