Question:
Is your religion a little religion and your god a little god?

"How is it that hardly any major religion has looked at science and concluded, This is better than we thought! The Universe is much bigger than our prophets said, grander, more subtle, more elegant? Instead they say, No, no, no! My god is a little god, and I want him to stay that way. A religion, old or new, that stressed the magnificence of the Universe as revealed by modern science might be able to draw forth reserves of reverence and awe hardly tapped by the conventional faiths."

The whole concept of "God" is a small-minded construct.

I am probably made up from cells as you are, but my soul was destined before the creation of heaven and earth to belong to my Father in heaven. My Creator is worthy praise and honour all eternity, what is what I have started doing here, and will continue when my body goes to dust.

I never, ever agree with anything you post. But I do like Carl Sagan.

Religion? Screw religion. Not interested. "My God?" I belong to him, not the other way around. And yes, you know it, he is a big God.
