I think my mom is trying to make me remember that tomorrow is the day

She's been dropping "hints" all day.

Problem: I didn't buy anything for her yet =O

Hey Bosco, my friend.

I'm in a similar situation as you but my Mom never asks for anything-- in fact she discourages me getting anything :P

I'll give her a hug even though that's more of a gift for me

I'll call my mom, grandma, mother-in-law, step-mother-in-law and grandma-in-law but since my hubby is in the Persian Gulf with the Navy, I'm on my own for Mother's Day here so I've invited other "Navy Mother's Day Singles" over for dinner to let the kids play and we can socialize and give my friends a break from at least one meal that day.

Well, we all ate dim sum today to celebrate Mother's Day...the reason today is because tomorrow all the Chinese restaurants in the noon will be utter madness! There will be swarms of people eating out...so we ate out today.

Tomorrow, we're staying at home and cooking dinner for my mum :)...my siblings and I are getting her a gift later because she can't decide what she wants for now.

I hope you find something for your mum soon. Good luck! Have a Happy Mother's Day!

I did a couple special things for my Mom on Sat and have a gift for her tomorrow [sunday schedules being what they are - I won't have a chance to do dinner with her tomorrow - so, we're going to do lunch later in the week too].

And, I should mention my hubby and sons are spoiling me rotten!

My son and his wife, in Texas had some flowers delivered to me. I live in TN.

My daughter in TX. will call me and wish me a Happy's Mothers Day!

I don't know what my daughter and her fiance have planned or my other son and his wife that lives here close by have planned for me. But, more than likely they will all want to take me to Ryans Restaurant or Red Lobster or out to eat somewhere. I am Happy with whatever they do or don't do.is

Just telling me "Happy Mother's Day" is enough for me!

If you have money it is nice to get her a card or a gift, but if you don't she will understand! She will be happy!

As a mom I get to sleep in, as promised by my kids, until 8:00 am. Then my special day ends and my real one begins. I plan on attending church, where I will get to hear the children's group(primary) sing songs to their Moms. Then it's back home to cook BBQ chicken with all the fixings for dinner.

My brother, myself, and my sister-in-law are having a party for our moms tomorrow evening.

It's gonna be fun.

I just got a check, but not in time to get my mom something, so I'll have to wait until Monday.

Get up, breakfast etc.

Headed over to my mom's later for dinner. My dad, husband, brother and his fiancee are cooking and cleaning up (my mom and I ususally do that).

We will do presents, etc and enjoy each other.

How about a spa day for you and mom to do together? I bet she would love to do that with you.

My Mom died in 1986. I sent my Stepmom a gift and will call her tomorrow. Otherwise I'm going to weed the yard and relax.. I'm not a Mom myself.

LOL. dont you just LOVE it when they drop hints? its like... GOSh, I get it already. But then you try and say 'its okay, mom... I havent forgotten you...' shes all like 'what? no... I uh... I didnt think you forgot about me... I havent really thought much about mothers day at all!'

suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure....

Im making dinner for her, and we are renting her favorite romantic comedy. lol

Not to mention all the gift giving and stuff... I got her a bracelet. I would have gotten her something else... but one of her 'hints' was that she wanted that bracelet... so, I got it for her. lol

Wish your mom a happy mothers day for me!

God Bless!

Make her something.

My sister's going through a lot of family problems, so she and her son will be joining us...just a family dinner and giving her and my mother a couple gifts.

My husband and daughter are taking me to a great brunch, and then later in the day we will go see my mother, and all my numerous siblings will be there.

when you wake up, the first thing you should do is to hug your mom and say happy mother's day. ALL moms like that when their sons do that to them.

i delivered roses to my mom a couple of days ago and she absolutely liked it!

Just call my mom and wish her a happy mother's day, unfortunately. I live 6,000 miles away from my mom.

I gave my mom 2 dozen variegated roses with lavender sprigs in it ,I put them in a large vase with ribbons and colored glass beads in the bottom, then I gave her a pedicure, she loved it.I have to work today ,but my three boys have called me and I received wind chimes, and singing cards. For them to call and tell me they love me,is worth more than anything else they could do.

Blessed Be to all moms today.

Call your mom,and tell her how much you love her.

I'm the mom... other than a fabulous breakfast prepared by my men-folk, I have no idea what will be going on around here. :-)
