Because the Quran contradicts the Bible. Now on its face, that statement would seem to indicate that it should be a 50/50 choice between the two. But it actually favours the Bible.



The Quran acknowledges that many of the prophets in the Bible were genuine prophets. So the Quran acknowledges that the Word of God can be corrupted, which means that in theory the Quran can be corrupted too. If Muslims can look down on the modern Christian gospels, and claim that the Gospels are mistaken about Jesus being crucified, then why can't Bahais look down on the Quran and say that it was mistaken about Muhammad being the last prophet?

I made the mistake of taking an Egyptian Muslim boyfriend some years back. I had to keep my eyes pointed to the ground whenever we were outside, my hair and all skin covered up with clothes; although not a burqa, I have to say that. Tell me, how do you support something that you know expressly contradicts itself in this manner? Not just as a matter of belief, but as a matter of policy, since according to your religion God and Caesar are to be one and the same, and a necessary adjunct of one another (meaning, the implementation of Sharia law is a religious necessity of any believer [i.e., you do not practice a religion that believes in privatizing belief]).

Why is there no Passover lamb in Islam for the Exodus from Egypt?

The Passover lamb foreshadows the true Passover Lamb, Jesus. Why is there Ishmael being offered to God rather than Isaac in Islam? To take away from God fulfilling His promise to Abraham for Isaac was the child of promise, not Ishmael.

In Islam, Jesus did not die on the cross. Why? Satan does not want Muslims to know that it is through the blood of Jesus that our sins are removed. God used physical Israel to foreshadow what will happen to spiritual Israel (believers). One foreshadowing fulfilled by Jesus is the Passover Lamb.



The Passover lamb died on the 14th of Nisan. Its' blood was placed on the door frames of the Israelites homes to protect the Israelites from the angel of death and the plague of the first born males. Those that had faith that the blood of the lamb would save them (the Israelites) were protected from physical death. The Egyptians, who did not have faith in the blood, died. No bones were to be broken on the Passover lamb.



Jesus, the true Passover Lamb, died on the 14th of Nisan. Those who have faith in the blood of Jesus to save them will be spared of spiritual death. Those who do not believe will suffer spiritual death/eternal torment in the lake of fire. No bones were broken on Jesus.



One foreshadowing you may not have known of is the names of the first ten descendants/genealogy of Jesus.

Look at the genealogy from Adam to Noah.

God always rewards the diligent student. Let us examine this chapter more closely. In our Bible, we read the Hebrew names. What do these names mean in English?

There is the good news of Jesus in the genealogy from Adam to Noah.



So there is proof that Jesus is the Son of God from the Tanakh/Old Testament which was written hundreds of years before the birth of Jesus.

If one does even a little research, they will see that the crescent moon and star symbol is not associated with the true God but with pagan gods (demons). If all Muslims were to read their Quran, they would see what's really in there and many of them would leave!



According to Islam’s scriptures, Muhammad had sex with a NINE YEAR OLD girl. He also got caught cheating on his wife with his slave girl, claimed he got a revelation from God to take his adopted son’s wife, told his followers to have only 4 wives while he had 9 wives. Did I mention he had sex with a nine year old girl? Jesus says:

THE TRUE GOD SUPPORTS EQUALITY BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN (GALATIANS 3:28). Both women and men believers in Christ are kings and priests unto God (Revelation 1:6). The Quran says that women are stupid and inferior to men. The Quran says a woman's testimony is worth half of a man's ( Sura 2:282), women are inferior to men (Sura 2:228; Sura 4:34), women are to get half of a man's share of inheritance (Sura 4:11) and husbands should beat their wives if they do not obey them (Qur'an 4:34; Qur'an 38:44).



According to Islamic law, a husband may beat his wife for any one of these 4 reasons:



She does not attempt to make herself beautiful for him (i.e. "lets herself go")

She refuses to meet his sexual demands

She leaves the house without his permission or for a "legitimate reason"

She neglects her religious duties



ISLAMIC SCRIPTURES THAT PROMOTE WIFE BEATING:



Quran (4:34) - "Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great." Contemporary translations sometimes water down the word 'beat', but it is the same one used in verse 8:12and clearly means 'to strike'.



Quran (38:44) - "And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with it, and do not break your oath..." Allah telling Job to beat his wife (Tafsir).



Bukhari (72:715) - A woman came to Muhammad and begged him to stop her husband from beating her. Her skin was bruised so badly that it is described as being "greener" than the green veil she was wearing. Muhammad did not admonish her husband, but instead ordered her to return to him and submit to his sexual desires.



Bukhari (72:715) - "Aisha said, 'I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women'" Muhammad's own wife complained of the abuse that the women of her religion suffered relative to other women.



Muslim (4:2127) - Muhammad struck his favorite wife, Aisha, in the chest one evening when she left the house without his permission. Aisha narrates, "He struck me on the chest which caused me pain."



Muslim (9:3506) - Muhammad's fathers-in-law (Abu Bakr and Umar) amused him by slapping his wives (Aisha and Hafsa) for annoying him. According to the Hadith, the prophet of Islam laughed upon hearing this.



Abu Dawud (2141) - "Iyas bin ‘Abd Allah bin Abi Dhubab reported the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) as saying: Do not beat Allah’s handmaidens, but when ‘Umar came to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) and said: Women have become emboldened towards their husbands, he (the Prophet) gave permission to beat them." At first, Muhammad forbade men from beating their wives, but he rescinded this once it was reported that women were becoming emboldened toward their husbands. Beatings in a Muslim marriage are sometimes necessary to keep women in their place.



Abu Dawud (2142) - "The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A man will not be asked as to why he beat his wife."



Abu Dawud (2126) - "A man from the Ansar called Basrah said: 'I married a virgin woman in her veil. When I entered upon her, I found her pregnant. (I mentioned this to the Prophet).' The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: 'She will get the dower, for you made her vagina lawful for you. The child will be your slave. When she has begotten (a child), flog her'" A Muslim thinks he is getting a virgin, then finds out that she is pregnant. Muhammad tells him to treat the woman as a sex slave and then flog her after she delivers the child.



Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 969 - Requires that a married woman be "put in a separate room and beaten lightly" if she "act in a sexual manner toward others." According to the Hadith, this can be for an offense as petty as merely being alone with a man to whom she is not related.



JESUS TAUGHT US TO LOVE AND BLESS ONE ANOTHER EVEN THOSE WHO PERSECUTE US. ISLAM COMMANDS MUSLIMS TO HARM AND KILL NON-MUSLIMS:



The Qur'an says: "Fight and slay the pagans [Christians] wherever ye find them and seize them, confine them, and lie in wait for them in every place of ambush" (Surah 9:5)



Hadith 9:4 "Wherever you find infidels kill them; for whoever kills them shall have reward on the Day of Resurrection."

The truth about Jesus Christ can be found only in the Holy Bible. Three days after the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, He resurrected from the dead (Luke 24:1-8; Acts 10:40; 1 Corinthians 15:4) and 40 days later, He ascended into Heaven (Acts 1:3; Luke 24:50-53; Acts 1:9-11).



Without God, the spiritual part of the human being is dead (Ephesians 2:5, Colossians 2:13). The sin of our first parents (Adam and Eve) caused the separation between God and man. Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Sin causes us to be separated from God which results in spiritual death. Christ, the 2nd Person of the Triune Godhead was made flesh (through the immaculate conception) and paid the price for our sins by dying on the cross so we could through faith in Christ as our Saviour be instantly redeemed and united to God and have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who teaches us, comforts us and grants us fruits to live in righteousness and gifts to help and edify the Church. There is no redemption or unity to God apart from receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as one’s Saviour and Lord.



REDEMPTION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH



Because mankind is incapable of meeting God’s standard of perfection necessary to abide in God’s presence (Romans 3:19-20,23), God sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the total debt for the believer’s sins and mercifully credits to his account Christ’s righteousness (Romans 3:21-28,5:1-11; 2 Corinthians 5:18-21). Jesus’ gracious act of atonement was complete and covers all sin (Colossians 2:13-14; 1 John 1:9). Salvation is not based on good deeds but according to the mercy of God (Titus 3:4-5). Believers are justified by faith; it is a gift by God’s grace (Romans 4:3-8; Ephesians 2:8-9). A true, living faith will result in a desire to live a holy, loving life of good works (Ephesians 2:10; Galatians 5:6; James 2:14-26), but failure to be absolutely successful at righteous living does not negate the believer’s justified status.



If you sincerely say this prayer, your sins will be washed away, you will be redeemed to God, be saved from eternal torment and inherit the Kingdom of God:
