I have several questions to ask religious christians that I have been extremly curious about and I would like them to answer because they do not make sense to me.

1: Why do you believe in the bible even though many of the things in it cannot be true?
2.Why do you believe in miracles and prayer when you cannot name a miracle that could not have been created by concidence and or man made solutions.
3. If humans are the perfect form created by god what are neanderthals, homo erectus, homo habalis, and other types of human predeccesors? A scientific conspiracy against god?

1) I don't know of anything in the Bible that CANNOT be true. The Bible contains prophecies that have been shown to have come true in history. And contrary to the erroneous assertions of some, these prophecies can be shown to have been written long before the event they predicted. And it describes a world history that makes sense.

When the pieces of the biblical puzzle are put together in the right order, wonderful things are revealed that show that only God could have been the inspiration behind its writing.

2) For God to be God, miracles would have to be a given. And if the message of the Bible is true, then prayer is essential.

3) This will have to be pure speculation, because there just is no information from God on this. I'm one who believes that God did not CREATE the universe in 6 days, but rather, RESTORED the earth in the 6 days presented in Genesis 1, after it was destroyed by Satan and his angels {see footnote to Gen 1:2, NIV}. So, what came before the destruction; why the various primitive humanoid species?

In various places throughout the Bible, it can be seen where God has changed his mind about how to accomplish a particular intent. Thus, I believe that God doesn't work out all the nitty-gritty details before he implements an action. And these pre-adamic humans may have been prototypes, before the final production series (Adam & Eve), test runs, if you will, until God found the right combination of attributes that he liked.

1. Spiritually born-again believers believe the Bible to be God's very own words. He who comes to God must believe that He is. Therefore it is by faith, not by what we see, feel, taste, hear, or touch. I actually had an experience during my conversion and it is enough for me.

2. I have seen miracles happen to people in my church that were healed through prayer. Doctors were even stunned and could not understand.

3. Are they really what they seem to be? What about when scientists thought they found Lucy. Turned out to be something else. A question to you would be if we evolved through survival of the fittest, have we arrived or are we still evolving? If we have reached our plateau, when did this happen and why at this point of development?

God made us from the dust of the earth and breathe life/spirit into us. We are composed of calcium, water, carbon dioxide, oxygen, phosphorus, sulfur, nitrogen, etc. elements from the earth. We are spirits housed in an earthly vessel. How did the differential cells that make up organs in the human body know where to migrate and function as a unit? Does a cell have intelligence? Where did synapses and electrical currents in the brain come from and the chemicals that are needed? Science can only explain the processes but can't tell us where the first cell came from only how it functions and reproduces.

But I see God in everything created, I have all the proof I need.

1. I have no idea what could not be true in the Bible. The fulfilled prophecy alone and historical accuracy is staggering.

2. I am a living miracle. My life is almost opposite from when I was not saved.

3. You bet that science is perfect. You can tell by the scientifically proven WMD's in Iraq and Nebraska Man. Also remember how much mass the sun burns off every day? It is a science fact. Back it up a million years and see how big the sun is? It all boils down to where you put your faith.

I do think some verses in the bible are subject to interpretation. I do believe in miracles however I do not think whether a man can or cannot reproduce such miracles is evience that i is man made. Of Jesus miralces no one yet has raised someone from the dead that has been dead three days. What do I think about Neanderthals ... I would like to suggest a book if you are truly open minded. It is called the Icons of evolution by Jonathan wells. In this book he discusses why what some of what you have learned in science class is either wrong or exadurated. This book was criticized by Eugenie Scott the director of the National Centre for Science Education. She did however admitt that the information in it is technically correct.

1. Everything is possible through GOd with trusting in Him.

2. Miracles are by God even a plant or a mountian is an everyday miracle some are just bigger than others and concidences and man made solutions are differnt than miricles. Man and God.

3.They Lucy thingy is just a bunch of bones put togther that were found a few miles a way from each other you could do that with a squeral and oposum and say it was a new life form and it wouldn't be true. DUH!!!!!!!!!

being created of God's image means his actions not his face.

1) I have been studying the bible critically for years, and I cannot find anything in it that remained questionable after it was studied a little deeper.

So you give us specific verses that are questionable.

2) When I was young I was in a car accident. One girl who was with my family was thrown out of the window and onto the street. She broke her back badly and was never expected to be able to walk again or to have kids. In the next days her back got progressively better. Within four days her back was healed completely. This is a true story, it happened in 1989 and my dad had gone over to her and prayed over her.

Another miracle. My family used to be very poor. My mom had four kids who were all 5 and under and my dad was a student. We never told anyone ever that we didn't have any food left, we would just pray about it and God would provide. They even had other married students ask them for food and then they would give their very last bag of groceries. We never missed a meal.

3) Alot of other people have already answered that question... plus, if there was a whole race, you would think that you would find a lot more skeletons, especially in the area that they found the other one.

Seeing as no Christians have answered yet at the time I am writing this, I'll take a stab at this. I hope others will answer as well:

1. I believe in the Bible because it makes sense to me. I believe in it by faith. I also believe in it because despite what others say, it is used extensively as a historical tool by archaeologists, scientists and historians to assist them in their work. Finally, the Institute of Creation Research has many scientists and others who have been able to prove the legitimacy of the Bible. Even if they did not do so, I would still believe, by faith.

2. There is historical and scientific proof that the flood depicted in Genesis did happen. The fact that humans and animals are still here after this world devastating catastrophe occurred is proof of the miracle of survival against odds that no other human being or animal was able to survive except for Noah and those aboard the ark. While I cannot personally recall exact miracles I have heard of due to my good forgetter (as my grandpa used to say), I am aware of many instances where doctors have been totally unable to explain by any logical, scientific or medical means how someone was cured of terminal illness or some other seemingly insurmountable medical condition or disease, and the only logical explanation was a supernatural miracle. One only has to go online and research this to see countless accountings of these types of miracles.

3. As a Christian, I do believe that God created humans in our present form. We are not aware of every single species of life that God created when He made this earth. I believe in dinosaurs. There is scientific and archaeological proof that they existed. There is also proof that such human-like species that you described also existed. That does not mean that we evolved from them, as Evolution will claim. It merely suggests that such creatures existed and evolved through time, as many species do. It is entirely feasible that such human-like creatures did exist at the same time that humans in present form existed. Perhaps the reason that present-day human forms did not turn up in archaeological finds is because they lived in a different part of the world where they have not been discovered yet. Science has not uncovered everything, so who are we to say that what I am saying is not possible?

1. The bible is true and once the holy spirit reveals himself to you, one cannot help but believe.

2. God miracles are not manmade and one can always recall the miracle that god gives.

3. Humans are creations of God and should not be compared to scientific conspiracy by other groups against anything of God.

1) Instead of just arbitrarily saying things, name something in the Bible that cannot be true.

2) I can name several things in the Bible that cannot be chalked up to coincidence. All of the prophecies regarding Jesus were fulfilled, even though many of them Jesus had no control over.

3) Neaderthals, homo erectus, etc are not actual creatures proven by actual skeletons. They are the "progression of man" decided upon by scientists who believe in evolution. You might as well ask me to explain why pixies and leprechauns aren't in the Bible...

Wow! Right to the marrow! Good one!

Let's see. According to my wife;

1) It is all true! The world did really all flood and the story of the ark and all is all exactly true, and if you weren't blinded by the devil you'd see it too!

2)Are you kidding? Miracles happen all the time! I pray for things and they happen, unless of course god doesn't will it. Then they don't happen. Which proves it. And what about Jesus raising the dead and walking on water? They must have happened because they're in the Bible and as we already established in answer #1, everything in the bible is true.

3)They're all either humans or monkeys. The scientists are just in a big conspiracy to hide the truth because they hate God. Whenever they find a fossil that proves that evolution isn't true they hide it and don't tell anyone about it. If they didn't do this then everything in the bible could be proven by looking at fossils. The fact that there are fossils if proof of the flood. Only in a great flood can things be covered over quick enough to become fossils.

P.S. Accept Jesus as your personal lord and savior, or your creator is going to send you to be tortured for all eternity! (He only does this because he loves you. How sick is that thinking?)

According to me...Hmmm. I don't mind people believing in things unseen or an after life. I do myself.

The view of the 'true believers' is that the whole universe exists so that our creator can sort us out, and that only those few who happen to accept the exact right "truth" (on total blind faith) live on. The vast majority are not merely disposed of but are sent to be tortured for all eternity (for failing to guess right or be born in the right time or country or for daring to use the brain God gave them to try to reason things out) To me, this is more than a little insulting to my creator. Basically, it's saying that God is a worse psychopath than Stalin or Hitler, and that he is untalented as a creator as most of us won't turn out to be good enough.

I see the overly religious as a bunch of frightened children sitting in a room for all their lives, coloring the same picture over and over with their crayons. Deathly afraid that if they color outside the lines, or get the wrong color in the wrong place they'll be sent off to the gulag.

I have a more fatherly view of my creator. I think he (It?They?) want's me to grow and learn to draw my own unique pictures. I don't believe that the universe is looked over by a psychopathic egomaniac who screwed up most of the people he created. In short, I think God is good and no old book or charismatic nut is going to convince me he's evil.

Oh shoot! My internet went down while I was trying to post this. The Devil's trying to stop me from posting the truth! (Or maybe my ISP sucks.)

By the way, there are THOUSANDS of fossils of various early hominids, not just Lucy or one Neandertal (One? Please!) I keep reading all this nonsence that you people are spouting in Creationist literature. I thought Christians weren't supposed to Lie. Know the truth and truth will set you free.

I observed that cutting-edge question and theory it replaced into variety of unusual because of the fact why wouldnt somebody have confidence some thing appropriate in front of their eyes if it replaced into rapidly out shown. yet then what's the definition of shown? i'm getting why anybody is atheists. I dont get why anybody is anti faith. i think of maximum atheists are atheists because of the fact they only cant have confidence in some thing like a God while there is not any real evidence of a God and each historic references to faith and God after time has a tendency to sound a sprint antiquated and primitive. i think of maximum anti faith atheists have in basic terms had some undesirable reviews with some religious people or a faith and characteristic a chip on their shoulder. i think of unquestionably very few have died extremely with the aid of faith that wouldnt have died had faith on no account existed. each and every conflict and persecution dedicated by way of a set or a rustic had each and everything to do with greed and skill and little or no to do with faith. Had faith on no account existed, all the wars nevertheless might have occured, imo. they only could have been fought below a diff banner. people constantly choose to declare how many undesirable issues have been performed by way of religious people, yet then in addition they decrease cost all the good, too. faith has performed a lot to assist humanity besides. Non christian gvts, like communism, that extremely made particular faith replaced into ousted from the country, have killed some distance far greater people in the historic previous of the worldwide then so noted as religious wars and persecution.

1) your opinion.

greater thinkers than you and i on both sides of the isle have tackled the issue of whats true - evolution vs the Bible. you believe your side. i believe my side. next question.

2) your point of view.

i believe in miracles and answers to prayer because i've experienced or witnessed them. you have experienced nothing in those areas. guess which side i'm sticking with. next question.

3) if you gave some examples of scientific proof concerning early man, that hasnt been scientifically debunked and exposed as hoax's maybe i could venture a better answer. as for any other skeletal remains collection: it hasnt been undeniably proved that those bones found are actually representative of eartly man. evolutionists simply approached the bones with a preconceived theory that man started out as monkey and gradually grew in stature and intelligence. unfortunately there's no atheist Bible having personal individual written record of man's developement to rely on.

1) why do you save it can't be true? can you prove that it isn't rue?

2)Man, I pray 4 u. God flodded the whole earth and saved Noah on the ark... u think that can be a man made mirical. Or better yet Jesus died on Cross to take all of our sins away. Those who believe are now alive in Christ because he lives again.

3)If you put ur faith in Science you will be destroyed. Jesus is the way the truth and the light.

I believe the Bible as a message from God like parables not all is historical fact but all has a deeper meaning.

merricals do happen it is not just what they involve but also the timing of them if we ask God for some thing and it arrives just in time that is a merical in itself. God knows our needs and provides when we ask in righteousness

finaly God created men in his own way and time I do not thing the creation story excludes God using evelotion

christians, and all the other ignorant people in ANY religion have to ask themselves the same questions, especially their spiritual questions, which, in fact, the believers WILL NOT be able to prove, therefore making them invalid!

but..............

then the believers say: "We don't need proof, We have faith".

What BS! Everything in Life needs proof!

Without PROOF, nothing is valid!

Having Blind Faith (religious beliefs) is Wasted energy, time and is worthless!

Here's the Solution to be better than ANYONE in religion:

Create a private, personal, direct, divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one else with Spiritual intelligence.

2. faith

3. Well...actually, there's only one skeleton found of that so-called "Lucy." One. Personally, I'd say that they're all monkeys (the bones...not the scientists.) Faith...on the evolutionists' part...one set of broken monkey bones proves the existence of a whole race of pre-humans.

Don't worry. Christians will twist that little fictional book around and around until they can answer those questions. Rather than admit the truth, they will come up with their own theory's.

THE BIBLE IS GODS WORD. MUCH OF IT IS TAUGHT IN PARABLES AND IS NOT MEANT TO BE LITERALLY TRUE BUT TO TEACH PEOPLE SOMETHING.

I HAVE PERSONNALY WITNESSED MIRACLES THAT DID NOT HAVE SCIENTIFIC EXPLANATION.

GOD USED EVOLUTION AS HIS MEATHOD OF CREATION. THIS IS CALLED THE THEORY OF INTELLIGENT DESIGN.
