Ancient material makes it clear that the "hosts of Heaven" were the stars; falling stars were fallen Angels or messengers from God in the heaven.

The fallen stars which came to earth and seduced females and had children with them are best described in the former Biblical book known as "The Book of Enoch" or 1 Enoch.

To answer your question; yes, the offspring of a woman that mated with a fallen meteorite or asteroid were called "Nephilim".

No,,,, the Neophilia (that is ,, fallen angels) are the ones that impregnated the earthly women. The book of Jude explains how these Neophilia left their habitation and came to earth and seduced these women , instead of being born of them as they were supposed to. This is one of the deeper meanings of the Statement by Jesus that says "Ye must be born again (born from above is a better translation to enter heaven" The ones that were born are what is known as Geber. Translated that means "different" in Hebrew.

No, the bible does not say they were angels. That behavior would be very out of character for angels. You can find a little more information about the Nephilim by doing a search for Anak and his decendents.

There was someone who even theorized they were discussing ancestors of the vikings, but it is all just speculation.

Ancient astronauts, not fallen angels, seriously it would explain a lot of strange stuff from ancient times, to think we are the only people in the last 5000 years of recorded history that could go from no flight in 1908 to the moon by 1969 is just plain stupid! >

I've heard of that however the sons of God were simply those from Seth's side of the family (they remained faithful to God). The daughters of men refers to the descendants of Cain (who rebelled against God and whose lineage became exceedingly wicked),

the angels noticed how good looking women were and came to earth and took all the wives they wanted and the offspring were mean murderers so God brought the flood because all mankind had been ruined in his sight

Yes, there are footprints all over the world of them. There are some inside the footprints of dinosaurs.

There are many articles written about them if you just google it. I have read these for years. I do believe it to be true.

Of course they were, they were also wicked and evil towards God. That why God destroyed the earth with the flood.

(Genesis 6:1-4) 6 Now it came about that when men started to grow in numbers on the surface of the ground and daughters were born to them, 2 then the sons of the [true] God began to notice the daughters of men, that they were good-looking; and they went taking wives for themselves, namely, all whom they chose. 3 After that Jehovah said: “My spirit shall not act toward man indefinitely in that he is also flesh. Accordingly his days shall amount to a hundred and twenty years.” 4 The Neph′i‧lim proved to be in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of the [true] God continued to have relations with the daughters of men and they bore sons to them, they were the mighty ones who were of old, the men of fame.

No, not really. The person who wrote Genesis might have thought they were, however.

I don't know. Doesn't really concern me, as I've never met one (to my knowledge) and they have zilch to do with my faith.
