Question:
Doesn't Isa 14:2 and Rev 13:10 prove whites will go into slavery in Heaven?

Isa 14:2 And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.

Rev 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Doesn't this mean white people going into slavery? They put blacks into slavery and oppressed them and the native-americans and latinos. They killed many native-americans(killed by sword?) so arent they going to get what they deserved in the Kingdom or Heaven?

Nope. God is no respecter of persons.

Nothing like taking ONE VERSE (or two different verses) out of context to ATTEMPT to prove what you want to believe others SHOULD believe.

Isaiah 14:2...you need to include verse 1 and several verses following.

A prominent theme in Isaiah is that non-Israelites would join the returning Israelites. God's intention was that through His faithful people all the world would be blessed. Through the family of David, the whole world could be saved by Christ. Never limit God's love to our own people. God loves the whole world.

Revelation 13:10 In this time of persecution, being faithful to Christ could bring imprisonment and even execution. Some believers will be injured or killed. But all the Anti-Christ and his followers will be able to do to believers is hurt them physically, but no spiritual harm will come to them who has a sincere faith in God. The times of great persecution that John saw will provide an opportunity for believers to exercise patient endurance and faithfulness.

There is NOTHING about whites going into slavery.

And later:

Once again biblical ignorance raises its ugly head.

You're taking 2 verses out of context. Actually, chapter 13 and 14 through verse 32 are prophecies against BABYLON, not WHITES IN AMERICA. Verses 24 - 27 of chapter 14 is a prophecy against Assyria. The rest of the chapter is a prophecy against the Philistines

If you knew the Scriptures as well as you PRETEND to, you'd not make such foolish posts as you just did.

So, instead of trying to make the Bible say what YOU WANT it to say, try doing a SERIOUS study of it and you won't look so foolish in the future.

Don't forget as bad as the slave trade was, that it wasn't just white europeans involved in it, it takes two to tango. There were many blacks deeply involved as well, rulers selling their own people as slaves in exchange for riches. Don't also forget that the Arabs have also been heavily involved in slavery, and that even today you will still find slaves in some countries around the world. Egypt is one I can think of, off the top of my head!

Israel is made up of many different colours, it is not just white people, though it is mostly whites or olived skinned.

Now are you saying that all white people will be slaves even if not all white people were involved? Will I be punished for something that my great, great, great, great, great, great forefather may or may not have done?

The Bible teaches us that all will be resurrected and judged. Those who have faith in Jesus and keep Gods commands will be saved, all others will have to answer directly to God and will be judged good or bad.

Hang on, hang on, hang on. White people? As in, all white people? Because personally, I have never owned a slave, or done anything other than denounce the practice, which has not been upheld in a long long time... So, surely pretty much ALL people now, white or otherwise, have never owned a slave. You cannot possibly hold people accountable now for something that happened more than a lifetime ago.

It says the nations (world) will be ashamed of their former behavior, destroy their images and idols and willingly serve Israel. At that time, we will enter a new age of permanent peace and we will never know war again.

Revelations is lunacy and a divination. It used to say 'according to John the DIVINE,' but like everything else that points to its own falseness, xtians keep reinventing themselves and removing incriminating evidence against xtianity so that it is very difficult to overcome its strong delusion.

No, what it means is that some people are not serious about Bible study. It was those who were that were foremost in working for the abolition of slavery.

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. (Revelation 5:9-10)

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

(Acts 10:34-35)

isaiah was talking about the assyrian conquest of the northern kingdom

the revelation verse has nothing to do with isaiah's verse, it represents the roman empire

We that are His in the first place are "set Free" He no longer calls us slaves but His Friends! (Go back and read the whole thing and stop taking it out of context.)

Slave owners from before the civil war, yes. Not modern day people who have no slaves.
