Which is best: poetry or prose?

Yorkshire Pudding or ice cream?

'Different' does not mean 'less accurate'

While science answers the question HOW religion mainly deals with who and why. According to current religious beliefs religion has already reached maturity and is not altered or new things added. Science on the other hand is still evolving.

You can believe both as Science can have no opinion on religion and is a separate field.

Science is a method of discovering things. When something is proved through scientific methods it can be shown to be accurate because of all the evidence. Religion has none of this - it is all about belief.

Science is discovering truths about the world around us using logic and observation.

Religion is imagining up ideals about the world around us using nothing but blind faith and mans own desires.

So on that basis, science is more reliable. Accuracy is a word I won't use since neither science or religion has a definitive answer to the big questions, just theory.

Taoism, its theory of yin and yang (constructive and risks that makes up each thing) which present day physics shows that finished capability of the full universe is 0 (negated with the aid of the destructive capability, dark capability, that fuels the inflation of the universe). At atomic ranges, all of us comprehend the existence of protons and electrons (constructive and destructive). *Quantum Physics: everywhere in the universe, debris pop in and out of Higgs field (see the "universe from no longer something"). Tao theory became in existence in China in or in the previous the 5th century BCE, and that's extra beneficial than 2,500 years in the past.

It depends on your definition of each. If you mean science is atheism-based-answers-only, then religion will be right most of the time.

There are many things that science can't address, like why color or a flower is beautiful, or why ethics and morals are good.

Also, there are many religions. Each makes exclusive truth claims.

Ask a scientist from any society about a physical property of the universe and the answer will be substantially the same. They work from evidence of how the universe works.

Ask people from different religion about a physical property of the universe and you will get a wide variety of answers. They work from what their holy books/tradition tell them about how the universe works.

So which is more accurate - the discipline that deals with physical reality or the one that works from ancient superstition?

Science is the 'how', religion is the 'why'. I don`t know why most religions are against science, but science isn`t against any religion.

I`d trust science over religion.... there are many aspects of science looking for an answer. There are many different religions claiming to be the ONLY answer.

That's like asking what is more accurate: The Star Wars Trilogy, or Cosmos by Carl Sagan.

One is fiction, the other is not.

Do we need faith? In either; at some point to certain extents the answer has to be yes.

Let there be light.

The measured speed of light.

Both require faith in men of these areas of thinking.

More accurate about what?

Science is about the physical world. Religion is about people's lives.

They aren't against each other: they deal with different things.

I presume you mean which is more accurate about the real world.

Science is based on reality.

Religion is based on ancient myth and superstition.

Does that answer your question?
