Based on the picture, is this some sort of spirit?

Please, be serious. In my house, we have a very small balcony outside our kitchen. The only way to get on to it is to go into our kitchen and through its door. There is really no other way because it is over ten feet above the ground. But today it started snowing, and we realized there were two footprints on the balcony. No one had stepped on to the balcony for a few months, but they were still there. What could this be? Could it be a ghost or another force? I am 100% serious. We did not create these footprints. Here is the picture:

That's really not that much proof, those foot prints could have been done by a squirrel or another small animal. Sorry I am serious, but the picture doesn't really say much.
