Question:
In Heaven, do you think God is going to take away all your freedom you had in this lifetime or not?

It says somewhere about in heaven, people will Serve Him. I don't like the sound of that. If it has to be at the expense of doing the things I enjoy doing, such as what I enjoy doing or still want to do in this lifetime that I haven't gotten a chance to do yet and if there's no technology or cars there, then I'm not thrilled about it.

I don't mind praising and and thanking God once in while, but only when I have something to thank him for, like FREEDOM to do as I please and accomplish my wishlist of things.

Imagine there is no Physics, no.. objects, we are just energy, all we feel is happiness and knowing, we do not see using our eyes, we do not smell using our nose, we just know, we do not move at any certain speed, time doesn't exist to you, it goes on forever, you can go back or forward in time as you please, it's all the same once your dead, time doesn't exist, you may be in all time(s) at the same time, always, a human day could be another lifetime for a spirit, maybe serving him isn't slavery, it is just joining god, if everything is just energy, everything can be as one, god can grow, we can become a part of god, a one being, define gravity, we have no urges to full fill, we know all, we are happy and at peace, we have reached perfection...

Basically that is heaven, based on my Quantum Theory of the Universe, God and Everything, now define freedom, without want, urges, and physics...

All descriptions of the afterlife, whether in Heaven, Hades or Valhalla are subjective and open to individual interpretation along the lines of the standard or non standard religions and their writings. As no one has yet to come back with a road map or a list of job descriptions, your guess is as vaild as the next persons. I think you had better draw up your own future job description and get it mailed so THE BOSS can see where he is going to fit you in.

By the way, if you think you are free here, you are labouring under an illusion.

I don't think you have to worry about what you are going to do in Heaven :)

But just to approach the question, which has been answered extensively at least from the time of St Augustine. Most answers say that since you are in the presence of the all good, there is no lesser good that can distract you or solicit your attention. But you might want the right to have less joy.

Good luck with that.

GOD will not take away our freedom even in life eternal because GOD does not want us to be like a "robot" that has no free will. GOD wants us to follow His commandments in our own free or voluntary will.

When you are in His Presence, you can not help but praise Him

I believe we will be in the ultimate freedom and will be pleased to serve a loving Creator

I believe we will have wonderful exciting things to do in a new kingdom (do not belong to JW) free from these mortal bodies and free from sin, sadness and sorrow

1 John 3

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

If we are like him and he is omnipotent, I think we will have a lot to do. But that does not mean we will do anything contrary to that which is right, even God does not do certain things, but is obedient to the law.

Actually, in heaven we'll have more freedom than we ever had on earth. We'll be totally free from the burden of sin. We'll be totally free from worry. We'll be totally free from fear of the unknown. And we'll be happy to serve God because we love him. This service will not be a burden.

by the way ur talking i dont think u'll have to worry about that.

If one truly loves God they wouldnt complain having to worship him and giving up the things of this world. when one's in heaven they wont have time to worry about cars etc..cuz there will be much more interesting things to Do and experience and more beautiful things to see:)

There is only going to be one thing in heaven that ANYONE in heaven is going to WANT to do-Worship Jesus, as it says in the book of Revelation.

Why would we WANT anything else?

I do wonder if we still are able to rebel even as angels?
