Not to be picky Laptop, be she's "Pentecostal", not "Pentacostal".

And though I have not heard weather she is or not, if she is than I am that much more in support of her. If she is, then the following issues that most Pentecostals support would most defiantly benefit our nation. Of course, these are just my opinions...

1. Righteousness. Not "righteousness" but the righteousness though comes through having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Have more people in office who are Christians will always help in every decision.

2. Pro-life. I can guaranty you, that if every unborn American child could speak, they would support her.

3. Dependency upon the direction of the Holy Spirit.

4. Support of traditional marriage.

Just to name a few.

Good question.

I doubt Ron Paul. I think he'd be good for McCain; but I think he is too against the war, and McCain will not want him on board because of that. I think McCain needs to cover other weaknesses anyway. I think the war is a weakness of his, but there will be no Republican besides Paul who can help him on that point. And like I said, Paul is probably out. His two other weaknesses are the economy, and the problems with the Religious Right. I think if he wants to cover himself on the economy, Mitt Romney would be the way to go. Mitt Romney has extensive experience in the private business sector and has been CEO on at least one corporation. I'll be honest, I don't know his business experience; but nearly all who voted for him during the primaries went with his business experience for fixing economy as the reason. I believe his other best choice to cover the Religious Right would probably be Mike Huckabee. A former Baptist minister with heavy support among the Religious Right, he'd be an excellent cover on that point. I believe McCain's best choice overall would be to go with Mike Huckabee as his VP choice, but with the promise that Mitt Romney would get a Cabinet post related to the economy if McCain wins the general election. That way he covers both situations. The only other suggestion I would make to McCain if I had his ear would probably be Steve Forbes, the billionaire. Same help as Mitt Romney, but not as "unpredictable" among the polls as Mitt Romney would be with the Religious Right. And Joe Lieberman has already been suggested; Lieberman said he would say no; and McCain said he probably wouldn't ask anyway. Lieberman intends to stay with the Democrats, and McCain already has enough trouble with the Conservative Base. He won't run with a Democrat.

Pentacostal or not, i'm still very tickled about his choice. I mean I honeslty do not think that man chose her because she was the best or a good Christian, and a lot of repulicans r upset about that. I mean, at least Obama chose his running mate because he sincerely thought he would be the right man for the job from his background and what all that man had went through throughout his life. Because I'm not even gonna lie. At first I was like "who the heck is this guy?" until I started learning about him. i believe the republicans were expecting a running mate to really hit it out the ball park, especially since obama had made history for all of those americans showing up to watch him speak, let alone the people outside of the stadium in different states. the woman is inexperienced (they can't get Obama about that anymore..strike 1) she's being investigated for stuff (strike 2) It is obvious that he chose this woman to win all of Hilary Clinton's voters and YOUNG women which drives the helping him win pretty much out of the window (strike 3) and this man has always voted against women and their rights so he chose her to make it seem like he was for women's rights, let alone that, mccain is kind of up in age, and u never know what can happen. If something were to happen, America has to watch this woman be president and she wouldn't know what the heck she is doing (YOU'RE OUT!) I mean, I honestlsy don't understand it. I was expecting mccain to make a better choice than that, but he screwed it up for his own side. A lot of people are furious about that and I really do understand why. I'm just wondering what ever happened to common sense!

Say what you want, it doesn't matter!! I'm proud to be what I am( a pentecostal), and I'm glad that McCain has chosen a running mate that is pentecostal. We need more of us in this world today. Laugh, and make fun all you want to, but just wait until judgement day. Oh, to have a national health plan such as faith healing will be such an awesome thing, why? Because all of the doctors will be out of business. We may seem a bit nutty to people like you, but hey your entitled to your own opinion. I'm just glad that I was amoung the people that God chose to share the truth with, yes, I am one of the chosen, which is a great priviledge. Although, I want for McCain to win, it probably won't happen. For the Bible says that stuff like this will come to pass. The end of this world is near, so I would stop worring about stuff such as this, and start getting myself ready to meet the maker. I suggest you do the same. God bless you all, and I only hope that you find the truth before it's too late...

A Pentecostal Christian is a Christian who believes that the Gifts of the Spirit such as existed in the time of the Apostles are for today. The most common gift associated with Pentecostals is "speaking in tongues". This form of prayer, in an unknown language enable the person to pray about things that they may not even know that they need to pray about, and have no way of knowing about, but can address these unknown matters using the "gift of tongues". Pentecostal also believe that God can use dreams, to give warnings also.

This gift can be given to anyone, and is available, from God.

First of all.. Why would a pentecostal running mate be bad for the country?

Second of all.. Benny Hinn is a joke.

In light of the fact that the vice president has even less power than the president does, I doubt it will have any effect. I enjoy election time people making promises they can't keep without congressional backing. It almost seems humorous.

And she's even less experienced than Obama. Considering that with his age and health it's not out of the realm of possibility that he'd drop dead in the White House, is this someone we would want to take over as the PRESIDENT?

(I didn't know she was a Pensacostal. Ooooo boy. We have GOT to find some video of her speaking in tongues.)

Mathematicians have never proven that prime numbers can't be quickly generated. It's just that no one has found a way that they can be located, other than "brute force" (checking every number).

Computer encryption is vital to national security, but commonly used encryption algorithms rely on the fact that prime numbers are difficult to generate.

Someone able to speak in tongues closes this hypothetical security problem, because no matter how many primes we generate, no one can understand that ****.

specific religion has little to do with my choice. Where a politician or party stands on the morality issues and how that stance aligns with my own beliefs is more vital than any other issue -- even economy, a global cool-down, drilling, hurricane preparedness . . .

Do you have a point? other than that one on your head that is?

Here's a little bit of info for you...GOD is not worried about your opinion of HIM or HIS ability to heal.

I'm sure that you though the power of this one 'question' from you would change the entire universe but ...

Talk about worst case scenarios. What could be worse than Bush /Cheney? If something should happen to John Bush-McCain, we would have a Holy Roller in the White house. I think I would move to New Zealand.

yeah I can see that in McCain's face. I mean Pentacostal.

Wilder music and dancing at political rallies?

No benefit really. If we get 8 more years of the same, this country is done for.

EDIT: If Obama hates babies, why did he fight to get all the little ones in his state health care? I'm so sick of nit wits who have nothing real to base their hate on, so they just spout ignorant BS.

I don't think it's a good idea to have a person who "speaks in tongues," believes that Satan is our worst enemy, and believes in being "slain in the Spirit" that close to being President (I assume you're correct that she's Pentecostal, I haven't heard or confirmed that yet).

It means she doesn't think mothers should be able to kill their babies when they survive an induced labor abortion. Barack voted 3 times against giving medical aid to abortion survivors. He wants them left to die because the mother wanted an abortion, not a baby. But you can bet won't push for infanticide in a national health care plan, unlike Obama.

I sorry but your post is exhibiting a rather bigoted attitude. Pentecostals are not "nuts."

How can having a christian or muslim or mormon be beneficial? Only atheists should be aloud to run, to actually keep the separation of church and state that we're SUPPOSED to have but don't. "One nation under god' 'in god we trust' etc. Oboma former pastor believes oboma will rebirth this country and make the white devil pay, how is THAT gong to be good?
