Question:
You know how none of Jesus' bones were broken?...?

Well, I had a further thought- besides a fullfiflment of prophesy- is there a meaning behind the 'not breaking' of Jesus' bones? Is there a Jewish sub-context I'm not aware of?

Relevant and scripturally contextual answers are preferred thanks.

That's what the scripture tells us. Muslims lie that he was not crucified. They have all sorts of problems with Jesus but have no problems when they follow a pedophile named Madhammad.

The gr8 defender of islam (heresy) points out the dream of Pilate's wife and says that Pilate "did everything in his power to make sure Jesus did not die". Dying depends upon each individual body type. Ex.Some people may die with just one bullet while some may die with 3 or more. Thus Pilate could not do anything in that aspect. But not allowing the crucifixion of Jesus to take place was something that Pilate could do. But he didn't. Thus your first claim is just lies or that you are rattling out what you have been brainwashed with or that you have no thinking capacity.

Regarding blood and water. From a medical viewpoint: a wound of the type inflicted on Jesus, if the person were still alive, would not bleed out the wound opening but bleed into the chest cavity, causing an internal hemorrhage. At the aperture of the wound, the blood would be barely oozing from the opening. For a spear to form a perfect channel that would allow the blood and serum to flow out the spear wound is next to impossible. The massive internal damage done to a person under crucifixion together with spearing in the area near the heart, would cause death almost immediately. The State of Massachusetts General Hospital, performed over a period of years, research on people who died of a ruptured heart. Normally, a heart has 20 cc's of pericardial fluid. When a person dies of a ruptured heart, there is more than 500 cc's of pericardial fluid, and it would come out in the form of a fluid and clotted blood. Perhaps this is what was viewed when Christ was stabbed by the spear thrust.

Regarding the broken legs: Jesus legs were not broken because when the soldier was sent to break his legs he was already dead,(not because, he was alive) but the one's to his sides had their broken.

With regards to eating. I Corinthians 15:44, 51. Gives the explanation of the glorified, imperishable body. It was a spiritual body, and yet, it had substance. He could walk through a door; He could appear in their presence. He didn't need food, but He took food. Otherwise, they would have said, "You're merely a spirit." No, He had what the Bible called the resurrected, glorified, incorruptible body. And if I were in that room and I knew I'd seen Him crucified, buried and everything else, and all of a sudden, with the doors locked, He appeared in the midst of the group, I think I'd be a little frightened, too. With regards to the oil brought by Mary Magdalene, in the olden times people used to put oils, and herbs on their dead kings and that's exactly what she did, she brought some oil to put on her dead king.

Not everybody likes lies, deceit, absurdities, heresy, blasphemy but there are certain people who like it. They are called muslims.

In Old Testament rituals , lambs were sacrificed through halal method. In this the sacrificial animals` throat was slit without cutting the bones in the neck. Jesus who is compared to this Lamb without a blemish also was crucified as a permanent sacrifice for everyone`s sins. So much so no bone of Jesus was broken .

Jesus did not die on the Cross so you have to first understand and accept this fact.

Pontius Pilate's wife had a dream which she told him about which interprets to the fact the Jesus was innocent of treason for which he was charged. As such, Pontius Pilate was agitated about carrying out the sentence passed by the Jews that Jesus be killed and he did everything in his power to make sure Jesus did not die. That is why he insisted that the bones of Jesus not be broken and that his "body" be given to his folks as soon as he was taken down from the cross.

Well the rest is history. Jesus was taken down the cross alive (blood and water gushed out from his wound which is a sure sign that he was alive. Then he was anointed with aloe - which is not used on dead people but as a elixir for wounds.

He recovered within 3 days and came out of the sepulcher alive as Mary Magdalene and his disciples met him (disguised as a gardener) He showed them his wounds and confirmed that he has not yet ascended to his Father. Furthermore he ate fish with his disciples before taking up a journey to preach to the Lost Tribes of Israel (a mission which he fully explained earlier to his disciples.)

in order to understand this passage, you have to have a working knowledge of the forensics of a crucifixion.

Death by crucifixion was not due to loss of blood, usually the person suffocates to death because they can no longer lift themselves up to take a breath.

If they can still do so, the Romans used to come around and break their legs so that they couldn't.

I read something about this....a long long time ago.

and if I recall correctly....

not only were none of his bones broken, but he was hung on a Friday, (which is very unusual).
