Is it true that a new Jehovah's Witnesses' Bible has been released?

There have been rumours that the Watchtower would release a New Revised New World Translation Bible at their Annual Meeting.
Many JWs denied it .

Of course it's true.



JWs on this site have proven time and again that they lack credibility and cannot be relied upon for the most up-to-date information about new releases from their organization.



Remember when "apostates" first broke the news about the "sparlock video"? All the JWs automatonically (SIC) branded it as an apostate lie. Today it's a known fact.



Just a few days ago I answered a question stating that I heard rumors of a new bible being released at the AGM. A JW automaton derided my statement. Today it's a known fact.



History keeps showing them that it's not wise to dispute apostate sources who leak info. on upcoming releases. And yet they learn nothing as evidenced by the fact that they continue to make the same mistakes of denying what the apostates say only to later have egg on their faces, so to speak. There is a word fur such conduct on the part of JWs - stupidity.

The governing body are NOT the only ones of the anointed alive today.



There are thousands and thousands of anointed scattered among the congregations world-wide.



As for the "sister proof"?



What was being referred to is that the sisters or women of Jehovah's Witnesses are very proficient in teaching from the Bible, using it VERY regularly at the doors and in the return visit work and the Bible study work. So the wear and tear on the Bible will not have it falling apart or wearing out any time soon - it is "sister proof".



If the comment was listened to in context it is very clear what was being discussed - the glue used, the type of cover, the creases that could develop, the wear to the gold edging, etc.



It is a shame when ones will not consider the context, or deliberately hide the context and apply an inaccurate application to what is said.



If I said that a toy is "child-proof", what I am saying is NOT that there is anything wrong with the CHILD, but that the child will give the type of wear and tear that might damage a less than well thought out and well made toy. So a better product becomes "child-proof".



And so it was with this comment. It was very plain what was meant - by those who were there.



There was NO "it is so simple that a sister could understand it".

It was released today at the annual meeting.



About two years ago I was informed by a translator in a non-English bethel that it was only a matter of time before the NWT English version would be revised, because it was originally written in 1950s English whereas subsequent translators in other languages have had the luxury of rendering bible verses in a more contemporary lexicon. This prediction was clearly accurate.



A number of terms have thus been changed as follows (according to the Reddit thread)…



“Long-suffering” is now “patience”

“Loose conduct” is now “brazen conduct”

“Fornication” is now “sexual immorality”

“Impaled” is now “nailed to a stake”

“Sheol and hades” is now “the grave”

“Revelries” is now “wild parties”

“Soul” is now a variety of words depending on context

“Kidney” now means “deepest emotions”

“In want of heart” is now “lacking good sense”

“Sons of Israel” is now “Israelites”

“Fatherless boy” is now “fatherless child”

“Alien” is now “foreigner”

“***” is now “donkey”

“Impale him” is now “to the stake with him” (a regression if you ask me!)

“Dumb demon” is now “speechless”

“Loving kindness” is now “loyal love”

“Jacob’s ladder” is now “Jacob’s stairway”

Yes! The NWT has never been a translation but a paraphrase of the Bible. They have no scholars who re trained in biblical translation or biblical languages to do a translation. It is a paraphrase to align more with their man-made doctrines. They have very little regard for the real teaching of Scriptures. God bless!

First they denied Sparlock...........true we were right

Next month the Elders will be called to follow the governing body no matter what, even if it seems wrong, Witnesses are denying this but we know for a FACT that it is true.



Maybe Witnesses need to go and clean house before they go to your doors and tell us that there are issues with our beliefs or non beliefs.

YOU HAVE TO READ AND STUDY THE HOLY BIBLE.



I know there are a lot of translations and it may be a daunting task for you to select one, but here is the thing if you read, study and really think about the words, their usage and the ideas and teachings you will eventually develop spiritual discernment and you will know what the LORD says is right.



Don't get hung up on what Bible to read ie... the new one, the old one, the KJV or NIV etc. just study and obey!
