Kundhi Devi got boon from Sage Durvasa for her hospitality to him while he stayed in the palace of Kundhibojan father of Kundhi Devi. The boon is this..'if you use this manthra in memory of any Devatha, he will come and grant you a child'. just for joke she used in thinking of the sun God, surya, she got a child from sun God. she feared and let the child in the river...the story goes. The child is Karna. ok. Kundhi Devi later married the king Pandu. He also married Maathri, the daughter of the madhyapradesh king. The king pandu arrowed a pair of deer and the pair of deer were the sage kindhama and his wife. The sage in anger cursed the king pandu not to join his wives, if he join, he will die.
so, pandu has no chance to join his wives. if so, how Dharma, Beema, Arjun, nakul, sahadeva born to kundhi devi. can you please explain me. i am having full faith in hindu traditions and cultures. i want my doubts to be cleared. i am having unshakale faith in the great epics.

Kunti devi had received 4 mantras from Sage Durvasa, one of which was for lord Surya, and as you have already said, Karna was born by reciting the mantra of Surya deva. The other 3 mantras were of Dharma,Pawan deva,Indra deva. By reciting these mantras, Yudhisthir was born as the son of Dharma, Bheem as the son of Pawan deva and Arjun of Indra deva. Nakul and Sahadeva were sons of Madree, they too were the incarnations of Ashwinikumars.

Later on, Kunti married Prince Pandu of Hastinapura. He took a second wife Madri, but was unable to father children due to a Rishi's curse. Once, when Pandu was on a hunting excursion, (looking from a long distance, his vision partially obscured by plants and trees) he mistook a sage (Rishi Kindama) and his wife for deer and shot an arrow at them, killing the conjugal couple. The dying sage cursed Pandu that as he had killed them in their moment of union, the moment he unites with a woman will be his last. Grief-stricken, he decided to abandon palace life for doing penance and proceeds to the forest with his wives, to live in self-imposed exile. Then, when the erstwhile king expresses concerns about dying childless, Kunti revealed her secret mantra. She used it three times, first receiving a son, Yudishtira, from the god Dharma, then Bhima from the god Vayu, and thirdly Arjuna, from the god Indra. Kunti revealed the mantra to Madri, who bore twin sons, Nakula and Sahadeva, from the twin gods the Asvins. The five together are known as the Pandavas.

After the death of Pandu and Madri, Kunti was left to tend for all five sons. After the great battle of Kurukshetra and in her old age, she goes in exile to the forest, with her brothers-in-law Dhritarashtra and Vidura, and Dhritarashtra's wife Gandhari where they die together in a forest fire

Maharaj Pandu had 2 wives - Kunti and Madri.

Kunti Devi had got a Siddha Mantra from Rishi Durvasa, by which she can please any Devata and get a boon from that Devata.

She got 3 sons for her and then 2 sons for Madri Devi.

Her son Karn was before her marriage from Surya Dev. It happened in curiosity just to check the power of the Mantra.

Mother Kunti Devi's sons :

Karn : from Surya Dev (Before Marriage)

Yudhishthir : from Dharm Raj

Bhim Sen : From Pavan Dev

Arjun : from Indra Dev

Mother Madri Devi's Sons :

Nakul + Sahdev : from Ashwini Kumars'
