I absolutely do not believe in the trinity...Jesus repeatedly said "the Father is greater than I" which makes clear that they are not co-equal.
I do not believe in worshiping idols
im kind of torn about holidays...while i do believe they have pagan origins i see the importance of remembering how Jesus was born and his sacrifice. Is there a religion that commemorates those but doesn't play into pagan traditions?
I absolutely do not believe in infant baptizing...we are suppose to follow Jesus' example....and he got baptized when he was 30...meaning he was able to comprehend what was going on around him and made that choice by himself.
Honestly I would just really like a church that upholds the Bibles teachings and wont shun me because im married to a military man.
I also hated the fact that JW's dont really push their members to get a good education. I understand we are put on earth to preach God's word but I doubt he likes the fact that they subject themselves to lower income jobs, they feed off government assistance and are not good active members of society.
Also while God wants his people to be "no part of the world" I dont think he means to shun everyone who is different.
And dont even get me started on all the women I saw being pushed into staying with their abusive husbands because they are so afraid to displease God by getting a divorce. I dont understand how they would want their members to stay in unhealthy abusive sick relationships. Would that mean they believe God would want that too???
So any help would be nice...I'm kind of lost right now.
