Question to Christians about anger issue ?

What would lead one to have anger at only one group of nonchristians. I am a Christian and I find my self getting angry at atheists, but not at Muslims, Jews, agnostics, New Agers, etc. I know getting angry at atheists is wrong, but how can I resolve it? I especially get angry when they can make fun of us and seem to get away with it.

Find the true source of your anger. There must be a reason why you are singling out this particular part of the population. Then the answer on how to resolve it will be easier to find.

an an ex-atheist you must realize that they have a veil 2 cor. 3:14 over their eyes and shutters 2 cor. 4:4 that satan's blinds them and you must wait until God brings the truth to them, and sometimes they think they know everything and think we christians are blinded by faith in the unknown, I have heard that thei rknew symbol is not the fish with legs but the atom, this is silly, you cannot see an atom, nor can you see God, but they believe it exists-LOL. anyways, when I was an atheist I could read the bible and get no rhemas from God because I was not saved, this henders an atheist as well in believing in christians that the bible and word of God works and is tranlated correctly and I knwo some atheist read the word of Gdo so they can argue and debate christians all the time, its sad but you have to realize that they hear the voice of the devil and not Godm Just keep praying for them, I had people praying for me and christians that did not beat me over the head with a bible and I eventually came around and gfot saved.

Maybe the Old Testament God had anger management issues - however, that developed into A.D.D. in the modern area. Proof? Where has he been for the last 2000 years? My theory is something shiny in Andromeda attracted his attention and he went off to make merry there.

Being a Christian means you will take much persecution as Jesus did. I don't get angry at non-believers but I do pray for them as I know Satan has a stronghold on them. I witness, get persecuted and I keep my armor of God on at all times. Satan wants you to be angry, that is his job as he is very hard worker and he wants us to be in discord all the time. Just pray about it and know it's Satan speaking in a lot of the posts here.. I humbly pray for those who are posts blasphemy.

Oh Beloved, they will not get away with it because God knows all about it and He will deal with them, as that is not our job. Our main task is to keep praying for the Holy Spirit to convict their hearts..

I hear what you are saying.



For me, it has to do with what I see. I don't see any other group actually attacking us. And, when I say I don't see it, I mean in my day to day.



I take a deep breathe, and think of why they are being hateful. Once you realize that they are nothing more than pawns to Satan, it helps to put it in perspective. Satan can't get to me, no matter how hard he tries.



One thing also to remember:

I truly hope it's not really "anger" you carry in your heart for these lost souls. I personally don't hold one ounce of anger for anyone right now that I can think of? Where's all this "anger" coming from Christians?

If they're outright telling you that you're wrong, it's acceptable to be angry.



However, if one is simply having a friendly debate with you, just try to hold your ground without outright saying "You're wrong!".



Try to spend times with a friendly atheist to try to force the mean stereotype out of your mind. I myself am an atheist and I am very accepting of all religions. :)

its not an anger issue...many atheists on R&S do that "make fun of us and seem to get away with it"...because they have no logical leg to stand on nor is their view based in science...its a philosophical view they can't prove...its basically atheists saying i'm right your wrong...something they accuse us of doing...if i'm wrong to assert Christianity is right and atheism as wrong...why is it right for atheists to assert atheism as right and Christianity is wrong...they are hypocrites who don't adhere to there own standards...

it is a good sign to be angry because your being jealous to God/Jesus name but you need to control your anger the bible says: "Be angry, and do not sin." Ephesians 4:26

Realize that atheists are right and you're wrong. I am about 99% atheist and 100% certain that it doesn't matter to a God whether or not you worship in a church or are a Christian.
