No, because they don't care why, they just care about perpetuating their unsupported dogma.
@ Flavius...
Either you're a troll or you are dangerously deluded and/or crazy as hell to believe any of that conspiracy bullsh!t

I guess not. It's definitely not taught at universities because it isn't actual science. If it were true, I could get a degree in astrology or numerology. Turns out you don't need a degree to make **** up.
But some unis do teach chiropractor even though there is no scientific evidence that it helps at all and claims to cure everything under the sun. (in fact it can be extremely harmful, there have been cases of where babies' necks have been broken, strokes or even death as a result of Chiropractic treatment)

The educational system and science systems are self policing. Any one who does not agree with the majority point of view is black balled! It happened go Galileo and it happens today. It is just that now the Pope does not get into the picture.
Science is its own worst enemy!
Education is about indoctrination more then anything else- if you don't agree with the teacher you fail. So any one who is capable of original thought is weeded out by the process. It is a self generating, self justification process!
Thank you for your question- it gave me a chance to tell everyone that the education system only educates those who can not or will not learn to think.

Most Christians have no desire whatsoever to have a bitter snarky science teacher trying to teach their kids religion, we know thats OUR job.
You need to get that "the squeaky wheel" of any group RARELY represents the beliefs of the bulk of that group. Most of us are a little more sane and relaxed. I dont think acknowledging that there are varying beliefs about creation exist is a bad idea tho.
But, when in science, expect a science perspective.

Because most of them don't understand the basis for what makes something science. Also incredible arrogance to thing their own creation myth is somehow factual and the thousands of other creation myths are wrong.

You are asking creationist to think logically. That would require that they had a brain in the first place. In order to become a creationist you first have to have your brain removed. Creationist should be put in jail. Academic dishonestly and stupidity should be a crime.

I doubt it, because of some of the answers on here...
Certain responses don't take into account the lack of evidence behind creationism.

"President" Obama is using science in schools to peddle a dark and evil agenda: atheism. Science was once used to cure diseases and make advances in technology but these days it's being used as a tool for atheists to propagate their agenda. The #1 agenda of "scientists" currently is to disprove the existence of God and make Jurassic Park the movie a reality. As Christians, we know for a fact that dinosaurs never existed since the Earth is only 6000 years old (recorded human history proves this!) but atheist activists (aka "scientists") are using so called dinosaur fossils to counter this fact. And our children are now being force fed these lies in Obama's indoctrination camps ("schools")! Please sign this petition if you believe that creationist facts should be taught to our children and "science" eradicated from schools.

I think Creationism should be taught as history but evolution has no place in a science classroom.

Well, clearly Satan is working his evil magicks to keep such a well-defined and educated theory out of classrooms. It's the only explanation.
