Question:
I can prove that prayers work?
?

Atheists dont believe prayers work. But if you look at the old testament and new testament, they never pray for material goods or anything like that, atleast i think they dont. Like as a kid i felt kinda stupid praying for a PS2.

Either way the point is i am gonna prove that prayers do work. Atheists expect something to happen like great prophets did like miracles which God granted them, but thats not how every person who prays work like. Basically Jesus was the one who kinda gave everything to us, and thats why the apostolic traditions of apostles and priests have that power more or less. Either way this is how prayers work.

Whenever you go to sleep and pray to god. You feel warmth inside your heart, its not the type of tingly love in general for others or anything, its more inner warmth. So whenever you pray thats the type of power prayers do for you and thars how it works. Islamic prayers feels more like magic because your head gets tingly just like meditation but thats just my opinion.

Either way let me hear what you think?

For more than a YEAR now, I have been asking if ANYONE has a relationship with ANY God or Goddess which meets just FOUR simple criteria:

1. Really exists

2. KNOWS All Things

3. ANSWERS the prayers of Believers

4. CARES whether or not I become a Believer.

So, pray to yours, asking what the serial # of the $1 folded up under my stereo is.

Post whatever number yours reveals to you as a comment to my posting, right here.

If your Imaginary Friend reveals to you the exact number, that's all the evidence I need, that yours IS the Real Deal, and I will enthusiastically join your religion.

What have ANY of you Believers got to lose, by asking?

I can prove that prayers work? Where is your proof?

Atheists don’t believe prayers work. Please check dictionary the meaning of atheist.

But if you look at the old testament and new testament, they never pray for material goods or anything like that, atleast i think they dont. Like as a kid i felt kinda stupid praying for a PS2.

How do you know what people prayed for in those days?

Either way the point is i am gonna prove that prayers do work. Basically Jesus was the one who kinda gave everything to us, and thats why the apostolic traditions of apostles and priests have that power more or less. Either way this is how prayers work.

In this paragraph you sound like that prayer discriminate people and so where the logic is? Please give detail of your so-called understanding of apostles and priests power?

Either way this is how prayers work.

One minute you sound prayer discriminate people and the next minute you say either way prayer work and so what is your message and where is your proof to support your question?

You are there with the intention to explain Christian prayer but all of a sudden without logic you have jumped to Islamic prayer and your point is?

As for your tingly love and warmth. Is love tingly? Do you mean if one doesn’t pray then the body will be in kind of hyperthermia.

People don’t believe in God it is simply because those who claim God exists insist not to provide proof. If you want more people to believe in God then certainly you have to be willingly providing proof. As simple as that.

BTW Tingly means painful.

~~~ Out of the mouths of those who, just a short time ago, resided in their dad's testicles!
You can 'prove' what no one else has ever been able to do!
Enjoy the know-it-all years while you can! *__-
~~~ One of the few things that the bible gets right is to NEVER 'believe' your 'thoughts' or 'feelings'!!

That 'feelings'... all means absolutely nothing, 'spiritually'.

You delude your vain self...

Feelings and thought/imagination is vanity, ego!

Believing them is insanity!

A lot of Christians believe that prayers actually DO something outside their heads. So your personal opinion that it does something inside your head (which is probably correct) doesn't say they WORK.

Thing is, the only people who feel that warmth are the ones that, like you, already think they're GOING to feel warmth. That's called a self-fulfilling prophecy. You believe it's going to happen, so you make yourself feel it. It doesn't prove that prayer works.

Okay, so prayer 'works' in that it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling. So can other things, such as meditation. That does not constitute evidence that any god exists.

You don't understand questions do you? Do you mean "Can I prove that prayers work?"

I've read the question a couple of times. All I've seen is that the act of praying makes the person who's praying feel good. Haven't found any actual proof, though.

Do you know what "proof" actually means?

So your proof is basically just saying prayer works.

No, it's been proven that prayers don't work, due to all the famous people who have died anyway when people were praying for them. Of cancer, or in a space shuttle crash, or whatever.

Praying does not work on things you cannot directly control, or things that don't happen by change. You will have the same effect praying to a monkey or your cat

"You feel warmth inside your heart"

"thats the type of power prayers do for you"

So prayer is completely useless. Gotcha.

"thats just my opinion."

That is all religions are. But your weak link is that reality does not care about what you want to be true.

You can always try this beautiful PRAYER from the Bible, Psalm 109

6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.

8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.

10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.

11 Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.

12 Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.

13 Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.

14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the Lord; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

15 Let them be before the Lord continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.

16 Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.

17 As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.

18 As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.

19 Let it be unto him as the garment which covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.

20 Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the Lord, and of them that speak evil against my soul.

Cool, huh? The Religion of Love. 😏

So basically praying to your god and praying to me will have the same effect.

Not sure why you claim it "works". But sure, feel free to pray to me whenever you want a tingly feeling.

Your opinion is not evidence for the efficacy of prayers.
