No for sure. They are just have the same as flue virus. That's all.

But some will tell you some story like this which is normal:

Some people hate and fear gay people. Therefore, it's amazing, really, their gods also hate and condemn gay people. It's amazing how one can justify hating an entire group, for no other reason than their sexual orientation, with verses from the Bible, etc. Amazing. Since homosexuality is only mentioned about six times, maybe, at that, in the entire Bible.

It's amazing that their fear and hatred gets a free pass in their minds because God ' spoke ' on this issue and yeah, yeah, yeah. They are just so helpless and what-can-you-do and it's not them, it's God...yeah.

So no. None of the gods hate gay people. Other people hate gay people and therefore their gods reflect that.

It's amazing how people twist the gods into saying exactly what they want the gods to say and then claim the gods said it first, that believers are just helpless and have to obey the ' words ' of that god. They don't want to condemn anyone or be horrible toward them, it's just what the gods want...

NO --- God loves everyone equally. Fair and square. What He hates is the sin. Any sin that is practiced. But in Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13 He informs us that to Him, homosexuality is an abomination, which He doesn't say about much. So it is a horrible sin, to God. Also the apostle Paul repeats this sentiment with further details in Romans 1:18-32. So it isn't just a an Old Testament thing, for Jews only.

No he doesnt the only people that believe being gay is a sin are those that follow false priests, god created everyone in gods image, you are born gay, end of it is as natural as day and night, I didnt choose to be left handed, yet some people still think it is a sin.

Dolphins, lions, lizards, whales, swans, birds, elephants, zebras, tigers, monkeys, gorillas, giraffes, buffalo, infact 80% of all animal life can be born gay, and it has been scientificaly proven, by using fact, not what some man said 1000 years ago, the same people that didnt even understand the common cold, also a fact. No argument, no examples no notjing can disprove being gay is natural, as natural as being born boy or girl left or right handed, green, blue brown, grey, hazel coloured eyes.

False priests, bigots and ignorant people are the only ones that say being gay is bad, I say being uneducated is a sin, following blindly without question is a sin. If you believe in god then you believe everybody is made equal.

No way! God loves everyone, esspacialy gay people. After all, you can't help being gay! Being gay is simply a call to be single. God created marriage for a man and a woman, so dating or marrying someone of the same gender is a sin. But he still loves everyone, remember that
2016-02-09 21:21:47 UTC
No, But let's say they are gay and want to be and more than that would sell thier soul for a homosexual, then surely God has a problem with that... You can never change? Big Deal! 😒 You can sure a heack change your behavior. Now I could give a treatise on homosexuality but that would take up too much space so I'll just stick with the most basic point, God is love and in him there is no hatred because people exist and are the way they are.. But he DOES hate evil wrong doing and rightly so. Homosexuality is a crime against nature. Can't take that? Of all the manly gender bending people who are hideous and just plain wierd looking and were born that way either to girlish looking or too masculine looking and you say that you can't get a ***** from one of them as a specific kind of homo?? I find that quite unlikely.

This question get posed in several forms: Does God hate gay people?, Why does the Church hate gay people?, Do you think I am going to hell for being Gay? etc.

This all stems from the perception of how those who profess Christ act towards those dealing with homosexuality. We have all heard of the church who protests military funerals and those known to be gay and actors who played gay people and say that God is punishing America for allowing or condoning homosexuality. I don’t believe this reflects the attitude of Christ. I believe both of the loudest voices we hear on this topic, The pro gay movement and the group that says God hates Gay people, are forgetting one important aspect of scripture.
?
2016-02-08 13:24:48 UTC
Well for one it's not hating, it's basically forgetting them; as in "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me." (If you know that part of the bible. For the short answer of why it's a sin (in the religion), see here: http://jnsucker12.deviantart.com/art/Reasons-Why-Homosexuality-is-a-Sin-Christianity-527106504

So basically it's just aesthetics. Of course, we could go into other reasons such as gays being to prideful and ruining themselves (a side effect caused by being small in number and being 'pariah' in most Western/Middle Eastern countries), or that it would be better not to have sex than to have sex and risk violence or other things to them or their partners. But as for a "good reason for why homosexuality is a sin," there either is none or I have yet to find one.

Personally, I am a person who was Christian, found out about gays from the movie "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry," thought that Christianity being against sin was only a Mosaic law for a time, then read some other books about the bible and a few internet articles to realize it's not just a Mosaic Law but a sin since the beginning of humanity. Still a Christian, but I do still wonder why homosexuality is a sin (especially since I'm autistic and get addicted to things easily).

God loves everyone and He wants all sinners to realize their wrongs and come back to Him.

God created Men and Women because we are happier and can do better whenever we are together. Being a gay maybe equal to telling God "Hey, it wasn't necessary or wise creating two opposite sex because I can do without them & meanwhile I'm a gay".This is to say that gay maybe unknowingly insulting his creative idea for creating man and woman to unite finally to multiply. But gay people must have had their own reason for why they are gay. I'm not a gay so I don't know. In all, I'm trying to say that God does not hate gay, He hates nobody but we must correct our mistakes and if that will be too difficult for us, then ask for HIS divine assistance.

Good question. The Bible says those that practice the homosexual lifestyle are in line with those not inheriting God's Kingdom. (1 Corinthians 6:9 & 10) However, in the next verse we find that there were some who WERE those things at one point, but after being made 'clean', were found as righteous in Jehovah's viewpoint. (1 Corinthians 6:11)

This shows that while Jehovah detests the lifestyle, the person themselves still have a chance to be found clean in His eyes if they give up living that way and start living by Jehovah's standards. While some might argue it's not possible to do this, the Bible shows that Jehovah can give 'the power beyond what is normal' to help people to overcome any kind of adversity. (2 Corinthians 4:7 & 8) This power is guaranteed to be given if the person asks for it through prayer to Jehovah, since it involves the person trying to do His will. (1 John 5:14 & 15)

First, let's look at the premise of one person's system of belief. If a man believes that God created "man & woman" and the purpose is procreation, therefore, it follows that rejecting (or not following) the command of not procreating (by having sexual intercourse to the same sex instead of the opposite) is a sin against God. But does it say that a man cannot love another man intimately? No. Even King David is implied to be in love with Jonathan (king Saul's son). Jesus Himself loves His friend Lazarus, Apostle John, etc. But was it said sexually? Never. And the Bible is clear about that. Even acting feminine, cross-dressing are discouraged. Why? Because you court the idea of a man being a woman, when you are evidently created as a man. But then again, i say this if you only believe that God created man & woman.

If however, you are convicted in your heart that you believe in God, but still your sexual preference is that of the same sex, then know that God doesn't hate you. He hates the sin - which is, what He doesn't want you to do - which is, succumbing to lust and disregarding the natural design of man. What you can do is pray that God may lead you into holiness despite the constant struggle of lusting over the same sex.

Never for a second believe that it's a unique case, heterosexual struggles everyday of not following their lusts either. And being born gay, is likened to being born poor, blind, ugly, handicapped - it happened. But its up to that person to seek holiness, despite all because that's the ultimate trial.

If you don't believe in God (which is probably why most people chose not to), then you can do whatever you want and you won't even bother if God doesn't like homosexuality because you don't believe in God anyway.

Apparently so, according to the Bible.

The belief that homosexuality is sinful is based on the barbaric laws and attitudes in Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13 (which demands the death penalty), Romans 1:24-27 (which also includes lesbianism and claims that homosexuality is a curse from God for idolatry), 1 Corinthians 6:9, 1 Timothy 1:9-10 and Jude 1:7. In my view, people can by all means apply the belief to themselves, but I think they're wrong to impose their hateful beliefs on others. The now failed Proposition 8 in California was a shameful example of this.

I don't accept that someone can "hate the sin but love the sinner", although I did think it made sense when I was religious. I now think that if a believer seeks to make people feel uncomfortable, or even under threat, or deprive them of personal freedoms and human rights, that behaviour is hatred of their fellow humans, and persecution of a minority, whatever else is claimed. And I also wonder why anyone would want to be associated with beliefs that are based on a lack of compassion.

Same-sex marriage will mean that more people in our society will be able to lead happy and fulfilled lives, like those of us who are heterosexual.

I came across this article by Anjana Ahuja, The Times, July 12, 2005:

In Born Gay, Dr Glenn Wilson, reader in personality at the Institute of Psychiatry in London, and Dr Qazi Rahman, a psychobiologist at the University of East London, declare that “the accumulation of evidence from independent laboratories across the world has shown that the biological differences between gay and straight people cannot be ignored . . . our sexual preference is a fundamental and immutable component of our human nature”. Wilson and Rahman’s account goes beyond whether there is a gay gene — there is no single gay gene but genes do contribute — and considers the effect of sex hormones to which foetuses are exposed in the womb.

The boldly titled book says the research leaves absolutely no room for parental or societal influence on this intimate trait. Children cannot be seduced or otherwise led into homosexuality — which makes a nonsense of Clause 28, the law banning the promotion of homosexuality — and, however overbearing the mother or absent the father, no amount of poor parenting can waylay a child born to walk the path of heterosexuality. (Note: Clause 28 was brought in by the Thatcher government. It outlawed the promotion of homosexuality. It was repealed under the Blair government.)

No serious, evidence-based scientist, they charge, would deny that sexual orientation is fixed at birth.

The authors also speculate that we face an evolutionary future in which homosexuals become more prevalent. The genes that are implicated in gayness do not just influence sexual orientation — in low doses, they might confer personality advantages to heterosexual men (such as making them loyal, empathic and considerate), turning them into attractive mates and thus propagating those genes further.

No. God sent his Son Jesus Christ to save all people from sin. And there are many other sins besides being gay. Jesus Christ did not come to condemn sin. But to save man from sin so that they can have a right fellowship with God.

John 3:16-17

God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. That whosoever believeth in him would have everlasting life. For God came not into the world to comdemn the world. But that the world through him might be saved.

I assume that as you are curious about this subject, you must either be religeious or gay, perhaps both, may be neither but here goes.

The religeoius would assert that God made everything, therefore he must also have made Homosexuality, if God made it, it must be good, as God is good. So according to God's wishes, we must accept homosexuality.

Homosextuals do not choose to be that way, it's how it is. It does not stop them from being good people.

The non religeious would assert that this happens and we must accept it.

We are Man, with all of it's variations and faults, none of us is perfect, whaterver that is, be happy, accept others for what they are, you have the power to change yourself, not to change others.

From an Islamic point of view, We are all God's creation. He loves us all. It depends on our actions that make God angry or pleased with us though. If He is angry because of our sins, doesn't mean He hates us. He reminds us that He is the All forgiver to all sins and He loves us to repent and He loves to Forgive. In Islam , being Gay is one of the major sins. God's throne shakes whenever a gay couple commits that sin. Obviously, it's a major sin and God hates it!! Again, doesn't mean he hates the sinner. God gives us many chances to repent and stop sinning. It is up to us wether to achieve the love of God by pleasing him or not!

Our creator created male and female for reproducing!! Women with women men with men is something contrary to nature and against our creators principles..

He doesn't hate the people but hates the act of homosexuality... Those who practice deserving of death the scripture say!! But a person can turn from this and remain in God's favour..

No. God created humans to engage in sex only within the arrangement of marriage between a male and a female. (Genesis 1:27, 28; Leviticus 18:22; Proverbs 5:18, 19) The Bible condemns sexual activity that is not between a husband and wife, whether it is homosexual or heterosexual conduct. (1 Corinthians 6:18) This includes intercourse, fondling another person’s genitals, and engaging in oral or anal sex.

While the Bible disapproves of homosexual acts, it does not condone hatred of homosexuals or homophobia. Instead, Christians are directed to “respect everyone.”—1 Peter 2:17, Good News Translation.

So God disapproves of the actions but not of the person. If a homosexual changes their ways and repents God of course will forgive and love them.

Of course not! God does not hate anyone but calls everyone to repentance. We all need to be repentant in one way or another don't we? "We all fail in many ways " the Bible says (James 3:2) Homosexuals simply need to be repentant in their behavior like we all do. And no one will ever be perfect; God will save us from our own imperfections one day too! Jesus covers over our incapacity to meet His holy righteous standard, if we want to come to trust Him but He won't force Himself upon us. We have to seek Him out. Let me share or remind you that :

1) God loves you (we don't initially love Him) & has a wonderful purpose for our lives

(1 John 4: 9, 10, John 10:10, Jeremiah 29:11)

2) Man is sinful & separated from God & cannot experience His love & forgiveness

(Roman 3:23, 6:23, James 3:2)

3) Jesus died on the cross as a substitute for all our sins

(1 Peter 3:18, Acts 4:12, 1 John 1:9)

4) YOU can know this Jesus as your personal Lord & Saviour

(Rev. 3:20, John 1:12, Hebrews 11:1, 6)

Hope you do read theses verses & come to trust Him & grow in your faith

It amazes me how often this question is asked. Apparently alot of people DO NOT understand or know God, His nature, His character, who we are to HIM and how much He loves all of us, His children. God hates SIN not people. Gays are not evil or bad - and being gay isn't even a sin. God hates sin - He is a perfect divine & holy being and as such can not look upon sin with the least degree of allowance. SO He hates my sin, your sin, everyone's SINS but HE loves us all.

God does not hate. He loves all people equally, both devout Christians and atheist homosexuals alike. While it is /technically/ a sin to be homosexual, the good news is that God forgives all sins! Really, like, think of all the strange things that are sins. God doesn't weigh your sins. Everyone sins, and the sin of being gay is not worse than any other sin.

I believe on the truth of the bible that if those people are not elect, that God does not love them. In the bible it mentions several times that God gave them over to reprobate minds and states preferring those things which are unnatural or unseemly (basically meaning gay). Even in the example of Sodom and Gomorrah, the men of the city were after the angels . . . These people tend to end up this way due to rebellion of God or sins carried down from one generation to another. So this tends to make me believe that God does not love these people.

No. God does not hate anyone. He is an altruistic deity who loves everyone. Hatred is a strong mortal human emotion.

Some people who are homophobic don't hate gays. They just feel threatened by them. A phobia is related to fear and not hatred.

NO! 1 John 4:8 lets us know that "God is Love". That lets us know it is not the person but the sin. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 gives us the thoughts of our Creator. Some who become Christians practiced homosexuality and other sins condemned by God. But they changed. Because of their love for God and a strong desire to please Him and with the help of His Holy Spirit, they changed. There are Biblical as well as contemporary examples of these changes. It is all about the heart condition. We need to keep 2 Thessalonians 3:2 in mind and realize that some prefer to put blinders on and say "God loves everyone." And He does but you have to change, to show that you love HIM!

Let's put it this way: If a parent has expressed to his children the things that they do and do not approve of, and the child decides to make a practice of doing something the parent doesn't approve of........would the parent hate that child, or hate what the child has chosen to do? Obviously, a good parent would hate what the child chose to do and not the child.

The same thing applies to God and those who willfully and willingly practice homosexuality - which is something the Bible condemns in no uncertain terms. In the "old testament", those caught engaging in it were put to death for it. In the "new testament", the death penalty was removed, yet God's condemnation of homosexuality still remains and those who choose to engage in it unrepentantly are to be removed from the congregation of God's people. God wants those who are willing to submit to his righteous standards as his servants, and that means that someone who identifies as homosexual would not be submitting to his righteous standards. They would have to put an end to that lifestyle and its practices and life according to God's ways if they want to be viewed favorably by Him.

Note: Even though this question is about homosexuality, the same thing applies to "straight" people who engage in sex outside of marriage. That and homosexuality are still included in "sexual immorality" and are serious sins against God's moral standards.

God loved everyone all the way to the cross. That is where his love ends. Anyone who rejects the salvation offered freely by Jesus will find only righteous anger and judgment from God. There is no sin that God will not forgive except the sin of rejecting Jesus.

John 3:16-21 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who BELIEVES in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. “There is no judgment against anyone who BELIEVES in him. But anyone who does not BELIEVE in him has already been judged for not BELIEVING in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.”

No.

God loves all people unconditionally. This means there are no conditions needed to be met to merit His love. God loves the worst sinner just as much as He loves the best saint. Being Love, God can do nothing else.

This does not mean that He approves of all of our actions. As any good parent can attest, there is a fundamental difference between love and approval. Some people call this "love the sinner, hate the sin."

Anyone who states, "God hates these people or those people" does not understand basic Christianity.

Here are a couple of quotes about God as Love from C. S. Lewis that I really like:

"He [God] has paid us the intolerable compliment of loving us, in the deepest, most tragic, most inexorable sense. .... Love, in its own nature, demands the perfecting of the beloved; ... mere "kindness" which tolerates anything except suffering in its object is, in that respect, at the opposite pole from Love."

"You ask for a loving God; you have one ... not a senile benevolence that drowsily wishes you to be happy in your own way, not the cold philanthropy of a conscientious magistrate, not the care of a host who feels responsible for the comfort of his guests, but the CONSUMING FIRE HIMSELF, the Love that made the worlds, persistent as the artist's love for a child, jealous, inexorable, exacting as love between the sexes..."

"The only place outside Heaven where you can be perfectly safe from all the dangers and perturbations of love is Hell."

See also the fourth chapter of the first letter of John.

With love in Christ.

No, Proverbs 6:16-19 tells us, "There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers." Notice that homosexuality does not make this list. It would be more biblical to promote phrases such as "God hates liars" and "God hates murderers." In fact, the Bible nowhere directly states that God hates homosexuals.

That does not mean that the Bible approves of homosexuality. The Bible consistently tells us that homosexuality is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). Homosexuality is described as an abomination. Romans 1:26-27 teaches explicitly that homosexuality is a result of a continual rebellion against God. When people continue in disbelief, the Bible tells us that God “gives them over,” allowing them to experience their sinful desires and the resulting consequences. First Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God. Homosexuality is immoral and unnatural. It is a perversion of the "natural order" and, more importantly, of God's view of sex.

With all that said, the Bible does not describe homosexuality as a greater sin than any other. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17). While the Bible declares that God hates all workers of iniquity (Psalm 5:5), the Bible nowhere singles out homosexuals as objects of God's hatred.

Does God approve of homosexuality? Absolutely not. Can a person truly be a Christian and at the same time a practicing homosexual? No (1 Corinthians 6:9). While the "God hates fags" group is correct in proclaiming that homosexuality is sin, it fails miserably in the tone of its proclamation. Ephesians 4:15 instructs us to "speak the truth...in love." First Peter 3:15 teaches us to proclaim the truth, but to do so with "gentleness and respect." We must uphold the truth of God's Word in proclaiming the sinfulness of homosexuality. However, we must uphold this truth in a loving, gentle, and respectful manner. We must warn homosexuals about the eternal dangers of continued rebellion against God. At the same time, our message should be focused on the forgiveness and freedom from sin that are available through the Lord Jesus Christ.

I don't think God hates people as we understand the meaning of the word hate. In the old testament days, the Greek word hate just meant 'preferred'. Like the bible says God loved Jacob & hated Esau. But God did not hate him as we understand the meaning of the word. It just meant God chose Jacob over Esau even though Esau was the first born. Jesus says in the gospels that anyone who does not hate their mother or father or brother is not worthy of him. But, the meaning is that anyone who does not put God first, above family, is not worthy. It does not mean to despise someone. God loves all of his creations. But God despises sin. It is possible to hate or despise sin without hating or despising the person who commits the sin. Gay people, like anyone else, have the ability to make a choice. if they feel gay tendencies or urges, they still have the ability to intellectually decide & withhold from acting on those tendencies. Just because you feel one way doesn't mean you have to act on it. How you decide to act, or choose to act, decides your fate with God. I was a lesbian for over 30 yrs but I chose to stop acting on my urges & in a short time, God did change the desires of my heart. I never want to go back to that lifestyle now that God has freed me from it. God will do the same for anyone who asks him & chooses him over sin.

This is God's thoughts on the subject.

While the Bible disapproves of homosexual acts, it does not condone hatred of homosexuals or homophobia. Instead, Christians are directed to “respect everyone.” 1 Peter 2:17

Even though they do not condone homosexual relations, true Christians show kindness to all people. (Matthew 7:12) God wants us to honor men of all sorts.

Therefore, genuine Christians are not homophobic.

God hates nothing he has made but he probably gets rather bored with people who call themselves Christians yet are obsessed by ideas of sex to the exclusion of anything else. possibly because of their own lack of experience or expertise in that area. Sexual peccadillos are as nothing compared with mean-mindedness, self-righteousness, bigotry, pettiness and judgemental attitudes, oddly very much like those so often expressed in these answers. As the man said on the subject of graves disguised (whited sepulchres) outward show is nothing if everything is rotten inside.

Does God hate gay people?

Based on what I read in the Bible, yes.

Here are some Bible quotes:

Lev 18:22-23

"You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

Lev 20:13

"If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death."

1 Cor 6:9

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals"

1 Tim 1:9-10

"realizing the fact that (civil) law is not made for a righteous man, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers"

Rom 1:26-27

"For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error."

However God also says through the apostle who followed Jesus that there is hope if you change your ways -

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NKJV

(9) Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,

(10) nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

(11) And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
Moi

Scriptures does attest that he hates the wicked and unbelieving - and promises to destroy them - unless they repent. So yes. And he hates what they do. He hates all fornicators and fornicators whether gay or straight.

Psa 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

1Co 6:9 Don't you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality,

1Co 6:10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.

Dear Friend,

God does not hate people. He desires to 'commune/fellowship' with His creation. But, it is OUR sin that ...blocks that covenant relationship with a Holy God.

And it is only through Jesus Christ, by the Power of the Holy Spirit can anyone be 'reconciled/restored' back into a right relationship with God.

So then, how does someone have a relationship with God? By getting to "know" Him, through His Word. Learning what pleases God and what displeases God. Remember, Jesus became OUR substitute on that horrific cross. But, that does not give us a license to sin against Him. Once we learn that the burner on the stove top is "HOT"...we STOP putting our hand on it. Once we learn what displeases a Holy God, we STOP doing those things. And it is the Power of the Holy Spirit who can and does "deliver" us from that which is contrary to God's principles.

God wants no one to perish. But man is the one who ultimately makes their own choices in this world. God's principles are universal and non-optional. Everyone is subject to them whether they believe it or not. When we "obey" God...blessing/rewards. When we "disobey" God's principles....consequences/punishment. Again, we can either accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and live for ...Him, or reject Him and live for ourselves.

Blessings,
Thabiso

The Bible

The Bible generally teaches against any sexual relations except between husband and wife. The Bible specifically mentions sexual intercourse between persons of the same sex as among the forbidden acts. Homosexual acts are mentioned in seven Bible passages: 1

2 refer to rape (Genesis 19:5, Judges 19:22)

3 refer to intercourse between men (Leviticus 18:21-22, Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:27)

1 refers to intercourse between women (Romans 1:26)

1 refers to prostitution and possibly pederasty (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

1 is general in nature (1 Timothy 1:8-10)

No not at all, why do people find it so hard to understand that what we support and what we do can be an abomination to healthy life, God is Not a hater of persons he is hurting because of persons, because in order to save people whom refuse to believe and heed his advice they shall have to suffer the consequences of their own actions, and he has to remove himself from them in all of his forms, which are Peace-Love-Truth-Comfort-Help-Care-Friendships - Pleasant surroundings - Health-life-Good company etc this is Hell where only hatred destruction and Evil are, this that they may repent and see that God is and ever was Almighty God, without him there is nothing and no hope but horrendous destruction.

(1 Corinthians 6:18) This includes intercourse, fondling another person's genitals, and engaging in oral or anal sex.

While the Bible disapproves of homosexuals acts, it does not condone hatred of homosexuals or homophobia, instead, Christians are directed to "respect everyone."-1 Peter 2:17.

God does not hate gay people .. God loves .. ALL men are created in His Image meaning GOD created you in his own image. SO he loves all he created... he does however, hate sin and the sin we choose God created man to be with a woman. and it is an abomination for them to be sexual with their own sex. .. that does not mean God HAtes Gay people... God Hates sin. and the sin we choose. It does not give the right for Christians , like myself to show hate to Homosexual and other people doing sin because all people sin including Christians. We are to show Love to all of God Creations. and to treat them the way you would want to be treated. IF you feel someone is doing wrong pray for them . God knows your heart. and be honest with love what your belief is .. don't quote scripture.. the gay community probably can tell you what those scriptures are . quote your actions with actions. and showing love will lead all people back to Christ. including all who sin not just gays.. so don't just target one sin .. fix your own first and pray for those around you... :)

Yes and no. He loves everyone, but often in the bible you hear about times where he destroys entire cities because almost everyone is sinful. The Bible teaches at 1 John 4:3 that God is love. However, what does the Bible say about Homosexuality? The Bible clearly states that God designed sex to be engaged in only between a male and a female and only within the arrangement of marriage. Genesis 1:27, 28.."27 And God went on to create the man in his image, in God’s image he created him; male and female he created them. 28 Further, God blessed them, and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving on the earth." Leviticus 18:22,,"You must not lie down with a male in the same way that you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable act." The Bible, which is inspired of God, lists the "works of the flesh" as things that are not acceptable to God. Galatians 5:19-21.."19 Now the works of the flesh are plainly seen, and they are sexual immorality, uncleanness, brazen conduct, 20 idolatry, spiritism, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, dissensions, divisions, sects, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and things like these. I am forewarning you about these things, the same way I already warned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom." True Christians are not homophobic, 1 Peter 2:17 reminds us to "Respect everyone and show Honor to people of all sorts

True Christians show kindness to all people including those who are gay. Matthew 7:12..."12 “All things, therefore, that you want men to do to you, you also must do to them..." Jesus taught his followers that the way to salvation is open to everyone exercising faith in him. John 3:16.."For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life." Exercising faith in Jesus would include conforming to God s moral code, which forbids practicing certain types of conduct, including homosexuality. Romans 1:26,27.."26 That is why God gave them over to uncontrolled sexual passion, for their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; 27 likewise also the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full penalty, which was due for their error." God is in your mind,

so ask yourself,

Do you hate gay people ....
2016-02-12 09:02:59 UTC
No. He loves them infinitely!

Ask anyone the following question and you will have a good idea of their view of the gospel: What would you tell a practicing homosexual that he had to do to be saved?

Many today suggest that ongoing homosexuality is a sin for which there is no forgiveness. Many people today believe that a practicing homosexual cannot he saved. They would answer the question stated above by telling a practicing homosexual that he must first stop his homosexual behavior and then, and only then, would he be able to place his trust in Christ and be saved.

Such a view grieves me. I actually hurt inside when I hear people say such things. Why? Because I too am a practicing sinner and but for the grace of God I would be bound for eternal suffering in hell.

If a gay or lesbian can't come to Christ in simple faith just as they are, then neither can any practicing sinner. The Scriptures are clear on this point. It only takes one sin of any magnitude to condemn to hell (Galatians 3:10-14). All are sinners (Romans 3:23). And, even the holiest of Christians remains a practicing sinner until he goes to be with the Lord (1 John 1:8,10; 3:2).

If practicing sinners can be saved, then so can practicing homosexuals. Likewise, if practicing homosexuals cannot be saved, then neither can practicing sinners of any stripe. If practicing homosexuals are doomed to hell, then so are we all.

One seeming problem for those who hold my view is that it sounds like we are condoning sin by saying that practicing homosexuals can be saved. However, the accusation does not stick because we do not condone sin in the life of a believer. We preach against it. We call believers to lives of wholehearted service of Christ. We call Christians to deny themselves, take up their crosses, and follow Christ daily. We preach discipleship to believers as much as anyone does. The difference is, we do not call unbelievers to clean up their lives so that they can be saved. We call them to accept the free gift of salvation by placing their faith in Jesus Christ alone to save them.

Another seeming difficulty with this view is that the Scriptures tell us that we are not to fellowship with other believers who willfully and unrepentantly indulge in those sins scripturally subject to church discipline. Homosexuality is one such sin (see the word pornos in 1 Corinthians 5:11). Practically speaking then, what are we to do with a new Christian who is a practicing homosexual? I would suggest that we treat them like any new believer. We should give them instruction, encouragement, love, attention, fellowship, and time to grow. First Corinthians 5:11-12 is not talking about new Christians who are in the process of breaking the habits of their old life. It is rather talking about believers who are stubbornly, defiantly, and unrepentantly walking in the ways of their old life.

It is important to note as well that Paul in 1 Corinthians 5 indicates that some who were a part of (i.e., were "inside") the body of Christ at Corinth were practicing fornicators and alcoholics and the like (1 Corinthians 5:12; see also 5:1-5; 6:15-20; 11:21,30). He does not question their salvation. He questions, rather, their right to fellowship with other believers while they remain in a position of defiant disobedience.

Let anyone--homosexuals included-- who wishes to drink of the living water which will forever quench their thirsty souls come and drink freely (John 4:10; Revelation 22:17). Whoever believes in Him--homosexuals included--will not perish but has everlasting life (John 3:16).

The Biblical premise is that each person is a vessel which by power of choice are able to choose what they will take to heart, or in other words, allow themselves to be filled with.

Another Biblical premise is that God refuses to dwell with hateful hurtful things which violate his love (as a companion dwells with another companion) if that other person allows their self to love hateful and hurtful things so as to allow those things to fill them. For the person who allows their self to love hateful and hurtful things so as to allow those things to fill them are making a mockery of the faculty for love by misusing that capacity to love which God gave to them.

It is no different than you or I choosing to not be a companion to those who only threaten our inner peace by the disgusting things they do. God has set us the good example in this which by imitating we are able to protect ourselves from corruption by those hateful and hurtful things and safeguard our inner peace.

can any candidate for president win on a platform of anti-women, anti-gay, anti-economic equality, anti-social equality, and anti-civil rights?

psychology of sex and gender says that there are 7-types of self-identity based on gender, 3-types of self-identity based on sexual-identity, and 7-types of self-identity based on sexual orientation. there is one sexual - orientation for each gender-identity. this self-identity study includes heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, transsexual, asexual, omnisexual, and inter-sexed people. these are types of people which we see everyday in our society. modern psychology has grown quite a bit since the early 1900s

nope. the word hate isn't even in the bible. God is anti religion. religion hates. God doesn't. religion condemns. God doesn't. religion judges. God doesn't. religion is hypocritical. God isn't. HUMANS DO & ARE THESE THINGS BECAUSE THEY ARE IMPERFECT, THE WAY HE INTENDED & WHEN WE STOP SPEAKING FOR HIM & LET HIM SPEAK THROUGH THEM THEY WILL BE OK. JESUS DIED FOR THE WORLDS' SINS ALREADY & HUMANS ARE FORGIVEN ALREADY ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS ACCEPT IT W A SIMPLE THANKS I ACCEPT YOU FOR DYING FOR ME. HARDLY ANYONE KNOWS WHAT GRACE OR MERCY IS DO OR DIE NO HOPE FOR SHT THATS HOW ATHEISTS THINK. EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF TO THEM W NO CARES BECAUSE THEYRE TOO SCARED TO OUT OF FEAR & HATRED OF RELIGION & FOR GOOD REASON BUT ITS MANS DOING IN THAT HE CREATED FEAR FOR HIMSELF. GOD IS A SCIENTIST & WE ARE HIS IMPERFECT CREATIONS THAT KILL OURSELVES TRYING TO BE PERFECT. ALL HES DONE IS CREATE US & ACCEPT US AS HE LEAVES SIN ON HIS DOORSTEP & WE DO THE REST. SO NO, GOD DOESNT HATE GAYS OR ANYONE😎✌🏽

I don't know how many times this question has been asked but again ... God Loves us all... we are ALL sinners.

Romans 3:23

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

no matter what we believe the sin to be.. we are all guilty.. if you want to know if this is correct.. then test yourself..be honest

Is lying a sin?

have you ever lied?

is adultery a sin?

Matthew 5:28 Jesus said..

But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Have you ever looked at anyone with lust?

Have you ever stolen anything? that would be a thief..

have you ever hated anyone?

1 John 3:15

Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer.

Sin is sin.. there is not one sin greater than the next and we will all be judged for it..

a true believer and follower of Jesus will know the truth of what is admissible as sin to God. because he knows what God loves and what God hates and God hates sin . God is Holy and pure and cannot live with sin, it is against His nature. He wants His followers to be holy also..

1 John 3:9

No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.

1 Peter 1:14-16

As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

However... GOD knows that we ALL sin and as sinners HE still loves us and offers us a FREE gift to come to know HIM and have a relationship with HIM...

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the FREE GIFT of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 5:8

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

NOTHING we do or don't do can help to save ourselves, that's why religion doesn't work, only faith..and nothing we ever do will separate those who believe in Christ from God..

Romans 8:38-39

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Jesus came to save those who recognize they are sinners... Mark 2:17

And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

His(JESUS) sacrifice paid the price for our debt (sin) to God and if we believe and accept this free gift of salvation through faith, we are washed clean from sin. We are then required to live a holy life that only God can change us into.

God will NEVER turn anyone away... Jesus died for the sinner (homosexuals included) How much more does anyone have to do to show their LOVE for them than to die for them...

God Loves every person no matter what their sin.. all He asks is that you repent from sin and accept Him as Savior... turn your back on flesh desires and He will give you a new spirit.. that is what is meant by being "BORN AGAIN"
