The Nazis made the infamous 6 exceptions. 6 tribes/sects of Jews were spared arrest and gassing because they were deemed to be pure-blooded and sufficiently Aryan.



There were also several prominent half-jew officers. Such as the High Admiral of the German Navy. Or the Feldmarschall Erhard Milch (equivalent rank of 4 star general) was a half-jew.

Surely not all of them would have joined the Nazi party but anyone hoping for promotion or side benefits would have found it to his advantage to do so. There have always been rumors that SS bigwigs like Himmler and Reinhard Heydrich were themselves part Jewish but I'm not sure if that's ever been proven to be a fact.
