Question:
The judgment seat of Christ is the end of the law?

Why do many people still think the judgment seat of Christ is the seat of Moses: Law, which is where fools, hypocrites, vipers and blind guides notably sat in Matthew 23? Haven't they heard grace and truth came by Jesus Christ, and that Jesus stands up-right, till he's told to ascend higher as Christ(is the end of the law), who sitteth in heaven above (higher than the heavens), not stands nor sits in Moses' seat? For Moses' seat is as a poddy seat that he's still sitting on because he shat himself with law, and still refuses to flush his dung, preferring to touch, taste, handle it. Pew! Haven't they heard the higher exhortation to touch not, taste not, handle it not; since by the using of laws all perish, perish the thought?

I don't know exactly what you are asking, but I will say this much:

Though Jesus is higher than Moses and has more authority, Moses

has been exalted and is near Christ in Heaven. Jesus did transcend the law of Moses when He came by saying that burnt offerings were no longer accepted and that divorce was a sin, but He did not put down or attack Moses in anyway. Rather, He scolded men. Jesus exposed the Pharisees, Scribes, and Sadducees as hypocrites and liars. These men would pride themselves on strict obedience to the law of Moses but the majority of them simply went through the motions. Their true intentions were far from good. They completely rejected the authority of Jesus Christ and eventually demanded that Pontius Pilate crucify Him.

Perhaps you have a couple of Bible concepts confused. The "judgment seat of Christ" as discussed in 2 Corinthians 5 refers to the Bema throne where Christ will be sitting. He will judge believers and their works--and that only. Salvation is not in view here, nor the Law, nor anything else--otherwise, Paul would have said so.

Jesus was clearly referring to something in existence in His time that was part of the Jewish economy back then. If I recall, this was the same judgment seat that condemned Him to death!

Wait, wait, wait. Where's your sited scripture? Slow down Pete!

Christ fulfulled the Law. K? And yes, the Mosaic law is obsolete, but fulfilled in one saying: Love your neighbor.

Foolishness. If the law could be set aside, YAHOSHUA need not have died. The Savior's death proves that the law is eternal.

You are so right. The old law was discredited by Jesus himself.
