Jesus will return to the Mount of Olives at the end of the 7 years of the Great Tribulation.



Jesus does show Himself to people now and again, but everyone will see Him returning after the tribulation.

Matthew 24.30 "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man (Jesus) coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.



Just to explain the background, it is believed by most Christians that they will have been taken into heaven at this point and that those who are left are those who have rejected Jesus. That's why we see the reaction that is described here, when Jesus does return. They hate Him and don't even believe He exists. His sighting however, means that they realize they have been wrong all this time, and that now it's too late. That's why they mourn at His return.

First the trumpet will sound and the dead will rise from their graves to be judged. The living Christians will then also go up and meet Jesus in the air. Next time He comes to earth He will stand on the Mount of Olives, Zechariah 14:4.

Now we can see quiet easily what is going to happen, the Messiah 'Yeshua' on His return, will plant His feet on the Mount of Olives, and there will be an earthquake, it will cause the Mount of Olive’s to split even up to the Temple Mount. With the Mount of Olive’s split water will be able to easily run to the Dead Sea, as it already runs to the Dead Sea through the Kidron Valley. This can be seen at the Greek Monastery of Mar Saba near Bet Sahur. With this water running from the Temple Mount it would have no problem finding its way to the Soreq River that runs near Bet Shemesh and into the Mediterranean Sea.



We find more Scripture on this subject in Ezekiel 47:1-12. Verse :1 says the water will come out from under the house. In reference to the Temple Mount or the House of God. Verse:8 Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea; which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed. (The dead waters of the Dead Sea will be healed)."



If apparitions of Jesus are reported, do not believe those people. I can't find the verse, but it's something like "Look, there's Jesus over there."
