Because we're all beautifully made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27) we all have the right to life as the Author of Life has bestowed us with life, therefore the sanctity of life is of the utmost importance, thus, abortion is immoral.

Would we permit killing a 6 month old baby because they are the result of rape?
An infant in the womb is just as human, just as alive, and just as unique as a 6 month old. These facts do not mitigate the suffering of the mother. But that suffering does not justify the murder of the unborn child. If we believe humans have a right to be safe from murder, then that right to life should be applied to all unique, living humans.
If we want to kill someone, kill the rapist. Then provide every possible support for both the mother and the baby.

Rape is a terrilbe thing and the perpetrator should be shot. Abortion is also a terrible thing and there is something wrong with a society that does not sorrow for the loss of an unborn child. However, in some very severe circumstances, an abortion might be justified. In this case, the mother should look for counsel from others in making such a serious decision so that she does not carry the burden alone. In any case, those around her should also mourn with her and show support for having to do such a drastic thing.
There is something wrong with anyone who thinks that abortion on demand is OK or even some kind of virtue, don't you think?

Sorry to break it to you, but an undifferentiated mass of cells is NOT a baby! Why do you advocate furthering the damage rapists do by forcing their victims to carry that mass of cells until it becomes a baby, then shoving it out of their already traumatized vagina? What kind of a sick fĂșck are you?

It's not a baby until months in, so, we're good.

Both are creatures created in God's image and likeness. Both have a right to live.

The baby may not know anything about, but can you imagine being a woman, and carrying a developing child for nine momnths knowing where it came from?!
You're basically making thr act of rape last for nine months. Regardless of who is supporting her or the baby, that is a living nightmare.

It's sad that you think ALL Atheists would respond with suggesting an abortion.
It just goes to show how biased some people are!

I'm pro-life --- but our society is very lacking in enough meaningful employment for young people. So I can see their dilemma.

"Impregranated"? Is that a word?
Stop it with this "the baby has life". "Life" does not begin until someone is born alive and has taken a breath of air. After that happens, "life" (as we know it) begins. You need to study biology and human reproduction, not religion, before you attempt to talk about this subject.
Whether you're Atheist or Christian: Can you tell me ONE good reason why a woman who has been raped should be forced to go through pregnancy and the pain of childbirth with the spawn of the man who raped her - a man she now hates with all her being?

Kindly define "impregranated." I have not encountered this word.

The choice belongs to the mother, not you. Why don't you mind your own damn business.
