I know that the Bible references the “abomination of desolation”. How do we know it is to occur in December 2012?
2. The Bible does not have a book of Enoch.
3. Where is the Daniel reference located in his book?

if the "abomination of desolation" (which happens 3.5 years after the start of the tribulation) happens in December of 2012 that would mean that the tribulation would have to start by the end of this month (early next month if by "year" it is referring to the Jewish 360 day year). so unless within the next couple weeks a 7 year treaty gets created that Israel signs it can't happen then.
2. that is correct neither Jewish scriptures, or the Bible has "the book of Enoch"
3. think it is in ch. 9 where "abomination of desolation" is first referenced. in Daniel

There is no reference in the Book of Daniel about the year 2012 nor is there a reference in the Book of Enoch.
All this 2012 business everyone is going on about is a reference to the ancient Mayan calendar date when supposedly a new era will begin when their current calendar is coming to an end.
The Mayans were an old satanic cult of savages located in southern Mexico. They worshiped the sun god and made human sacrifices to their false god (satan) until the spanish came along hundreds of years ago and wiped their culture and population out.
The Bible reference to the "Abomination of Desolation" is to occur in the near future when the antiChrist sets himself up in the newly rebuilt Jewish temple in Jerusalem and announces to his followers that he is God and demands to be worshiped by all who do not belong to Jesus Christ.
Everyone refusing to bow down to him he will kill.

The Bible makes no reference to the year 2012. That date is just the latest one used by doomsday hoaxers because the Mayan Long Count calendar appears to end then. In actuality, it is only the end of this cycle and the beginning of the next cycle. The Mayans didn't predict the end od the world. For them, the completion of a long count cycle was an occasion for celebration, much like our celbration of the end of our calendar each year.

I don't want to wish my life away, but come 2013 there's going to be a lot of egg on some peoples' faces.
There are significant predictions already that have failed, based on the simple fact that I'm still typing this. However, up to now and not withstanding some other religious based eternal life myths, there is a single end of world prediction that has proved true many times and that is the end of your own personal world in the guaranteed outcome caused by death.
There are several real options for calamitous acts causing either the world or the human race to disappear, although few seem to mention the obvious one- Time. Just give it time.

biblical refrences of 2012? >> NONE! and i recommend all cult leaders get over this right now
2. statement, not a question. i think you are correct, although enoch does hold some credibility in some fatihs practices.
3. some people interpret daniel chapter nine to refer to the "tribulation" that is mentioned in revelation. it's a spurious entry with ZERO prophecy about 2012
John 3:16

I don't think the time period leading up to 2012 is a valid time frame. I may be wrong though. Your bible reference is Dan 9:27.

The book of Enoch is in the Gnostic Gospels, not in the Bible.
2012 is from the Mayan faith, not anything to do with Judeo-Christian faith.

I don't think the threat of 2012 has anything to do with your bibble . this threat is coming from man this time not god .Early man at that , the Mayans and the fact that their calendar stops at Dec. 21 or so, 2012 . All i can say is it had to stop somewhere . I believe they are extinct now

2012 is when the Mayan Calender ends-it has nothing to do with the bible, cannot be found in Daniel.

Whenever the 2nd coming will be, you can be sure that it will happen when we least expect it. The Bible tells us that it will come like a thief in the night..
