Spiritually speaking, do you think The Joker is right about this?

Joker said people are only as good as the world let's them be. And that when the chips are down, people will eat each other!

Joker has a point. I was thinking about a best selling book I read 30 years ago, the 900 Days about the Nazi seige of Leningrad. In that city, reduced to Hell on earth it was a dog eat dog scenario and people did resort to cannibalism.

I like Batman so I will try to give you a good answer. The Joker had a traumatic childhood. It makes him feel better to be evil. This does not mean that he is a COMPLETE idiot. He is childish because he likes to play games with people, especially Batman. Batman also had a traumatic childhood. He became a vigilante to help himself overcome his fears by being good; just like the Joker who deals with his fears by being evil. Neither Batman or the Joker will have a peaceful life until they see a therapist. Never believe what an evil person says!

I agree with the first part but not with the second. In tough situations people usually organize themselves to find a solution, just like when those miners got trapped in Chile.
