Question:
Who do atheists ask for help when they are in big trouble that no other human can help them?

We, the believers always ask for G-d's help. If we get into trouble that no one can help us solve, we pray to G-d and ask to help us and he often listens to us.
However, atheists don't believe in G-d so who do they ask for help in such a situation?

Thanks

Dang Mimi every time I come on line you are using a different name. Getting hard to keep up with you. But to answer your question, there is no one they can look to for help or guidance, that's why they're so screwed up. When you believe in nothing there is nothing you can fall back on when you need help other than what other human's can offer you.

Sometimes they Do ..in the last minute.

You probably heard the story about the atheist who was lost in the woods and he was being chased by a big snarling, drooly-mouthed bear. So just as the bear was getting really close, and he was so desperately frantic and panicy, He tripped and fell and the bear goes up to pounce on him, he screams, "OH, GOD!"

Just at that moment, all action freezes -kinda like the squrriel in "Over the Hedge" and the bear's like in mid-air and God says to the athiest, "You mean all this time, you never cared for Me, and you ignored Me, and made fun of Me; am I to understand that you are ready to become a Christian?"

And the athiest says, "Couldn't you just make the bear a Christian, instead?"

So the next scene, the bear is folding his paws and says, "Heavenly Father, for that which I am about to eat, I give Thee thanks!"

It's only a joke, but, nevertheless, the attitude is often the same. "Scales of pride cover their eyes." as they did mine. In the last time they will even curse God because of the plagues, but they will not submit..some will.

you haven't any longer taken any chemistry classes at present have you ever? >"this could be a vast stretch, by way of fact the simplest bacterium has 30,000 distinctive proteins. (and a few of those got here jointly by twist of fate, decrease than the right situations? What are the possibilities of that?)" No they do no longer come jointly by twist of fate by way of fact atoms have an affinity for one greater. Atoms are in contrast to billiard balls or marbles that do combine in ordinary terms in a random approaches. Atoms have tendency to combine jointly as ruled by utilising the electromagnetic tension the controls all chemical reactions. "this isn't any distinctive than saying nicely if we had a author who made the author or what made the factor that made the massive bang" the only factor that the massive Bang says with regards to the universe is that at one evaluate time the universe grow to be a very small place and at that evaluate time there grow to be no count, in ordinary terms potential. previous to that evaluate time the BB has no longer something to assert with regards to the difficulty of the universe. The BB would have been began by utilising a great Crunch that got here earlier it. Atheists believe that potential got here from no longer something. incorrect i'm an atheist and that i haven't pronounced 'potential coming from no longer something' so i'd desire to end that it has continually existed. Can existence happen by twist of fate? sure "advantageous it ought to something is obtainable yet by way of fact the situations in the worldwide are suitable," those situations a no longer suitable by way of fact at one time in the previous, existence did no longer exist on the planet. "why don’t we see new lines of micro organism bobbing up everywhere from no longer something?" opposition

Myself, the same as you do. You claim your strength is from God but whatever the action that you take still comes from you. I believe that that power always comes from within ourselves. When you've had your own weakness preached to you by your religion, you'll never give yourself the credit that you're due.

If no other human can help me, I don't ask anyone.

I try to work through my problems, using my head, the resources at my disposal, and the support of my family and friends. I've never yet not been able to work through a problem.

If no other human can help, we're pretty much screwed. We don't ask fictional creatures for help. Praying is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

There are two types of problems: ones you can do something about and ones you can't. We do something about the ones we can and we simply accept that there's nothing to be done about the ones we can't and let it go. It's much better than holding on to false hope that something will miraculously fix the unfixable.

We don't. We have to figure out how to get ourselves out of it. I know that theists often ask god for help, and I think that's fine as long as you're also trying to solve your problem yourself, because he's not there to hear you and he's not coming.

Does G-d step up and help you, or are you under the vain delusion that he does?

Pray away and have faith your prayers are being answered, but scientific studies have shown that you're only getting a placebo effect.

I, speaking for myself, am self-reliant.

Why do you live I such terror that you would assume existence is impossible unless you rely on something or someone other than yourself?

Your god is impotent.

do you really think there is no problem we can't ask other people for help with? could you perhaps mention one instance? I generally can figure out solutions to my own problems, or if not, I ask my friends , doctor or co-workers for assistance

Anyone we can. If no one is available, you'd better be able to bail yourself out, or you're in trouble.

It's the same for Christians, by the way. You just convince yourself that God is helping you when you are really helping yourself.
