OK is it just me or is the king James version of the holy word a manuscript to be deciphered ?

i mean there is proof that there is alot more being said between the lines of translation then were are led to believe by those who still study ancient text.and if the true word of god lies in a chest in a valley some where south of the rock why is there no menton in any puibliction that there might be an acedemic interpitaton of newtons crypted philosophey might even have secret location of the arc of the covenant ,well i put it out there please tel me what you think?

It is not impossible that there could be some secret messages coded into the original text in the original languages.



However, it seems that most people have difficulty reading the (uncoded) Message which was put in the Scriptures. Probably this is for at least three reasons:



1) few of us understand the original Hebrew & Greek languages in which the Scriptures were originally writtel [surprise, surprise, they were not originally written in King James English!!]



2) few of us know a lot about the cultures of the times in which the Scriptures were written



3) For those who use the Authorized (i.e., King James) Version ... from the Internet it would seem that many have difficulty with the English language of 2006AD, let alone the English language of 1611AD.



But, thanks be to God, the Holy Spirit (the Author of the Word) does reveal the Message to those willing to read and to hear!!

There's a lot to be said for the fact that the King James version of the Bible was translated from Latin, which was translated from Greek, which was translated from Aramaic and a myriad of other languges that either don't exist today or exist in an entirely different form than they did when they were copied.



I think it has more to do with the lack of even translation making the KJV seem cryptic rather than a Davinci Code lurking.

Secret codes, which are encrypted into scripture, is not in the King James version, but in the original texts. What Newton worked on was "Texus Receptas", from which we get the King James version. Lot's of hidden codes being found there.

What most people don't come to terms with about the bible is that it has been written by man. After this, most texts were translated, re translated,so on and so on. On top of this, the bible had texts removed, added and altered. One reason I oppose some faiths of Christianity, is because pastors teach you to take the bible literally. (come on, do you really think Noah got a pair of each animal and put them on a boat? Not really to be deciphered, but written in a style in which we no longer speak or write.



I do find myself going back to original text and finding the meaning of words at the time instead of our current meanings of words. Once I do this, its much easier to understand.



We have changed, the bible and its original wording has not.



As for if there are still mysteries to be revealed by God in his timing and not ours? Of course there are. If we knew and understood everything, we would either live in a state of perpetual fear, or non fear, depending on what was going to happen when and if it were going to happen before we died a fleshly death or after.
