If you can't handle the truth, then that sucks for you and you have completely deluded yourself.

I changed the syntax of this question that originally said "Science is right", but, I misspoke, I know it's not always right, but it definitely works.

Just something you ought to know about science...

It is the effort to separate the known from the unknown.

And science is always ready to change a conclusion, based on testable evidence. That's the beauty of science.

Religion, on the other hand stops investigation.

In fact, for 1200 years, in Europe, Christianity ended all scientific investigation into all branches of science.... surgical instruments were destroyed, people who went against the Chruch's idea that the Earth was the center of the UNIVERSE, ended up under house arrest....even as late as the 1600.

Galileo spent the last 8 years of his life, under house arrest by the Pope. Had he be less famous, he would have been tortured and murdered.

Science will never know everything. And "We don't know" is always a perfectly good answer. "We don't know, so goddidit" is never ever, ever an acceptable answer to any scientist.

Perhaps you misinterpret the meaning of science? Science is when you can test and prove something. Yes, it is right many a time, but many other times things that aren't science, are called science.

Such as the evolution theory: it's just that, a theory. It has not been proven (and cannot, because it is untrue)

Such as the world coming from a big bang: that's just not logical. the probability would be so low that it is impossible, and if it was to be a big bang, then all the planets and solar systems etc should be spinning in the same direction, and away from each other (and this is not always the case)

These so called facts are often referred to as science, while it requires even more faith than to believe the Bible account of Creation. None of us were there. So it is in faith to believe either story. We just got to learn to shose the more logical one.

And yes, many "religious" individuals or groups have been corrupt, but face it, without a moral law, we would have even more chaos on this earth. We have to learn to respect one another's beliefs as long as it doesn't hurt or force another's life or freedom of choice to be destroyed.

I really enjoy science but what a shame the religion of evolution has drilled the lie into the weak minded we should pray for truth to touch the pagans heart evolution has been completely debunked and yet they still fool the pagan minded person and teach what has been prov in to be wrong God hates religions God gives truth and wisdom by the Holy Spirit , when you Truly believe in evolution even know there is zero evidence a person must need a lot of faith because no evidence and a story of us evolving from a can of soup over billions of years is such a fairy tale even a child knows Better than to believe in a Disney Land story Wake up Disney and pray for truth too come into your heart

@ ladyren

Peoples opinions stopped investigation, scientists of old also refused to progress because they believed we were the center of the universe, they wanted it to be so.

Religion is not the cause of human weakness and true religion is not one of saying don't try to prove me wrong.

Religion fills the void that science has yet to master, and beyond what science will never master. For science cannot and will not explain what is outside the universe as when the laws of physics do not apply then where are we. There will always be a place for religion as there is always to be a void science cannot explain.

Science also lies, backtrack, change as the changing wind. It does NOT work.

God ALWAYS is the TRUTH.

Christianity has worked for hundreds of centuries.

"religion doesn't and is a corruption to society"

1.They're not mutually exclusive.

2. It's up to debate, dude. If you don't debate and automatically assume something...GTFO the internet

Religious people switch back & forth from science to religion depending on their emotions at the time....and that.

Religion isn't bad, it's just religious nutjobs who try to control/force upon things..

rational?

you should look at quantum mechanics. it walks over to common sense and takes a dump on its face.

religion isnt a corruption to society, its a cancer.
