Question:
Was Mohammed a false prophet?
?
2010-04-26 12:08:19 UTC
in many christian circles the answer is YES
but after learning the doctrine that He was met by Jesus and others by climbing a ladder into heaven, i have my doubts that HE can be written off so easily.
the doctrines that survive today might be false teachings and there are clearly false Islamic teachers teaching abominations, if i understand boobquake correctly and understanding that Some radical terrorists have been taught to be Russian "double agents", it sure seems to me there is plenty of guilt to be had among false muslims worldwide.
if you answer Yes, to mohammed being a false prophet, can you give more than just an opinion or do you KNOW scholastically why he is.
can you defend scholastically that Mohammed was indeed taken up into heaven without death and there met Jesus?

Salaam.

First of all, let me thank you for being so honest as to accept the "possibility" that Islam could be the truth and that Muhammad [saas] was a Prophet.

I would like to direct you to a blog I wrote a while back titled "Proving Islam is Absolute Truth in 15 Minutes." You might find it interesting.

Is Muhammad A False Prophet

Mohammed could not read or write in any language. Introduced to the trade routes by an uncle who took responsibility for him as a child on the streets in Mecca, Mohammed became exposed to the religion of the Jews and Christians. He apparently admired the concept of God, something not known to clans of nomads of his ancestry. He spoke of his ideals, and following his death, smart men found a means to an end. We are living with it.

All prophets are superstitious individuals suffering from delusions. It doesn't matter whether they were from the Bible or the Qur'an. What evidence have you that Mohammed actually climbed a ladder to heaven anywhere but in his feverishly deluded mind?

The same would apply to Ezekiel and Elijah and the rest.

As much as it may cause pain to you Mohammad ibn Abdullah(saw) is not a false Prophet. ( that's too bad for you )

Here's a news flash for you friend and the rest of those who prove very ignorant about their own Bible, Prophet Jesus/Isa (pbuh) according to your Bible said that many will come in his name. Jesus (pbuh) cames in the name of Allah/God.

Jesus spoke of a comforter to come after him in the Bible and who better fits that description than prophet Mohammad((pbuh) ?

Prophet Mohammad(pbuh) came in the name of Allah/God so next time you go to one of your meeting when your preacher says or does anything in Jesus's names bare that verse in mind that I highlighted. Before you try to throw stones around in glass houses
