Question:
Is part of the rest Jesus promised rest from "pastors" who lay heavy burdens on their flock like pack mules?

Matthew 11
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

The rest he spake of is a spiritual rest unto our souls of which can not be taken whether in the mist of troubles or not.

John 16:22

And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and YOUR JOY NO MAN TAKETH FROM YOU.

John 16:33

These things I have spoken unto you, THAT IN (( ME )) YE SHALL HAVE (( PEACE )). IN THE (( WORLD )) YE SHALL HAVE (( TRIBULATION ))

So peace or rest in the mist of tribulation.

And yes, once you come to the knowledge of the truth, then you are no longer decieved by the false teachings of Pastors ect. who lay these heavy burdens on men sholders telling them God said it because you will know what God said for your self and not be caught in that deception.

The rest one finds is not only from the words of the false prophets who put guilt upon the ignorant and those who follow them, but also from the world itself.

Upon finding God and leaving the churches of men, I've found a peace that has removed me from the written laws of men of all religions. As far as the world is concerned, I do not exist and so my voice will never be heard, which is a blessing in more ways than one. I'm so free, I can't explain it with words, but I will say this; My interpretation of scripture is so far removed from the teachings of men, that many ignore what I share and chalk me up to one who is following the devil. Think about it, they said the same thing about Jesus. I thank the Father for all that I'm learning and for all that I have, which is a lot less than most.

Though I live 135% under the poverty level in America, I have no worldly burdens to speak of except those I choose to bear, which are light. My life is very simple, and freeing in a way I can't explain. For the truths I've learned is of no profitability to those who are worldly and consumed with worldly ways and teachings.

Messiah says that the false prophets would be many while His flock would be small - matthew 7:15 / matthew 24:11,24 / luke 12:32

in fact Messiah only has 1 main authorized church left now that is His; called in scripture laodicea and even it has the doors shut leaving Him on the outside asking to be let in - revelation 3:20

seems like the best place to be for now is outside those doors where He is .

From wherever & whoever the pressures come from,He will give rest. An most excellent verse for soul-winning.

The harvest field is ready but the laborers are few, pray ye the lord of the harvest that he would send forth laborers.
