At 16 you may think you are gay. The best way to find out if you are truly gay is to have a go at it with a hot sexy female. Most times at 16 we are not sure of what we really want unless we have a taste of both. Sometimes we choose what is the easiest and most convenient for us because the other way seems to complicated and difficult to attain. So don't limit yourself, you never know what you can do until you've tried.

My friend has been having similar issues, although shes older. My best advice I can give you is that your feelings are valid and to find a way to let out your frustrations, talk to a school counselor or friend, paint or draw or write songs. Hang in there, you are loved and you will find your happily ever after just like anyone else as cheesy as that sounds haha. Your parents may come around, it will just take time.

Be obedient to your parents. Get a good education, a job and move away and get your own place to live and do what you want. But as long as you need them to support you be obedient and look to the future and get away from your parents and be free to do what ever you want to do with your life. Until you can do that even Jesus remained subject to his parents until he was 30 years old.

They may be thinking of the verses below. Please notice verse 11. They are your parents, they are thinking of your welfare after all. When it comes to family, emotions get heated. You may see them as being hateful while they see it as being loving. You are only 16 after all and they have life's experience behind them.

(1 Corinthians 6:9-11) Or do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Do not be misled. Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality, 10 thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom. 11 And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean; you have been sanctified; you have been declared righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.

Leave your hateful parents to think what they want to think. Put up with it for now. Ultimately it's your life and we do not choose to be gay- we are what we are. Your hateful parents will either accept you for who you are or won't. Don't try to change their opinion and certainly don't try to change yourself- be yourself and live happily.

However they try they cannot change what you are. I would suggest that until you are able to leave home ,you do not confront them, after all you currently depend on their support. You could however contact a LGBT support group which will help you through your troubles.

Get a grip. You are only sixteen. Mick Jagger could be your great grand daddy and he is still expressing his sexuality. It won't dry up and blow away before you are 18.

If your school has a club for gay youth, join it. You won't be worried about getting anyone pregnant, but there are some nasty diseases out there you need to know about before you start expressing yourself as you wish.

Find a lawyer and become legally emancipated.

And find a LGBT support group near you, you're going to need some friends.

You should tolerate it as best as you can until you're in a position to leave home and your hateful parents behind.

Move out, if you can get a job save up every penny until you can move out, we're all human and forcing someone to suppress their sexuality because they think it's 'wrong' is against human rights and you don't deserve that abuse (for lack of a better word)

at 16 years old your parents would be supressing your sexuality if you were straight or gay. makes no difference

a parent of a 16 year old is definately going to be working hard at supressing their sexuality. its part of the job description as a parent

It means your parents actually love you and want you to succeed in life. dumbass

The parents who dont do that to their teenaged children, just let them do whatever the hell they want, and dont give a sht at all about their children..

as long as you under their roof then you follow their rules , and if you don't like it then you free to leave the house and find a job and start being independent and sweat for your own food and shelter ... it's not even about them being homophobic you live off them so you need to follow their rules like it or not .

Consider the long term affects of what this fleeting sex experiment is doing. Have you considered you are becoming diseased and dying a painful death?

If you are a young christian, and want to do God's will. Please remember. The Bible is a precious gift from God. It is like a letter from a loving father to his children. It tells us the truth about God—who he is and what he stands for. It explains how to cope with problems and how to find true happiness. The Bible alone tells us what we must do to please God.—Psalm 1:1-3; Isaiah 48:17, 18. You can approach God in prayer concerning your own plague and your own pain,’ your individual distresses. You can be comforted in knowing that God understands your distresses and that he cares about you. The apostle Peter confirmed this when he said: “Throw all your anxiety upon God, because he cares for you.” (1 Pet. 5:7) It matters to God what happens to you. Jesus emphasized God’s loving care, saying: “Do not two sparrows sell for a coin of small value? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s knowledge. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore have no fear: you are worth more than many sparrows.”—Matt. 10:29-31. You can certainly be assured that God is willing and able to assist you when you are afflicted with distresses. “God is for you a refuge and strength, a help that is readily to be found during distresses.” (Ps. 34:15-18; 46:1) 1 Corinthians 10:13 says: “God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for you to be able to endure it.” God may maneuver matters to remove your adversity, or he may give you the strength you need to endure it. Either way, you are helped.

But you must remember (Galatians 6:5) Each one will carry his own load. (Galatians 6:7-9) Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a person is sowing, this he will also reap;  because the one sowing with a view to his flesh will reap corruption from his flesh, but the one sowing with a view to the spirit will reap everlasting life from the spirit.  So let us not give up in doing what is fine, for in due time we will reap if we do not tire out. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11) Do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Do not be misled. Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality,   will not inherit God’s Kingdom.  And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean; you have been sanctified; you have been declared righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God. Please enjoyed studying your Bible and personal prayer to your Grand Creator and Grand Instructor Almighty God.

Perhaps some day you can say as (Psalm 103:2-5) Let me praise God; May I never forget all that he has done.   He forgives all your errors And heals all your ailments;   He reclaims your life from the pit And crowns you with his loyal love and mercy.   He satisfies you with good things all your life, So that your youth is renewed like that of an eagle.

As with all of us who run a foul with our family members and even our neighbors, you must choose to hate them or forgive them, to bless them or curse them.

Hope that helps.

It seems your parents have to learn a lot about their own faith, otherwise they wouldn't know what's necessary to help you by your problem.
