I have knowledge for you.
We are not all called to preach or teach. We all have a different spiritual gift, seek and find it and glorify God/Jesus by using it. And pray for them. If God wants you to preach to then he will get them ready for it, but this is most likely not your calling/gift.
So live your life glorifying God/Jesus with your gift and pray for others and let Jesus handle those things. Too many try to preach and/or teach when this is not their spiritual gift and doing this makes Jesus look bad. So let us all glorify God/Jesus by using our spiritual gift(s). Look them up and pray that Jesus reveals yours to you. Then do just it to glorify God/Jesus.
Many go outside their gift and this is against Jesus' teachings. If your gift is administration then glorify God/Jesus with it. If we all are the feet, who speaks? if we all speak, who walks? Jesus says we all have different gifts. And we are to use them to glorify God/Jesus with only them.
And tell other Christians this, too many try to do too much. And make Jesus look bad in trying to do things they are not called/gifted to do.
The scripture with all this in it is and it is long so I did not include it: 1 Corinthians 12:1-31
I asked a question on answers about if one can follow God and not follow his word. Even atheists said one must follow God's word (the bible) to follow God.
So do you follow these or just say you follow God/Jesus without truly following him and his word?
JOHN 14:23-24
23 Jesus replied: 'If anyone loves me he will cherish my word; my Father will love him and we will come to him and make him our abode.
24 He that does not love me neglects my words. Yet the word you hear is not my own but that of the Father who sent me.
2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right.
17 It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do.
HEBREWS 4:12
12 For the word of God is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. It exposes us for what we really are.
1 Timothy 2:11-12
11 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission.
12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence.
Genesis 3:16
To the woman he said, “I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”
Ephesians 5:23
For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
Genesis 2:18
18 The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
Ephesians 5:24
Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
1 Timothy 5:14, "So I counsel younger widows to marry, to have children, to manage their homes and to give the enemy no opportunity for slander."
Titus 2:4-5, "Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God."
This is what God says a woman is to do and be. Add proverbs 31:10-31 to these and one can get a good picture of what God himself a woman is to do and be. So do we follow God or not? to follow God (even atheists know) one must follow his word.
I tell you this so you may learn that what God says is good and to follow we must follow all of God's word. Not just parts we choose to, but it all. Even in heaven the word of God/Jesus will remain so it is relevant now and forever as Jesus says below:
Mark 13: 30-31 (New International Version)
Jesus said:
30 I tell you the truth, this generation[e] will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 31Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Jesus says 'heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away'. So God's word is eternal and is for now, the past and the future in heaven. It will never pass away, so let us follow it now and then forever as well.
email with any comments good or bad and we can discuss them and the rest of God's word.
bless you.
