Our bible study is looking for a free online resource that provides meditations/reflections and bible study guidance on the readings of the catholic liturgical calendar. We discuss the selections BEFORE mass on sunday so the resource has to be in preparation mode not reflection mode.

Lutherans have what we call a lectionary. I would imagine Catholics have something like that. You probably should ask a priest these questions. You want to be sure you study something that is approved by the Catholic church. Catholics are only supposed to read printed material with the word Impramatur on it, which means it's approved by the Vatican. This is done to ensure that the teachings are in line with Catholic doctrine and tradition and members won't be confused. You might want to ask the priest which year the lectionary is for also. We Lutherans have a set of weekly readings which change from year to year. It's listed as Year A, B, or C. Find out which set you should follow.

I'm Protestant but there is a Catholic subscription called Magnificat that seems to be what you are looking for, maybe? Pray about it.
