Christians: Why do you say it's impossible that Charles Manson is Jesus, given the violence of God in the OT?

God has done far worse than Manson - far worse than Satan too.

To all the tards: I know Charles Manson is not Jesus - this is a thought experiment. There is no Jesus and no God.

Your claims are ridiculous even for an experiment. Charles Manson obviously does not fit the profile of the second coming of Christ. i can use this argument because as you said this a "thought experiment" since your premise for the claim is that charles manson isn't as violent as God I would concede the point as it would be irrelevant to determining wheher or not he is Jesus. Te impossability comes because Charles manson has never fulfilled any biblical prophecy.



The argument your making is begging the question of an impossible comparison. Secondly the old testament would be irrelevant as to determining Charles mansons status as Jesus. the OT is just that OLD the new testament is what you would have to base the premise of your argument on if you wanted to use the bible in the way you are attempting.



Even assuming you use the new testement the issue of lack of prophecy fulfilment would still be enough to destroy the claim that Charles manson is Jesus.



The last argument is that since the bible prphecy isn't fulfilled that Charles Manson is indeed Jesus and the bible is false.



This last argument is defeated simply because if the ible is false than Jesus is false, and therfore Charles Manson cannot be Jesus.



Therefore I as a Christian can say that Charles Manson being Jesus is an impossablity.



I have defeated every concievable argument in favor of charles manson being jesus without acting like a "tard". and following your guidlines. If you don't like the answer just manipulate your logic until my arguments no longer work. Until then I wish you well, when you die you will be fertalizer and go into a beautifle tree, then you will be shopped down and cut into paper, then the bible will be printed with you.

What has God done accept judge wisely and justly. You say that God has done worse that Manson and Satan. What do either of these two men offer you??? God offers eternal life, free form the pains of this world. God made himself flesh and allowed man to nail Him to a cross, where he died, so that you may live.

the thing you people keep missing about this lil quesiton of the old testament is that he warned these people for 300 years!! 300 YEARS!! you say you have a child, right?? what if you told him/her for 3 years to stop doin an evil deed that was gonna get him/her into trouble? would you just ignore it, and hope eventually they will stop?? no!! those ppl were told the consequesnces of their actions, and refused to turn from their sins.... so, they were kinda askin for it, because they had PLENTY of warning!

The OT was just that, the OLD testament. With Jesus, a new Covenant was made with Man. The Old ways of God, with smiting enemies and whatnot, was done. God fully gave us this world, it is now ours to make the Kingdom in, or destroy.

Not evil, stern. I see it as a parent-child relationship. During OT times, we were like young children. If Man got out of line, he diciplined us, just like parents may spank a young child. It doesn't mean the parents are evil, just that that is all the child will understand to act right. God's relationship with Man was the same in that time.

Now, our relationship has matured. Man is more like an adult child of God. God is still there, just as my parents are still there, but He won't punish us in the same way as when we were children. Just like my parents, He is always there when we need him, but He lets us live, and doesn't force us to live by his rules.

And I have yet to see actual proof that Jesus exists, I once heard somebody say that the bible was the greatest story ever written.
