No one knows what is the oldest religion. Jainism is dated older than Hinduism.



Hinduism is peaceful? So beggers derserve to starve because they did something wrong in their past lives? Certain women must be prostitutes because their astrological chart places them in that field, that's peaceful?



Heck just go to India, lets see what you think of Hindu drivers and Hindus charging you more money for being western.



The Teacher, Sai Baba was a con artists, many videos of him faking miracles, plus found dead with millions of dollars and silver and gold, yeah such a god on earth LOL



Osho was right about Hinduism, full of scammers. And Sanskrit means refined, so it isnt the oldest language since was refining something, what was it refining? Prakit.

If you are talking about caste in Indian society then this was a man made system NOT a teaching of Hinduism. If you want proof then if you read the Vedas and Upanishads (scriptures of authority in Hinduism) these scriptures do not mention caste system or caste discrimination - it is not sanctioned.



This is effectively social stratification - class system parading as Hindu teaching. At best it can be called atrocity in the name of Hinduism.

Hinduism is wonderful. However, whoever told you it was the oldest religion should cite their sources, I don't think that is true. It was derived from the Vedic system of belief.



The problem with religion is seldom the ideas and purpose, which is generally professed to be peace and harmony (which isn't always true). My problem in general is with the people who put their own twists on things, corrupting it.

None of the world's great religions is particularly old. If a religion has a holy book, you can be sure it's pretty new. Truly old religions include shamanism and animism.

All Hindu scriptures are written in Sanscrit which a kind of Proto-Language from which all languages have originated..that is why English is known as belonging to the Indo Aryan group of Languages ---



This is the language of God and the most profound truths are written in this lost tongue.

until there is caste system in Hinduism, I will say it a curse for its 20 % of population (untouchables).
