To me religions are not only made to worship a chosen god and to celebrate the good things together, but also to cope with and conduct themselves through the hardships of life. With that in mind, I'd start with these three and go from there.

"If God is a God of love, why hasn’t He dealt with evil?"



In Dr. Robert Morey’s book The New Atheism and the Erosion of Freedom, he talks with an atheist about this issue. The atheist assumes that everything is relative, and there are no absolutes (he is absolutely sure of that). Morey replies that the first thing an atheist must do is prove the existence of evil. By what process can an atheist identify evil? He must have a universal absolute to do so. Without an absolute reference point for "good" (which only God can provide), no one can identify what is good or evil. Thus without the existence of God, there is no "evil" or "good" in an absolute sense. Everything is relative. The problem of evil does not negate the existence of God. It actually requires it.



Many assume that because evil still exists today, God has not dealt with it. How can atheists assume that God has not already solved the problem of evil in such a way that neither His goodness nor omnipotence is limited? On what grounds do they limit what God can and cannot do to solve the problem? God has already solved the problem of evil. And He did it in a way in which He did not contradict His nature or the nature of man. We assume God will solve the problem of evil in one single act. But why can’t He deal with evil in a progressive way? Can’t He deal with it throughout time as we know it, and then bring it to the climax on the Day of Judgment?



God sent His Son to die on the cross in order to solve the problem of evil. Christ atoned for evil and secured the eventual removal of all evil from the earth. One day evil will be quarantined in one spot called "hell." Then there will be a perfect world devoid of all evil. If God declared that all evil would, at this moment, cease to exist, you and I and all of humanity would go up in a puff of smoke. Divine judgment demands that sin be punished.

3. Why is the hebrew word "satan" translated as "adversary" in Numbers, I and II Samuel, and Kings, but translated as "Satan" in Job, I Chronicles, Psalms, and Zechariah? Is there a rational explanation for this? For example, why is not 1Kings 11:14 translated as "And the Lord stirred up Satan..." Could it be that the English translators of the Bible were trying to hide something in the original Hebrew?

If abortion is a sin, and we're supposed to kill the children of sinners, doesn't abortion serve a vital Godly purpose?

I was a Baptist pastor from close to the extreme right until I realized that I need to be very dishonest to continue on... so I dropped out of Christianity altogether... I am very happy now... check them on ths issue...



The Bible God worshipped by the Christians in America is the one that forced his chosen people to eat their own children for dinner NOT AS A PUNISHMENT, but as an option in time of famine. God never objected about it…! And Christians still make so much fuss about abortions! This is a study on Christian bigotry.



Nothing is taken out of context here. The Bible was obviously written by some primitive Holy “men of God” who knew how to control religious people... Any religion then was as savage as you can possibly imagine. The Bible is a hangover from those days... The Bible God is too bloody and wicked for just any person to believe without first smoothing out the rough edges. America is ONE NATION UNDER GOD… and… IN GOD WE TRUST only because of the collapse of our gold monetary standard. It did the trick of calming down a large segment of the religious population. Christians get abused because they hardly read the Bible!



Christians blame atheists of being “baby killers,” but that’s only to cover up their own Biblical indiscretions! The “LOVING” Bible God is totally powerless to teach anybody a lesson without FORCING them to eat their own children for dinner for whatever reason in the Good and Spacious Land Flowing with Milk and Honey* (*According to the Bible, this was factual ONLY before Israel invaded the Promised Land). This primitive predator God takes it on the innocent children! Paradoxically, Christians are banning ALL ABORTIONS so there will be more children for dinner! Spiritually speaking, of course…!



The Bible God's sadistic pleasures are the kinkiest ones ever to be invented in human history...!!! Throughout history not an atheistic dictator in the world EVER thought of forcing his people to eat their own children for dinner...!!! It is so repulsive that no smut publication EVER thought of publishing anything like that, either but you can enjoy reading all about it in the Bible! Christians feel that the DEVIL is seeding this information in their Bible to confuse them! If they read the Bible they do it in an obscure King James verbiage so that any gross savagery can be explained away very easily!



Leviticus 26:29 - (God says) YOU WILL eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters* (*…and Christians know that “if God says it I believe it! And that settles it!”)



Deuteronomy 28:53-57 - Because of the suffering that your enemy will inflict on you during the siege, YOU WILL EAT THE FRUIT OF THE WOMB, THE FLESH OF THE SONS AND DAUGHTERS THE LORD YOUR GOD HAS GIVEN YOU* (*God won’t protect the innocent children that he gave you, but YOU will have a gourmet dinner on them…! Praise the LORD! Sweet Jesus! Amen? – Don’t take me seriously I am not a Christian!). Even the most gentle and sensitive man* (*not a homosexual or a Godless atheist, but a chosen child of God!) among you will have no compassion on his own brother or the wife he loves or his surviving children* (*after eating the youngest ones!), and he will not give to one of them any of the flesh of his children that he is eating…* (*This is such a despicably devilish sin… NOT SHARING!)



Jeremiah 19:9 - I (God, NOT SATAN, but GOD!) WILL MAKE THEM EAT THE FLESH OF THEIR SONS AND DAUGHTERS... (This portion of the Bible was written for the pleasure of the bizarre oriented right wing religious people who love the LORD!)



Ezekiel 5:10 - Therefore in your midst fathers WILL EAT THEIR CHILDREN...* (*practically ALL the Bible writers are going berserk trying to convey “God’s message” about eating children! GOD NEVER SPOKE A WORD AGAINST EATING YOUR OWN CHILDREN, but he forced his chosen people to do it in the Good and Spacious Land Flowing with Milk and Honey! It took 2 men to carry a single bunch of grapes to show Israel coming out of Egypt how plentiful was the Palestinian land that they will be taking over! BTW… that blessed land was occupied by God hating Heathen and had plenty of food!)



Lamentations 4:10 - With their own hands COMPASSIONATE* (*GODLY… Not lesbians or atheistic!) women HAVE COOKED THEIR OWN CHILDREN... (God loving heterosexual “WOMEN” plural/many!)



These are not the only few episodes of FACTUAL eating children in the Bible!!! Here is a contextual example that can’t possibly be explained away!!!



2 Kings 6:26-29 (NIV) As the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, a woman cried to him, “Help me, my lord the king!” The king replied, “If the Lord* (*God) does not help you, where can I get help for you? From the threshing floor? From the winepress?” Then he asked her, “What's the matter?” She answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give up your son so we may eat him today, and tomorrow we'll eat my son.’ So we cooked my son and ate him* (*BTW… it came out delicious!!!). The next day I said to her, ‘Give up your son so we may eat him,’ but she had hidden him.”* (*…isn’t this CHEATING? That’s a sin!!!)



They were all “compassionate” Godly, non-Atheistic heterosexual women that HAVE COOKED THEIR OWN CHILDREN FOR DINNER...!!! All in all, the Bible God STILL appears to be the most “loving and merciful” God in the religious World! Christians still love and promote this outrageous God… Apparently they all fall by the GOD IS LOVE commercial in the Bible…!



Isaiah 49:15 “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I* (*God) WILL NOT FORGET YOU!*

(Yeah... Christians do take this verse literally, but this sadistic LOVING GOD in the Bible won’t forget to make you eat your own children, not aborted fetuses, but birthed babies for dinner!)



These are not obscure isolated verses in the Bible, but eating your own children for dinner is part of the Bible theme that the clergy and the preachers today know how to hide from public knowledge so they can still market Christianity in our advanced society! No wonder it takes YEARS OF CHRISTIAN BIBLE SCHOOLING to know how to do it right!



The Bible writers are delighted to tell us that Jesus was whipped, beaten, thoroughly marinated in Roman spit, and nailed to a Holy Cross as a “spotless Lamb of God.” Then the Christian MUST EAT HIS ROMAN SPIT FLAVORED MEAT AND DRINK HIS HOLY BLOOD in whatever form to make it to Heaven! (John 6:53) The idea of eating one’s sons and daughters is part of the BIBLE story! Cannibalizing God the Son Jesus Christ is not half that bad…! The Bible also promotes the killing of infants to get rid of future enemies of God!!!



Psalm 137:8-9 - O Daughter of Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is he who repays you for what you have done to us- he who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.



The Bible teaches that the enemies of God ought to be killed in their infancy when it is easier to get rid of them (Amen?) So abortion is not remotely that bad. In fact, IT IS VERY HUMANE...!!! Notice “humane” versus “Godly.” Godly requires that the fetus be born into a child before he/she can be destroyed as an infant!!! The Bible is mute on abortions because abortions were unsafe in Bible times and that is why it deals with killing CHILDREN after they are born when it hurts the most so everybody will get the message to obey God!!!



Isaiah 13:16 (KJV) Their little ones also will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; Their houses will be plundered And their wives ravished…. (How many sex starved women wish to be ravished…? But the children must be dashed to pieces!!! Praise the LORD!)



Too bad that not even the liberal media gets involved in objective reporting of the religious stories in the Bible! By the way, God the Son Jesus Christ is hardly any better than his own Daddy God!



Revelation 2:23 (NIV) (In his “revelation” for the last days Jesus Christ says) I WILL STRIKE HER CHILDREN DEAD* (*No abortionist can beat Jesus at killing babies… AMEN? Sweet Jesus is the one killing children so he can teach everybody a lesson on WHO IS THE BOSS! The Clergy earned millions printing books about Jesus love for the little children of the world without telling anybody about Jesus’ vicious killing craze. In our society today he would be in jail for leading by example the killing of children to favor a particular religion!!!). Then ALL THE CHURCHES WILL KNOW that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.* (*I’m the BOSS says Jesus Christ!… He is such a great teacher and he must have learned all that from the Mafia... or is it the way around? Jesus is far more daring because the Mafia doesn’t go public talking like that.)



We definitely need a better Bible more in accord with factual science and realistic moral values if religion needs to survive as a crutch for low self esteemed people!



Most Christians are totally ignorant of what the Bible is all about. It is a religious people control device and a money making machine exploiting human religious gullibility! Christians don’t know how to deal with plain FACTS either from science or from their own Bible that they hardly read! Their preachers, the Pope, Bush and the Most Reverend Doctor Dobson all subscribe, worship and rule millions of people by this God! They can’t possibly be that ignorant! They do know more of the Bible than the average Christian!!!



Romans 15:4a (Saint Paul says) For EVERYTHING that was written in the past* (*Old Testament) was written to teach us* (*Christians)...



Christians lie to our face saying that not everything written in the Bible is for them...!!!
