Why do some people think that the freemasons are satanic?

My father is a freemason, and he is completely normal. He tells me that that what they do is simply have big dinners, and discuss human rights and ethic questions. He tells me that the masonic-logde is open to anyone, and does not oppose any religious group or whatsoever. But the internet is flooded by people who claims that the freemasons is satanic and all sorts of rumours.

Why are these people so opposed to the freemasonry? Is there something to it?

Your father is absolutely right. Freemasonry is NOT a religion, it's a fraternity. People from all religions are accepted equally, as religion is NOT the focal point of a lodge. However, the Holy Bible, is the centerpiece of most lodges int he United States. In mine, we have the Torah and Quran as well. Religious tolerance has always been at the core of the founding of the United States, sounds familiar? There are 2 topics that can niot be discussed in the masonic lodge. Politics and religion.



People are opposed to what they don't understand or WANT to learn about. Freemasons keep things to themselves, and don't openly talk about what happens in lodge, so people are suspect of it. That's strange, because the other fraternal groups are as secretive, but no one accuses them of worshiping Satan. Go figure.

In ONE line of a book of OVER 900 pages is a reference to the name Lucifer, a Roman reference to the planet Venus. I forget how the Romans spelled it, but the name translates to LIGHT BRINGER, referring to the "star", the planet Venus, that precedes the Sun in the morning sky. THAT'S DAVID'S PROOF. Nope, Freemasonry is not a satanic cult. Freemasonry is a social fraternity. The Roman Catholic Church is neither distorted nor misleading. You, on the other hand, make some seriously distorted and misleading statements. It's unlikely that - at nine years old - you ever 'realized' ANYTHING was distorted or misleading within the Church. The truth is that you were never a Catholic. You probably were never baptized (the First Sacrament), and - at 9 - you were certainly never confirmed (the Second Sacrament), which means you couldn't receive the Eucharist (the Third Sacrament of Initiation). Because you aren't required to be a Christian to be a mason. They are very spiritual with an open belief system (at least my family members).

In the Holy Communion the Christians now snack Jesus’ delicious SPIT FLAVORED MEAT and, like vampires, DRINK HIS BLOOD to go to Heaven when they die (John 6:53)!
