Question:
Unbelievers, if this occurs, would you change your way of thinking?

Hello Guys,

I come in Peace \\ //.

In 1917 in Fatima, Mary, mother of Jesus appeared to three children and said "Tell the pope he must consecrate Russia, or else after this war (world war 1) there will be a greater one. In consecrating Russia, the whole of Russia will be converted to Christianity!"

But of course, Russia was never consecrated, and world war two occurred.
But then, Mary said to the children "When Russia is consecrated, they will be converted and a period of peace will be granted to the world."

So, in other words, Russia will be converted when the Pope decides to consecrate it to the immaculate Heart.

Pope Benedict XVI, as we should believe, will not consecrate Russia, but the next Pope definitely will.

MY QUESTION: If Russia is consecrated, and converted to Christianity, what would be your first impression. Be honest please.

I mean, because there is perfect proof there that we "KNEW" before it actually occurred that Russia converted. Would you have a change of mind in your religion?
THIS MIRACLE WILL OCCUR WHEN RUSSIA IS CONSECRATED. The miracle of conversion to the whole of Russia, not a single citizens 'not' converted.

If it does, how would you react?

Well Biblical prophecy predicts that Russia will try to conquer Israel & FAIL!!! Israel will defeat her enemies... once the Antichrist rises, the day of judgment is upon us. Russia & China are mentioned in the Bible as Magog & Hagog, I think..

Not unless the miracle of 'peace' happens as well. It is not impossible to convert an entire race, be it by arms or by persuasion, this is because humans are open to persuasive argument and doctrine. If a whole nation was indoctrinated to become one religion after a few generations, this does not prove it was a divine miracle because humans can cause it to happen without a divine being forcing them or making them somehow convert, which is what the miracle would be.

It would also directly oppose the Christian tenant of free will. And I believe that's not in fact the miracle that was being foretold at that time. The second part is the more important section. Yet it is still rather broad, and broad enough that even guesses can become accurate.

It is not unthinkable to say "When Russia is consecrated and converted, the world would not have a world war until the next time it has a world war."

The period from one war to the next is 'a period of peace'.

The average hit/miss rate for a clairvoyant is around 3/10 on logical issues. So it's not irrefutable proof that a miracle happened if something worded so broadly did happen.

Russia being consecrated and forced to convert would be one way people could force the foretold future to come true, which has nothing to do again with miracles.

If this miracle did happen though without human intervention as I said earlier, it would just indicate there is something fundamentally flawed in the whole free will business and that somehow everything about the bible must be true for it to be the holy book it's taken to be.

I'm sorry, but saying a few magic words won't magically change the faith of an entire nation.

Predicting war is like predicting rain. You may not get the time frame exactly right, but you can be certain that it will happen.

Finally, it's basic knowledge that the visions these girls claimed to experience were "private visitations". There's no way to verify or debunk them.

Now, if this so-called conversion took place, I would want each and every Russian citizen interviewed, and the results documented. It would be the only way to verify it.

no. I mean, sociologists could have predicted that as well- its not necessarily a religious thing. If i say "I'm going to trip sometime this week" and then I happen to does it prove I'm psychic? Of course not! It was just a general prediction which is likely and it happened to come true. Also, if it doesnt happen is it proof that there is no god and that you're wrong? You have to think about that.

Also I've never heard of this prediction. I doubt people actually believe it. I'm sure a few thousand people do- but not the religious community as a whole. Do experts who study religion know that its an accepted prediction, no.

Russia has always been a deeply Christian country, even under communism.

I am surprised that the Mother of God wouldn't know that.

It is the sort of mistake you would expect from a semiliterate Portuguese peasant girl.

a) It's not a miracle

b) Just because some hobbit in a giant hat reminiscent of the fish-god Dagon says, "Oh, you're all Christian now." doesn't mean that they are actually going to be Christian. I'd be willing to bet that whenever this "miracle" happens, there won't be one more Christian than there was before.

c) I... I just... I fear for our future... you know?

Why would Russia converting change my mind? I'm not Russian.

Yo, simpleton, you know Russia is ALREADY full of orthodox Christians, right? It was orthodox Christian territory BEFORE the communists, it had tons of orthodox Christians during the soviet era, and they are still there today.

I'd be more impressed if the Vatican came clean on this pedophile scandal...and I'd wonder HOW MANY pedophiles were in Russia.

I'm still waiting for this "second coming" you Christians keep insisting will happen.

Let's take it one step at a time, shall we?

If it happens it would be a self fulfilling prophecy and would make no difference in my beliefs.
