Why do Christians and religious folks say god created man not man created god?

How can you folks believe that when many years before the bible's god was around primitive tribesmen already had created many gods, Like fire gods, wind gods, rain gods, moon gods, water gods, ETC..

There was no bible's god at that time yet there were men who created many gods. How do you justify what you say that god created man instead of man created gods?

You keep thinking for yourself like that and the "believers" will excommunicate you from the universe. Do you hear Blasphemer? Join a church...thinking for yourself is forbidden, haven't you heard? 8>)

Well, IF man created "god", then there exists the possibility that there is no one TRUE "god" and also creates the possibility that humanity is not some "special" creation, we really are animals after all. That really puts their little knickers in a knot.

People do cherish their "specialness" and they do not seem to be able to accept that just by existing, every single human being is unique and thereby "special" in their own right. It's sad that they have such low self-esteem (to resort to a cliche) that they have to invent an outside source to validate their own totally natural existence. If they were no so eager to judge those that disagree with them and even fight wars over "my 'god' can lick your god'", one would almost have to feel sorry for them.

Blessings on your Journey!

Lack of critical thinking, disdain for the philosophy of science, gullibility, wishful thinking, stupidity. Thare are many common reasons, and you are wasting your life asking if you expect a rational reply.

Consider this from an article about Martin Gardner in Wikipedia:

"There is nothing supernatural, and nothing in human reason or visible in the world to compel people to believe in God. The mystery of existence is enchanting, but a belief in 'The Old One' comes from faith without evidence. However, with faith and prayer people can find greater happiness than without. If there is an afterlife, the loving 'Old One' is probably real."

because god tells us he created everything the way he said everything we see shows design and complication and it shows it fits and works together you have a flawed premise and your conclusions are flawed also Do you have all the records of all the chemical combinations as well as all the atmospheric conditions which happened during those 13.7 billion years? no and neither do you the world is not 13.7 billion years old If you do not than what is your proof that certain combinations did not spark life? god tells us he caused life to exist Genesis 1:26 26 God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.

Because God Created Man, Period, Trying to explain anything to one who is closed minded and has a Bias presupposition is a worthless waste of time, Your presupposition is that there is no God; therefore, no matter what I might present to you to show His existence, you must interpret it in a manner consistent with your presupposition: namely, that there is no God. If I were to have a video tape of God coming down from heaven, you'd say it was a special effect. If I had a thousand eye-witnesses saying they saw Him, you'd say it was mass-hysteria. If I had Old Testament prophecies fulfilled in the New Testament, you'd say they were forged, dated incorrectly, or not real prophecies. So, I cannot prove anything to you since your presupposition won't allow it.

Your presupposition cannot allow you to rightly determine God's existence from evidence -- providing that there were factual proofs of His existence. Don't you see? If I DID have incontrovertible proof, your presupposition would force you to interpret the facts consistently with your presupposition and you would not be able to see the proof.

And how do you know this? Most intelligent person. This is not a fact. But it is true that the word of the Lord has existed forever and that since the fall of man, the Devil and sin have worked together to create false doctrine alongside the truth.

But what do you know about truth? You cast away Christ and his forgiveness. Instead of acknowledging your sin you say it doesn't exist. But it does exist and for it you will pay the price.

But you don't have to pay the price! The very thing you casted away is still awaiting to forgive you. Jesus Christ still wishes you to be saved and for you to merely accept his free gift. Stop pretending that God doesn't exist and know that Christ exists for the purpose of your salvation.

Perhaps it was what man saw around him, and realizing that these things could not be, without some force creating it, and this force or forces, had to have some kind of intelligence. Things just do not appear from nothing.

So man then had names for gods, since he didn't know exactly what caused these things. I supposed he could have had a god for each and everything...but still, a god...not just nothing.

Yet science would have us believe, that things came from nothing...including "LIFE" coming from nothing.

If that is not delustional, I don't know what is.

For 15 years, my sister was a devout Buddhist. Then five years ago, she "found" Jesus and converted to christianity. If I was to use your logic, Jesus did not exist until five years ago?

I think you are ranting against christians and not really looking for an answer that would expand your knowledge.

The gods and the Supreme Being revealed them/Himself to humans. They were not made up by humans. I have a relationship with the Supreme Being and He talks to me 24/7. He revealed Himself to me, because I believed in Him.
