There is only one Bible and one message. A merciful God would make sure that every generation will have the opportunity to know his message of salvation and reconciliation.

In our day the most accurate Bible with which we must compare our translations and versions, is the collection of the earliest and best-documented manuscripts of the Hebrew Scriptures and the Christian Greek Scriptures.

Only those books of the Hebrew Scriptures that are currently divided into 39 books have documentation that they were written by the inspired men who got their message from God. The 27 books of the Christian Greek Scriptures were written in the first century by Jesus' apostles and disciples, and who lived when Jesus lived, and they also attest to the fact that their words came from God.

Books and additions that originated from times later than their lifetimes are not inspired. Books that were written later which say that they were inspired of God did not come from God.

If our translation deviates from these 66 books, then those deviations came from humans, and are not inspired. We can translate into different languages, but those translations must be in harmony with the earliest manuscripts.

Those individuals who, because of the wickedness of this world, have not heard God's message, will be given the opportunity in the resurrection, because of Jesus Christ. John 5:28-29; Isaiah 26:9-10

The true God is merciful and looks after those who are his own.

Isaiah said, "the word of our God will endure forever." Isaiah 40:8

Jesus said to search the scriptures, for they bear witness of him. Paul wrote do not go beyond the things that are written, because what do we have that we did not receive? He also wrote that if we or an angel from heaven gave another good news other than what has already been given, let him be accursed.

Denominations tend to divide the Body of Christ because of doctrinal differences. When the divisions are based in unscriptural human "wisdom," then one might question if that denomination is still "Christian."

because Satan has hidden the truth in many false religions. So they make it sound like you go to heaven or hell. When that is not what the bible says.

(Psalm 37:9-11) For evil men will be done away with, But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth. 10 Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there. 11 But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

(Psalm 37:29) The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.

Many interpretations from many opinions. How many lines can you draw through a single point? An infinite amount. How many lines can you draw through two points. Only one. Therefore Jesus always taught that by the mouth of two or more witnesses shall all things be established. There is a second witness of Christ besides the Bible. It is called the Book or Mormon. It is scripture and supports the Bible in every respect. It is the story of a branch of Israel that was separated from Palestine and kept a separate record. That record was brought to light in 1829 by direct revelation and inspiration allowing Joseph Smith to receive and translate the ancient record for our day. This is the last dispensation of the gospel prior to Christ's second coming and this record was needed to establish the Bible and point out the only true interpretation of it. Give it a try. Check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

No, all religions are not the same. The Bible contains many examples of religions that displease God. These fall into two basic categories.

Category 1: Worshipping false gods

The Bible describes the worship of false gods with such terms as “delusion,” “futility,” and “useless.” (Jeremiah 10:3-5; 16:19, 20) Jehovah * God commanded the ancient nation of Israel: “You must not have any other gods besides me.” (Exodus 20:3, 23; 23:24) When the Israelites worshipped other gods, “Jehovah became enraged.”—Numbers 25:3; Leviticus 20:2; Judges 2:13, 14.

God still has the same attitude toward the worship of such “so-called gods.” (1 Corinthians 8:5, 6; Galatians 4:8) He commands those who want to worship him to stop associating with those who practice false religion, saying: “Get out from among them, and separate yourselves.” (2 Corinthians 6:14-17) If all religions are the same and lead people to God, then why would God give such a command?

Category 2: Worshipping the true God in a way he does not approve

At times, the Israelites worshipped God using beliefs and practices borrowed from the worship of false gods, but Jehovah rejected this attempt to mix true religion with false. (Exodus 32:8; Deuteronomy 12:2-4) Jesus condemned the religious leaders of his day because of the way they worshipped God; they made an outward show of being religious, yet they hypocritically “disregarded the weightier matters of the Law, namely, justice and mercy and faithfulness.”—Matthew 23:23.

Likewise today, only religion that is based on truth leads people to God. This truth is found in the Bible. (John 4:24; 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17) Religions whose teachings conflict with the Bible actually steer people away from God. Many teachings that people think come from the Bible—including the Trinity, the immortal soul, and eternal torment—were borrowed from those who worshipped false gods. Worship that promotes such teachings is “in vain,” or useless, because it replaces God’s requirements with religious traditions.—Mark 7:7, 8.

God detests religious hypocrisy. (Titus 1:16) To help people draw closer to God, a religion must affect their everyday lives and not just consist of rituals or formalities. For example, the Bible says: “If any man thinks he is religious but does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he is deceiving his own heart, and his worship is futile. The religion that is clean and undefiled from the standpoint of our God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their tribulation, and to keep oneself without spot from the world.” (James 1:26, 27; footnotes) The King James Version uses the expression “pure religion” for this clean, unhypocritical worship.

Only one religion recognizes only the Bible as its sacred scriptures -- Christianity. There are many sad divisions, and much disagreement over what the apostolic writings mean and what the Apostles taught -- but if they recognize and honor the crucifixion and resurrection of the God-man Jesus Christ as the scriptures say, then they are Christian.

Now, your question could be taken entirely differently. Since there is only one Bible, why are there so many religions? Because much of the world -- the Nonchristian part -- does not accept the truth of the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ Jesus as told in the Bible. They have not come to the True Faith, and remain outside Christianity.

"ONLY" ONE BIBLE .. the word BIBLE means "BOOK " per ETYMOLOGY from the 13c. referring to ANY LARGE BOOK ( actually there are 30 VERSIONS of the HOLY BIBLE in PRINT today )

from early 14c. ANGLO-LATIN " bibli" old french "bible" now there is the terms "BIBLIA SACRA " or HOLY BOOK translated from Greek the Latin word is from GREEK " BIBLION" meaning paper or scroll also the ordinary word for a BOOK sectioned as in of a LARGER work

the HOLY BIBLE is a collection of 66 BOOKS the Christendom scriptures were refereed to in GREEK language as BIBLIA since 323 AD.. CONSTANTINE a newly appointed REGENT of the ROMAN EMPIRE ( had 3 rulers or regent Emperors Constantine got the region of TURKEY and surrounding area and directed the Councils of Nicaea ( TURKEY ) to combine scriptures or writing to form the larger BOOK the Holy Bible by the religious leaders and promoters of the day some 300 there were other council that took place in MILAN Italy resulting in the APOSTLES CREED a statement of " BELIEFS "

. TODAY there are some 30 VERSIONS of Christendom scriptures and each adopted by various denominations ...

. there are MANY RELIGIONS as there are many CULTURES and civilizations that EXISTED PRIOR to Christendom which EVOLVED from JUDAISM Ancient Egyptian RELIGION which is actually called KEMETISM has a Long existence prior to 3500 BC

HINDISM the word HINDU actually evolved as a reference to people who LIVED on the other side of the INDUS RIVER ..

.. the word HEBREW is suspected as evolving from the word "EBER" related to the REGION means ONE FROM the OTHER SIDE referring to people from the EUPHRATES RIVER

or EBHER meaning IMMIGRANT.. or ONE WHO CROSSED OVER

some use the reference as possibly referring to going from POLYTHEISM to MONOTHEISM . as in ONE WHO WRESTLES with GOD ISRAEL " EL " meaning god there is NO evidence of a Hebrew alphabet or writing prior to 1000 BC so what language did a MOSES write in ? he is dated to 1300 BC

the English word "GOD" is actually from GERMAN "Guthan" "Gott" GHUT to invoke and root "gheu" to CALL

the dead sea scrolls are dated to possibly 250 BC to 70 AD the oldest existing somewhat complete HEBREW TEXT to date to the ALEPPO CODEX c.920 CE

here is the simplicity of Etymology like the word INDUS add an H ( human ) = HINDU the "H" was restored to EBHER in ENGLISH in 16 c. = HEBHER or HEBREW .

the word HUMAN is from "dhghem " meaning EARTH (LY ) the word ADAM is from the Hebrew word MAN related to the Hebrew word "adamah " which means "GROUND" ...

a phrase HUMAN BEING has a root in old English word "guma" that survives disguised in the word BRIDEGROOM

. you can get a clearer picture of HISTORY when you study origin of words

... Christendom's BIBLE is the combination of HEBREW scripture OT and the NT

There are Roman religions Chinese Greek Japanese ancestor worship African religion Buddhism Hinduism Taoism Confucianism . RELIGION is Not THEISM

theism is a SINGLE Proposition of a GOD .... a Religions may have no God concept or have a god concept but also OTHER concepts or MULTIPLE CONCEPTS man gods demi gods from the range of non material places beings states supernatural and transcendental and spiritual

SOUL SPIRITS ANGEL DEMON HEAVEN HELL SATAN REBIRTH REBORN REINCARNATE RESURRECTION AFTERLIFE ETERNITY EXTINCTION

.. RELIGIONS have many ELEMENTS that make it a religion one is their TEXT or Doctrine .. and all are NOT THEISTIC but all have come elements or concepts of SUPERNATURAL or TRANSCENDENTAL or spiritual

the definition sociology and archeology uses is

RELIGION is a CULTURAL SYSTEM of directed or designated BEHAVIORS and practices world view TEXT ETHICS prophecies Sacred places of organizations that relate humanity to SUPERNATURAL & TRANSCENDENTAL or SPIRITUAL elements

Because that's the way God designed it I've spoken on this subject many a Time many people despise the Bible they despise the god of the Bible but there is absolutely nothing that these people can do about it and that eats them alive. But the one thing that all Christian religions have in common they all hold the word of God to be sacred they all believe in the one true God Jehovah and they do their best to honor Jesus Christ although they have their variations on how to do it

Some have said that the various religions all represent different ways of presenting religious truth. But a comparison of their teachings and practices with the Bible indicates, rather, that the diversity of religions is because people have become followers of men instead of listening to God.

It's because only one religion

- namely: Christianity

considers the Bible to be a or the Holy Book.

Other religions either ignore the Bible or, in the case of a very few (e.g. Islam), teach that it is flawed and untrustworthy.

The bible is God s true word. It stands out from all other "books" for many reasons. Unlike other "bibles", the original bible teaches ALL of the Christian doctrines important to Christians. It teaches the deity of Christ (who is the son of God), it teaches about Christ s death on the cross and his resurrection, and the Holy trinity (Father, son, and Holy Spirit), as well as the virgin birth of Christ. In other "bibles", Jesus is depicted as either an angel or just a respected teacher, which is the opposite of what the bible says. The book of Galations states any gospel other than what is taught by Christ himself is known as "the other gospel" and is strongly condemned. Other religions have popped up because many deny Christ and God and all that he has taught in the bible. Many don t believe in Hell or in any punishment for sin, and other religions often teach that we "don t need to be saved". But we do, and that is what Christ did. He died for us for our sin so we wouldn t have to face the horrible punishment later. All we have to do is accept him by faith alone and not by our works or the law which alone won t save us. If we follow any other "religion" we are only sealing our eternal doom, and that s not what God wants for us.

The Christian religion is based upon the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. We managed quite well for decades with no Bible. The final decision as to which writings should be included in the canon of Christian scripture was not made until well into the second century.

It was not until the Reformation that the Bible took on its current significance for the Protestant Churches. Luther rejected the Magisterium claimed by the Catholic and Orthodox Churches but needed some other authority for his religion. He came up with the idea of Biblical justification. Since there are thousands of ways of interpreting the Bible, there are thousands of Protestant sects all claiming to be the true Church of Christ. Unfortunately for Luther, there's no Biblical justification for Biblical justification.

There is more money in it that way.

Remember, the sole purpose of religion is to control people and take money from them by means of fraud.

There is nothing so profitable as selling nothing for large sums of cash nobody can trace.

But you are actually assuming the opposite yourself !!! That the Bible should be the standard of the religion, but both Judaism and Christianity say the opposite; The Church or Temple is first always and the Scriptures only get their authority from them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a logic-lover, these kinds of questions intrigue me. You assume the opposite of what you actually think you assume. Fascinating.
