Okay, from the top ...

First understand that Paul says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Now, there are two judgements. We the believers are to be judged first. It’s called the Bema Seat judgement. This happens immediately after the rapture. We will be judged for the good works we’ve done and receive rewards.

At the end of the Millennium, the 1000 years that comes after the Second Coming, all those who were not raptured will face the White Throne Judgement. It;s also referred to as the sheep and goat judgement. The sheep are are all those who died waiting for the Messiah and those who were martyred for their faith after the rapture. The goats are all those throughout history who refused to accept God’s gift of salvation.

The only requirement for salvation is to believe that only Jesus can and will save you. In every instance in the bible where someone asked, “what must I do to be saved” the answer was always “believe.” Scripture says that at the moment you first believed you were sealed with the Holy Spirit as a deposit for your inheritance. No one can reverse this. Not God, not satan, not you.

Some accounts say believe and be baptized. That’s cool. If you’re moved to be baptized then do it. It is a public expression of your commitment to God.

The rapture is the next event to take place on the prophesy calendar. All those who have died in Christ together with the living believers will be “caught up” into the sky where we will meet Jesus. Our bodies will be immediately transformed. They will be incorruptible. Then we go to judgement.

When will the rapture occurr. Many foolishly believe that we cannot know because the bible says we do not know the day or the hour. But that’s only because the rapture is not date specific. It’s dependent on the number of people who choose CHrist. Once that number (referred to in scripture as the full number of the gentiles) is reached, we’re outta here.

Can we estimate? You bet. The bible is full of pieces to the puzzle. To begin with Jesus told us that when the Jews return to their homeland, the end times clock would start ticking and the generation being born at that time would still be alive at the second coming. The clock started ticking on May 15, 1948 when the State of Israel was formed. And Psalm 90:10 says a generation is 70 years. So now you have a second coming of no later than 2018.

There can be no second coming until Daniel’s 70th week is completed. That’s seven years. So now we backtrack to 2011. In that seven year period the antichrist will come to power, first as a friend of Israel promoting peace, then as an abomination as he declares himself to be God in the newly built Temple.

And there must be a reason for such a peace treaty. There must be a war that was just waged. Israel has bee at war many times since 1948, but no war comes close to the one described in Ezekiel 38-39 in which Russia and a coalition of Muslim nation in Asia and Africa invade Israel. The invading armies will be decimated by God;s hand. That’s why the Jews build the third temple. They finally figure out there is a God.

Remember what I said earlier about the Holy Sprit being sealed in you when you first believed? Well scripture says the Holy Spirit must be removed when the full number of the gentiles come in (believes). That’s why the timing of the rapture is based on the full number of believers.

So it goes like this: the full compliment of believers is on board, the Holy Spirit says adios to this world and because the Spirit is sealed in us, we gotta go too. In a flash. And this must happen before the invasion of israel because the Holy Spirit is the restrainer and all out war cannot begin and the antichrist cannot come to power if the Holy Spirit is still restraining satan.

So the rapture could occur any day now but certainly not past 2011. And interestingly enough, all this talk about the world coming apart at the seems on 12/21/2012 mirrors the judgements on the earth in Revelation 6. And by the way, the rapture occurs in Revelation 4.

Hope that helps. Check out the link below for more info.

Only 144,000 will be judges. Notice how their are 2 groups mentioned in Revelation chapters 7: 4-17, 20:4-6, and John 10: 14,16. Also note that, to be a judge, you have to have people to judge over.

No. You don't have to be baptize. If you definitely can't be. Because the heart is more important then the body to God (Matthew 10: 22; 2 Peter 3: 9). And thank of this, can one be physically baptized, but have a bad heart?

In regards to the rapture, not all those faithful will go to heaven (Revelation 7: 9-17; 21:3,4; Psalms 37:29).

Don't be confused. The answers are in the Bible. Just be patiant. And continue in prayer. If I didn't quite answer your question, please, do not hesitate to contact me.

When Jesus returns we will rule and reign with Him for 1000 years.

We will judge angels and we are to judge sin at all times.

We do know that baptism was not necessary for the thief on the cross that Christ said, "this day you will be with Me in paradise," but to fulfill all righteousness we should be baptized.

Being reborn is first we are born of water the womb and second we are born of the Spirit and receive the Holy Spirit from God who dwells in us.

The rapture is when the saints are called up and caught up in the clouds to meet Christ in the air. The Bible says that we are not appointed to wrath and the seven years of Tribulation will be the worst time in all of history. We are told to watch and pray that we can be accounted worthy to stand before the Lord and escape all these things which are coming upon the earth.

Get you a good King James Version Bible and get into a good Bible Study group because we are commanded by God to know His Word, the Holy Bible. Reading the Bible with the Holy Spirit will bring great understanding to you.

You will not participate in the judgment as a judge.

However, some believe that even heaven is not created equally and that those who live fabulously right will live in heavenly penthouses. That said, to have such a hierarchy of rewards would suggest that your life record would have to be available. And, those of us who just scraped by would get the "still forgiven" passes while those who lived meritorious lives might get the "wholeheartedly forgiven" passes. But, in heaven its all good.

There are saved Christians who have accepted Jesus. And, there are Christians who are simply philosophically entrenched in their religious organization (Baptists, Catholics, Episcopals, Adventists, etc.) as part of a lifestyle. Whether you are saved, or just living the lifestyle, recognize that their idiosyncrasies (including baptismal rituals) are secondary to foundation beliefs, belief in Christ and accepting his role in your life.

The rapture is the "go straight to heaven" pass (without dying) for those who happen to be Christians and alive when Jesus returns.

There is no divine judgment for sins that have been duly forgiven by God.

And while God may forgive those who apologize to him and who repent of their sins, the only Christians who absolutely know for sure that they've been forgiven (while still alive, here on earth) are Catholics, since Jesus gave the Catholic Church alone the power to forgive sins, by instituting the sacrament of reconciliation, as his very first official act after he raised himself up from the dead.

That this was obviously on his mind as Jesus departed his tomb should give you an indication of how much he wanted us all to have the grace and the peace of mind that absolute forgiveness of sins can truly provide.

Unfortunately, non-Catholics will have to wait until Judgment Day to find out if they've been forgiven (or not) and that typically means that they will indeed be judged.

Regarding baptism ... It was absolutely clear, for the first 1500 years of Christianity that baptism was typically required for salvation, and that baptism was "the door" to the church, and to all that the church had to offer, for the care of souls.

And while the protestant reformers had some valid disputes with the Catholic church and the way the clerics were running things (just as we still do today) nothing has ever successfully challenged the truth and the consistency of Catholic doctrine, since it comes directly from Jesus and the apostles, and so cannot be refuted.

The bottom line on baptism is this: Why would anyone take a chance with their own salvation by forgoing baptism, when it's so easy and so simple to get baptized ... especially when we have Jesus' personal example in the matter .. as well as his great commission ... neither of which leaves room for any doubt about the critical necessity of baptism?

As for the rapture: Until about 200 years ago, absolutely no one even mentioned the possibilty of a "rapture" that might pluck Christians out of the world, prior to the return of Jesus Christ.

Catholics and most other Christians still think the idea of the "rapture" is pure bunk ... since God has always demonstrated his ability to save his people, while they remain planted firmly here on earth.

The critical thing to understand about the end times is that the antichrist comes first, claiming to be God, and deceiving the world, then 7 years or so of trouble follows, culminating in the return of the real Jesus, with all the angels and all the saints, who finally put Satan and all his minions in hell, leaving the rest of us to get on with eternity, in the presence of God.

I hope this has been helpful.

what ever you read in the bible, do not take it as it is yet.. read first the whole of the bible. if you will read further, you will see that the apostle Paul, speaks of a FIRST Resurrection, in the first resurrection, it is the time when Jesus will come back and all the good and righteous shall be changed and raised up to meet him in the air, the dead who are righteous are to be resurrected and taken up first, then comes the living, these are the people who had been said who will not experience death. Now those who had been called in the first resurrection shall stay first in heaven, while Jesus rules the world with an iron rod. On the first resurrection, everyone will know that there really is a God, and because all the righteous had already been raised up, the bad shall be left on earth. these are the people whom Jesus will rule with an iron rod. now, given that there is really a God after the first resurrection, the bad will have better faith that there really is God, but God will not hear them, they shall live their lives without God, all throughout the times Jesus rules them with an iron rod.. at the end of Jesus' rule, all the people who had been good in those times, which will only be a few, and all the bad people shall be put in front for judgment. after that will come the end..

about it that you should be baptized, it is only for those who had already found the true church of God, but as you have not found it yet, it is not for you yet. having known the true church of God, you need to be baptized into it. for God is merciful and He will also be merciful to those who not once heard the words of God.

Christians get judged too, but it wont be a "will you get into heaven or not" judgment, but it will be "will you become the bride of Christ or not" as it is unbiblical and would make God unjust if say a Christian that only payed attention to God on Sundays get the same exact thing as say the Apostles, people who spent their lives and for almost all of them their deaths declaring Jesus is Lord.

It is hard to say what is really the truth. Different denominations argue about this all the time.

It is sort of like preparing for the SATs. All you can do to prepare is study, the rest is up to fate.

All I can tell you is to live a good life, help others, and do your best to make this world a better place than you found it. Being baptized and born-again are performed on the inside, not by a church or pastor. They merely represent your decision to live by a higher standard.

If one is baptized with water then he will can partecipate in the treasure of the new sky and earth...

These christians cannot judge: who say... "stupid" to another christian.

If "stupid" is said when a christian don't want to listen to a christian friend so he will be judged also. He loses our friendly so he can partecipate only if he makes what the judges want...

I personally believe that we will be judged for everything that we do. God is the ultimate judge and then in the Bible it also says "Do not judge; For you also will be judged." So I do not think that we will be judging other people.

I do not think that it is necessary to go to heaven to be baptized, but it is a sin. Jesus said that we needed to be baptized.

The rapture is one of the most debateable concepts in the Bible. There are pre-milleniumists, mid-milleniumists, and post-milleniumists and they all say different things. In my opinion only God knows.

Hope I helped!

You will be judged on that final day. However, after your sins are read, you will be given a judgement of "forgiven". While your debt has been paid, you still need to be aware of what you did to deserve that debt.

Doug... whoa!!!! I am certain of my forgiveness and look to my salvation just as you do! You too will be judged by God and given the same judgement .... forgiven. I don't care what the vatican says... Catholics are not the only ones who are assured forgiveness and salvation.

When you are saved, you are baptized, that is, submerged, in the Holy Spirit, which enters your heart to guide you in your new life towards Christ. This is the baptism that you must have. Baptism by water is the physical, outward expression of you spiritual, inward salvation.

It will be God who does the judging, we are the ones who will be judged. For those of us who accepted Jesus, He will take the responsibility for our sins, and we will be permitted to enter the kingdom of heaven. For those who never accepted Jesus, they will be found guilty of their sins, and denied access to the full glory of God.

While prophecy in general is difficult to understand until it is fulfilled, it is generally believed that sometime in the(hopefully near) future, Jesus will return to earth to claim His followers, and bring them up into Heaven. Then there will be a 7 year period(the tribulation) where the unbelievers who are left have a final chance to accept Jesus, but the entire world will persecute them, hunting them down and executing them. Finally, at the end of the 7 years, God will wipe out the remaining non-believers, and every soul of every man or woman who ever lived will be judged by God to be either righteous or sinful.

The judgment a Christian faces is more of an award banquet, the decision on that day will be how great is your reward for faithful service. When Jesus told Nicodemus about being reborn, it was a spiritual birth he was speaking of. Baptism, while a noble thing to do is not required, the thief on the cross was not baptized, but Jesus told him "today you will be with me in paradise"

you dont have to be baptized that is a personal choice, you probably got that from the old testiment. the new testemint is more of todas world. on judgment day you will be judged, we all will, everytime we do something wrong and we ask for forgiveness, and mean it we do get forgiving, but final judgement day is about our whole life.

Jesus spoke of the judgement day when he walked among men. He said "Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of' Judgement" Matthew 12:36. "He that rejecteth me and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him. The word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day" John 12:48. Jesus spoke of a day of judgement on the last day. He said that two kinds of words were important: what we say and what he said. We will be judged by his words and by our words. This means that we need to pay attention to what we say and to what he says in the Bible.

But how can we be sure that there really will be a day of Judgement? We can be sure there is a judgement because he proved there would be a Judgement by his own resurrection from the dead. The apostle Paul said, "God now commandeth all men everywhere to repent because he hath appointed a day in the which he will judge the world by righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained, whereof he hath given assurance unto all men in that he hath raised him from the dead" Acts 17:30,31. "For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to what he hath done whether it be good or bad" II Corinthians 5:10. We can be sure that there is a judgement day and we can be sure that everyone on earth will be there.

The climax of the judgement scene is recorded by John in the last book of the Bible, the Book of Revelation. "And I saw a great white throne and him that sat upon it from whose face the heaven and the earth fled away, and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God and the books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of Life, and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it and death and hell (Hades) delivered up the dead which were in them and they were judged every man according to their works." Revelation 20:11-13.

Here are some clear facts from the Bible about the judgement: Fact No. 1: Man must give account of himself on the day of judgement. (Matthew 12:36; Romans 14:10,12). Fact No. 2: All of us shall appear at the judgment. (Acts 17:31; II Corinthians 5:10) Fact No. 3: We're to be judged by how we measure up to the word of God. (John 12:48; Revelation 20:11-13) Fact No. 4: We need to get ready for the judgement day. (II Corinthians 5:10; Matthew 12:36-41)

Now if Jesus is going to be the judge and his words are going to be the standard or rule by which we are judged it becomes very important that we learn what his words are. In the great sermon on the mount he said, "Not everyone who saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name cast out devils and in thy name done more wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you. Depart from me you that work iniquity" Matthew 7:21-23. Those who do his will, will not receive this condemnation and punishment. What will you say at the judgement?

There are many different judgments in the scriptures, and only by rightly dividing the word of truth can anyone make the proper distinctions. What follows will briefly cover four of them:

The Judgment of Sin. Sin was judged at Calvary when Christ bore the sins of the world. God's judgment on sin was poured out on Christ at Calvary (Gal. 3:13; II Cor. 5:21; Col. 2:14).

The White Throne Judgment. Sinners who reject Christ will die in their sins and go directly to Hell (Lk. 16:22-23). After the millennial reign of Christ, Death and Hell will be delivered up before the White Throne Judgment. Sinners will be judged according to their works. At this point they will realize that their works are unacceptable to God and they will be cast into the eternal lake of fire (Rev. 20:11- 15). There MAY also be some people at this judgment from the Tribulation and Millennium, but no Christians will be judged here (We have a separate judgment.). In fact, Christians will be ASSISTING the Lord in this judgment (Dan. 7:10; I Cor. 6:2).

The Judgment Seat of Christ. This judgment is mentioned by name in Romans 14:10 and in II Corinthians 5:10. It is a special judgment for Christians only, a judgment where we will be judged for our Christian service and rewarded. According to I Corinthians 3:11-15, some Christians will suffer great LOSS of rewards as well.

The Judgment of Self. Paul tells us in I Corinthians 11:31 to judge ourselves so that we won't be judged. This involves CONFESSION and REPENTANCE. It is my Christian duty to confess my sins to the Lord and ask His forgiveness (I Jn. 1:9). As long as I do this, God doesn't have to judge me, because I've already confessed my sins and they are under the blood of Christ. However, if I choose to continue in sin, then God has to step in and judge me because I'm His child.

"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.” For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent [or precede or go before] them which are asleep.” For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:” Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” Wherefore comfort one another with these words."-I Thessalonians. 4:13-18.

These were words of assurance to the Christians at Thessalonica, one of the outstanding cities of the Greco-Roman world. At that time, it had in it more pagans than almost any other city. In fact, inscribed over the main archway that led into the city were these words: Once a man is dead, he is dead forever. The people of Thessalonica thought that when a man died, he was dead forever. The Apostle Paul ignored that system of thinking. Some of the folks in the church at Thessalonica-the first church the Apostle Paul founded-had lost loved ones in death. Those people had feelings, wonderings, perplexities, problems and questions about death the same as we do; so they inquired of the Apostle Paul, "What about our loved ones who have died? Is this the end of them? Is this all there is? Will we ever see them again?" We have just read the exact answer which he gave them: "I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep." Then he unfolds the truth for them and for us-the truth which is our comfort and our consolation in this old world of sin and death.

The next great event on God's timetable is the rapture of the saints. What a day that will be when all the children of God are brought together in that meeting in the air!

THE RAPTURE OF THE SAINTS

The word rapture does not appear in the New Testament, but the idea is all through the Bible. The word means, "to snatch away," "to catch up," "to be caught up." The coming of Jesus Christ for His saints is an absolute, undeniable, irrevocable truth. Regardless of what the agnostics or the atheists or the modern unbelieving theologians say, Christ is coming again! The Bible-the inspired, indestructible, infallible and inerrant Word of God-tells us so. God inspires all Scripture, not just portions of it. What Paul wrote to the people at Thessalonica is stamped with the approval of, and by the inspired hand of, Almighty God.

There are testimonies, which give evidence of His return:

(1) An angel testified to His coming:

"Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."-Acts 1:11.

These words were spoken when Christ ascended back to the Glory World, back to the Father, back to His place at the right hand of God, where He is now making intercession for us and is awaiting this moment! The angel said this same Jesus will come again.

(2) The Apostle Paul testified to His coming:

"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."-Heb. 9:28.

Christ will appear the second time without a sin offering, without a sacrifice. There will never be another Calvary, another Pilate's hall, another Garden of Gethsemane, another crucifixion. For once, in the end of the age, He will appear to put away sin.

(3) Christ Himself said He would come again:

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. "And if I go [this is not speculative reasoning; it means 'inasmuch as I go'] and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."-John 14:1-3.

THE PRECISE EVENTS OF THE RAPTURE

1st Thessalonians 4:13-18 outlines the precise events that will take place when Jesus comes again. However, verse 16 is the crux of the whole thing:

1. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven." Acts 1:11 says, "This same Jesus." God is not going to send a prophet or a priest or potentate or preacher or king or a master or tyrant, but "this same Jesus" is coming back.

2. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout." It will be a call, a summons, a command. Christ will command every Christian to come forth. In John 5, Jesus said that His voice-His shout of triumph, His summons, His command, His call-will be heard by every Christian. The voice of the Son of God will be sounded forth when He descends from Heaven. What a day!

3. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the arch-angel." Not only will Jesus Himself descend with a shout, but there will be the voice of the archangel. There is only one other reference to the archangel. In Jude 9 he is identified as Michael. Jude tells us that Michael and the Devil had a wrestling match, and Michael won. That struggle, that wrestling match, that problem, that depression, that despondency, that hopeless hour, that valley of sorrow and tragedy through which we are crossing-"we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world"-with Satan himself. But "Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." When Michael won the wrestling match with the Devil, what were they fighting over? The body of Moses, an old man one hundred and twenty years of age.

When Jesus comes, the voice of the archangel will be heard. The greatest thing that could happen today is not for an aircraft designer to get another contract, not for the stock market to rise, but for Jesus Christ to return to this sinful earth and take out His children. Since the Devil fought with the archangel over the body of one saint, don't you suppose he is going to put up a bigger fight when Jesus comes? Do you suppose the Devil will try to put a lid on every grave to try to stop every saint from coming up out of the grave? The archangel who defeated the Devil in the wrestling match over the body of Moses will defeat him again-with a shout! The Devil will be defeated, the graves will open, and the dead shall rise! I'm not so much concerned with what the politicians or theologians or economists say, or what the radio and television talk shows have to talk about; I'm listening for another voice, for the sound of the trumpet, for the shout of Jesus, for the voice of the archangel. When that sounds, there will be the marshaling of the troops of all the redeemed soldiers of God.

4. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God." The trumpet is used to marshal the troops. We read in I Corinthians fifteen, "We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."-Vss. 51,52. The shout of Jesus, the voice of the archangel, the trumpet of God-something is going to happen when this harmony sounds!

5. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first." That is the first resurrection. John says in Revelation 20, "And I
