I got sent to the principal's office for telling my teacher the truth. What should I do?

She was telling us about evolution and I told her that was a lie invented by Satan to justify hating God, and now I'm in the hallway outside the principal's office.

You should ask your parents to send you to a private mythology school. Public schools must teach kids about reality so if you cannot handle that, then your only option is to find a school that teaches fantasy instead.

I suspect this is poe, and even if written by a Christian the story is more than likely a fabrication.  Especially since it is posted anonymously.



I spoke with a Junior High Science teacher once about how they handle this situation.  They do not send students to the principal unless the student becomes disruptive of class (in which case it is their disruptive behavior, not their beliefs, that get them in trouble).  In this case, the teacher will inform the student that regardless of their personal beliefs, they are still required to learn the materials to pass the class.  For example, no matter how much you dislike "Lord of the Flies" you still have to read it to pass English Lit, likewise, you still have to learn about evolution to pass Science.

If you lived back in the dark ages. They( clergy) would burn you alive for heresy if you questioned a teaching--How far removed from Jesus was those events? Yet that religion still is spreading its darkness today. When I was at school, and my Religious Education teacher was telling us about God.  I'm an atheist, but at least I had the intelligence not to call him a liar!

It's obviously unacceptable to call any teacher a liar in class. 



Apart from that, your teacher is not a liar.  Evolution is a proven fact.  Most Christians understand this and accept it.  Try to think for yourself and don't just accept whatever your parents/church have told you.  The story of the Creation is just a fable, invented to explain how the Earth started and how animals, plants and humans came to exist.  It never really happened.  Almost all intelligent Christians believe that it was God who started evolution by causing the 'Big Bang'.
