I'm trying to be a serious Christian. I'm 17 years old and lately I've had problems with anger and swearing and really caused strife in my family. I'm trying to get rid of bad influences in my life, but I really want to watch Breaking Bad season 5 and discuss it with my friends! Please give me helpful Christian advice!

It all depends on what is in your heart, if you have anger issues and a swearing problem, there is a lot of both in that show and I wouldnt suggest watching it but only because of the influence shows like that can have on someone as young as you are, but purely from a Christian standpoint no, there is nothing wrong with watching the show just remember your Christian values and try not to let it influence you, remember it is a show full of actors not real and there is nothing cool about what they do on the show.

Commandment 11: Though shalt not watch Breaking Bad.

A little silly, huh? Watch it, if you like.

Why wouldn't it be o.k.? You know it is a TV show designed to entertain people. It is not real. I seriously doubt you want to develop a terminal illness and start selling drugs to make ends meet like he central character does on that show.

Usually people at your age are mainly influenced by friends, peers and family. Pay more attention to who you associate with vs. what you watch on TV or DVD.
