I recently had a massage and my therapist used Reiki to "heal" my body. It worked! I left feeling loved and healed and she suggested I do self-healing. So I did some research and realized that I need to believe in the Christian God and in Jesus to use. I am athiest. Is there a way I can still use Reiki for self-healing?

No. For Jews, the belief that God would become human is the ultimate heresy. However, Judaism is unique among the world’s religions in that it claims no copyright on, or exclusivity to, truth. It does not denounce other faiths as misguided or heretical. It is adamant that there are many paths to the one God. Judaism is a path, not the path. There is no one way. There is no one great truth, but rather a series of truths possessed by each nation that, when brought together, creates the truth. And this is what makes every nation indispensable. Jews, Christians, and Muslims could learn much from one another if they would only just stop and listen. As long as any religion leads to humility and worship of the one God, to passionate religious rituals and compassion and loving-kindness, then it has created a legitimate path to the source of the universe.

I've never seen any association between Reiki and Christianity. It originated in Japan, didn't it? Or at least the terminology did. My mom is a Reiki practitioner, and she's not really Christian, (though my dad is both). I use Reiki, and I'm definitely not Christian.

If anything, I'd think it more New Age.

reiki has nothing to do with your religion.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Reiki 'healing' demonstrably does not work.

No, you can't.

And neither can anyone else, because "Reiki" is proven-worthless nonsense.

You got a good massage -- you didn't get magic.

Don't be ridiculous.

Yes it will work my friend. You don't have to be religious for it, just spiritual :)

I would say that's up to you, but you're the one questioning it.
